Værelserne var godt indrettet. Vi havde to med hems. God plads og fantastisk udsigt over byen og bjerge. Dejligt badeværelse med karbad. Desværre var spa-området ikke som vi håbede. Vandet var køligt. Som i en svømmehal i det store bassin. Spabadet var desværre lige så koldt. Her forventer man varmt vand på 38-39 grader. Det var 28-29 grader. Morgenmaden var virkelig god, med noget for alle og et fint lille vegansk udvalg også - og et af dagens højdepunkter var den meget søde og venlige værtinde, som hver morgen bød os og vores morgentrætte teenagere velkommen til morgenmaden. Hun var en stjerne. Vi satte også meget stor pris på shuttleservicen til Hausberg (ved skiområdet). Det lykkedes os at få plads de fleste dage. Enkelte gange gik vi - og vi måtte også gå frem og tilbage til centrum for at spise om aftenen, det er en frisk med fin gåtur. Vi lærte dog hurtigt at det var for farligt at tage “genvejen”. Den var fyldt med glat is og ikke belyst. I stedet tog vi stien langs vejen. Den var sikker og kun en smule længere. Spilleperioden og baren så virkelig hyggelig ud. Vi nåede dog ikke at bruge det.

Das Hotel ist am See in den Bergen gelegen. Von dort aus kann man tolle Spaziergänge und Wanderungen unternehmen. Wir hatten ein Maisonette-Zimmer, das aufgrund seiner zwei Etagen sehr geräumig und somit sehr angenehm und wohnlich war. Das Abendessen der Halbpension ist herausragend. Die Speisen sind vielseitig und extrem lecker. Am Buffet gibt es eine große Auswahl mit zwei Hauptgerichten Fleisch, ein Fisch und ein vegetarisches Gericht. Dazu mehrere Beilagen und noch vieles mehr. Nur die Käseplatte ist immer recht überschaubar und immer die gleiche. Ansonsten findet jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack. Wir fanden alles extrem lecker. Nach dem Essen lädt die Bar zum Verweilen ein - bei einem Drink, beim Billardspielen, Dart oder Kicker. Auch ein abgetrennter Raum mit Fernseher und Bibliothek sind vorhanden. Das ganze im Englischen Stil und getoppt vom offenen Kamin. Der Pool ist super groß und man kann super ein paar Bahnen schwimmen. Die Saunalandschaft ist für Wellness-Liebhaber eher klein. Drei kleine Saunen (90°, 60° und 90° Dampfbad) und drei miteinander verbundene einfache Ruheräume. Es gibt auch Tee und Wasser zur freien Verfügung. Wir waren mit unserem Hund da, für den bei Ankunft bereits Decke, Trink- und Essensnapf sowie Leckerli gerichtet waren. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wonderful hotel with excellent services. The staff are amazing as well as the location and amenities. It is really worth staying here. Parking is easy and lots to do in and around the site that include walks along the lake or spend some time in the spa and pool. Highly recommended.

Tolles Hotel an einem schönen See gelegen, leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen (bei HP). Schöne Zimmer, wenn auch teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung/Möbel. Das Wellness ist praktisch, aber es ist eben kein Fokus auf richtiges Wellness. Das Schwimmbecken ist etwas zu kühl und der einzige Whirlpool ist dauerhaft besetzt, es sind auch mehrere Familien und Kinder unterwegs, wenn also ein Pärchen ruhiges Wellness sucht, sollte das hier wissen. Ansonsten ein tolles empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Super Matratzen, jedoch für unser Empfinden zu harte Kopfkissen. Super freundliches Personal, speziell beim Abendessen. Frühstücksangebot ohne Räucherlachs. Super Brötchen- und Hörnchenauswahl. Auswahl bei Abendessen vollkommen ausreichend, Qualität für unsere Begriffe in Ordnung. Duschgel im Bad war leer. Zimmer bedürfen einer gewissen Überarbeitung, sind schon sehr abgewohnt (HausA). Schwimmbad und speziell auch der Whirlpool für unsere Empfindung zu kalt. Whirlpool und Poolbereich wirken recht altbacken und sollte unserer Meinung nach überarbeitet werden. Some amenities were not available- Finnish sauna was out of use due to construction/repair, and the restaurant is only open Wed-Sun. Paid $72 for "half pension" option for two people thinking it would be comparable to others in the area-- it was buffet and not worth the price. Also paid extra for "king" bed which was just two beds smushed together. Did not receive VIP room upgrade.

