Very nice hotel. I have used this hotel on many occasions and have always found it very good. However on this occasion I ended up with a room in the attic which was obviously an added floor at some point as the main lift only goes to floor 3. Then you either have to climb a spiral staircase which is not ideal carrying suitcases or alternatively walk along a corridor to another lift which will take you to the 4th floor. The main problem with the 4th floor is the very low sloping roof above the bed and relaxation chairs. It is very easy especially when getting out of bed or getting up off the chair to bang your head on the roof. Even a small person could easily do this. I think that this should be notified on the booking if you are going to be allocated one of these rooms. Also, being in the roof of the building when it is raining the rain is quite loud hitting the roof which could be a problem for a light sleeper. This is the only time I have ever been given one of these rooms in all my stays at this hotel. This is also the only reason why I have not given it a 5 star excellent rating this time as I normally do