We loved the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were great. Location is perfect. Their sauna is super and highly recommended: guests have the needed huge towels in their rooms, sauna has different types and with different temperatures.

Excellent hotel! Chose it primarily because of the surrounding scenery and it did not disappoint. The hotel is suprisingly large and consists of multiple buildings. The staff is super friendly and helpful (despite my poorly spoken German!), the room was very nice & clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is unsurpassed - food tastes great and there are so many choices! The restaurant (by the lake) is also very good. I would definately choose this place to stay at again if my travels bring me back in this direction. Highly recommended!

Alles war Prima, die Umgebung ist sehr schön, das Essen, Frühstücks- und Abendsbuffet war sehr lecker. Die einzige Manko ist die Ausstattung und der Möbel im Zimmer (zumindest unseres Zimmer) . Das ist ziemlich veraltet und hat viele Gebrauchsspuren. Allerdings ist alles sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich un hilfsbereit. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen!

Hotel is out of town next to a nice lake with lots of hiking opportunities. Room servive was average at best: ran out of shampoo and liquid soap. dirty dishes were left in the room, beach towels were not changed. View out of rooms was spectacular, but we paid for that. Dinner options limited. Dinner buffet not very attractive. Staff only average for $400/night

Das Hotel ist super. Wir waren über Silvester dort. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet. Silvester Abendessen war hervorragend, einfach nur köstlich. Wir hatten 2 große Schlafzimmern und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf die Berge...einfach nur wunderschön. Die Zimmern waren sehr saueber.. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir sind begeistert 😊 Ich wünsche euch alles Gute in Zukunft...wir kommen wieder 🤗

Das Haus war voll belegt und daher haben wir für eine Nacht leider ein älteres Zimmer erhalten (Fernseher, Möbel). Daher für eine Nacht o.k. und der angebotene Service war dafür sehr nett. Sicherlich gibt es auch neuere Zimmer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was right by the lake and we had an amazing view from our balcony across the mountains. The room itself was a family suite with two bedrooms and a separate living room. It was clean and nicely decorated with lots of space. We had half board and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Both were buffets with plenty of choice. There was always a vegetarian option for dinner and soup, a salad bar and a variety of desserts. The staff were all very friendly. The location of the hotel is stunning. We didn’t have a car and did lots of walking as a result. It’s about 35-40 minutes to walk to a shop in town. You could walk to a train station for the cog wheel train to Zugspitze in about 30 mins. There were also a couple of places to eat within walking distance - near the alpspitz cable car. The lake was surprisingly warm for swimming and hiring paddleboards was very reasonable at 10 euros for 30 mins. Our children enjoyed the giant chess and curling available for free. There was also a selection of board games at reception. All in all we had a great time here and would recommend it for families.

The room itself was a family suite with two bedrooms and a separate living room. It was clean and nicely decorated with lots of space. We had half board and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Both were buffets with plenty of choice. There was always a vegetarian option for dinner and soup, a salad bar and a variety of desserts. The staff were all very friendly. The location of the hotel is stunning. We didn’t have a car and did lots of walking as a result. It’s about 35-40 minutes to walk to a shop in town. You could walk to a train station for the cog wheel train to Zugspitze in about 30 mins. There were also a couple of places to eat within walking distance - near the alpspitz cable car. The lake was surprisingly warm for swimming and hiring paddleboards was very reasonable at 10 euros for 30 mins. Our children enjoyed the giant chess and curling available for free. There was also a selection of board games at reception. All in all we had a great time here and would recommend it for families.

We loved the size of our family panorama suite, the view of the lake and mountains was absolutely stunning. However, the accommodations are missing basic amenities for active families traveling with children, such as nightlights (all reading lights by the beds were only usable in conjunction with the bright wall lights, not separately unless you unscrew the light bulbs) or dimmers, wall hooks in the bedrooms, a second bathroom with bathtub, outlets by the beds, a line or rack to dry off your bathing suits and wet clothes, a light on the terrace, a tea/coffee maker (we were told to borrow a water kettle from the front desk but it didn't come with cups or tea bags), separate light switches in the living room (there are plenty of lamps but you can only turn on all of them at once or you sit in the dark, no reading light or possibility to dim). We appreciated the fridge in the room but it was tiny and didn't fit most of our bottles There is no AC and the only way to get air is to open the windows which means you're letting a ton of bugs and mosquitoes in, as well. A huge spider in the bedroom seemed to benefit most from that. Another issue were the closings of the lakeside restaurant and spa upon our arrival. The spa didn't reopen until the end of the second day due to maintenance and it appears that there is still construction and limited access in the sauna area. The jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. The limited dining options forced us to drive down to town twice.

Great property beautiful rooms and warm cozy lobby. Food was excellent and staff was super friendly. The hotel is out of town and although they have a pass for the buss you have to walk down the hill to catch the bus and return back to hotel. So not very convenient

Das Haus war voll belegt und daher haben wir für eine Nacht leider ein älteres Zimmer erhalten (Fernseher, Möbel). Daher für eine Nacht o.k. und der angebotene Service war dafür sehr nett. Sicherlich gibt es auch neuere Zimmer.

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen, besonders das Badezimmer war schon älter. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut. Das Personal war nett aber besonders an der Bar und im Restaurant unterbesetzt. Teilweise war die Bar 30 Minuten nicht besetzt und die Gäste mussten warten, um etwas zu trinken zu bekommen. Die Lage ist ruhig und sehr schön.

Wonderful hotel with excellent services. The staff are amazing as well as the location and amenities. It is really worth staying here. Parking is easy and lots to do in and around the site that include walks along the lake or spend some time in the spa and pool. Highly recommended.

Sehr schön gelegen. Leider war die Familien-Suite nur über Treppen (1 sehr steil) zu erreichen. Zwei Frauen mit Kleinkind und zwei Koffer waren sehr mühselig in die Suite zu bekommen aber dafür war die Suite sehr sehr schön und einzigartig. Der Service war abends im Wintergarten sehr langsam, manchmal mussten wir 15 min warten um überhaupt die Getränkebestellung aufgeben zu können. Beim Frühstück war der Service so schnell, dass der Tisch schon neu gedeckt war, bevor man fertig war mit Frühstück. Wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen, da die Lage und Ausstattung sehr schön sind.

Das Hotel ist super. Wir waren über Silvester dort. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet. Silvester Abendessen war hervorragend, einfach nur köstlich. Wir hatten 2 große Schlafzimmern und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf die Berge...einfach nur wunderschön. Die Zimmern waren sehr saueber.. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Paid $72 for "half pension" option for two people thinking it would be comparable to others in the area-- it was buffet and not worth the price. Værelserne var godt indrettet. Vi havde to med hems. God plads og fantastisk udsigt over byen og bjerge. Dejligt badeværelse med karbad. Desværre var spa-området ikke som vi håbede. Vandet var køligt. Som i en svømmehal i det store bassin. Spabadet var desværre lige så koldt. Her forventer man varmt vand på 38-39 grader. Det var 28-29 grader. Morgenmaden var virkelig god, med noget for alle og et fint lille vegansk udvalg også - og et af dagens højdepunkter var den meget søde og venlige værtinde, som hver morgen bød os og vores morgentrætte teenagere velkommen til morgenmaden. Hun var en stjerne. Vi satte også meget stor pris på shuttleservicen til Hausberg (ved skiområdet). Det lykkedes os at få plads de fleste dage. Enkelte gange gik vi - og vi måtte også gå frem og tilbage til centrum for at spise om aftenen, det er en frisk med fin gåtur. Vi lærte dog hurtigt at det var for farligt at tage “genvejen”. Den var fyldt med glat is og ikke belyst. I stedet tog vi stien langs vejen. Den var sikker og kun en smule længere. Spilleperioden og baren så virkelig hyggelig ud. Vi nåede dog ikke at bruge det.

The property is in a rural like setting yet is only minutes away from Partenkirchen. There is a beautiful lake to sit outside and enjoy as well as a walking path around the lake. The breakfast and dinner buffets were huge and had so many choices to eat. The food was very good. There are several lounge areas both inside and outside to sit around and relax. Parking onsite. I would stay here again!

The hotel is off the beaten path but that's what makes it quiet and beautifully surrounded by nature. Our room overlooked the lake with mountains beyond! The breakfast was very good and the restaurant at night was excellent--It isn't open full time so we only got to eat there once in our 2 night stay. Parking was in front of our building. Nice for families and lake activities (nothing motorized). Would highly recommend!

You could walk to a train station for the cog wheel train to Zugspitze in about 30 mins. There were also a couple of places to eat within walking distance - near the alpspitz cable car. The lake was surprisingly warm for swimming and hiring paddleboards was very reasonable at 10 euros for 30 mins. Our children enjoyed the giant chess and curling available for free. There was also a selection of board games at reception. All in all we had a great time here and would recommend it for families.

Wow wow and wow! This place is amaaaazing!!!! From arriving in our hire car, we just knew this place and it's setting were going to be something special. A beautiful warm welcome from the girls on the front desk. Some complimentary delicious treats were offered to us on arrival! This hotel is very high on class and quality and the setting on the lakeside and amongst an amazing forest you can hike all around. The snowfall made it even more magical. The food was delicious. We ended up just eating at the hotel in the evenings because it was very reasonably priced and nice selection of menus. You can either eat in the main hotel or the seehaus where we had our wonderful room with theost breathtaking views of the mountains. Breakfast was also a highlight every morning. A fine and quality selection of cooked breakfast (bacon, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs) Porridge/Bircher/yogurts and all the cheese and meats. This place is amazing value and has a lovely older lady serving in the seehaus. she is a right character! Called me The Schnitzel man because I couldn't get enough of their elite level schnitzel hee. Would stay here again and most certainly will be back. :)

Das Hotel nimmt für sich selbst in Anspruch, ein 4-Sterne-Hotel zu sein und das schürt die o.a. Erwartungshaltung. Die Preise von deutlich mehr als 240€/Nacht unterstützen dieses noch. Positives am Hotel: - Lage - schöner Wellnesbereich/Pool - unser Zimmer war renoviert - Freundlichkeit des Personals im Restaurant Negatives: - es war durch den schwarzen Balkon (Wände/Brüstung/Dach) sehr dunkel im Zimmer - das Bad war klein und hatte „nur“ eine Badewanne. Das Duschen in der Wanne ist sehr gefährlich, weil die Badewanne keine Duschzone hat. Das Hotel ist super. Wir waren über Silvester dort. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet. Silvester Abendessen war hervorragend, einfach nur köstlich. Wir hatten 2 große Schlafzimmern und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf die Berge...einfach nur wunderschön. Die Zimmern waren sehr saueber.. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir sind begeistert 😊 Ich wünsche euch alles Gute in Zukunft...wir kommen wieder 🤗

Some amenities were not available- Finnish sauna was out of use due to construction/repair, and the restaurant is only open Wed-Sun. Paid $72 for "half pension" option for two people thinking it would be comparable to others in the area-- it was buffet and not worth the price. Also paid extra for "king" bed which was just two beds smushed together. Did not receive VIP room upgrade.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was right by the lake and we had an amazing view from our balcony across the mountains. The room itself was a family suite with two bedrooms and a separate living room. It was clean and nicely decorated with lots of space. We had half board and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Both were buffets with plenty of choice. There was always a vegetarian option for dinner and soup, a salad bar and a variety of desserts. The staff were all very friendly. Beautiful location, on lake a few minutes drive from center. Wonderful, bavarian style furnishings. Large bar with open fireplace and wonderful restaurant on 2nd floor with views. Modern room, great breakfast, friendly staff.
