I did not mention the cost of this hotel to my husband before booking it as he is a bit frugal. I chose it because it was in the heart of old Oxford and had a free parking space for our rental car. I did not want to navigate the congested Oxford Streets driving on the left side of the street trying to find a parking space. We are both senior citizens with physical walking limitations. We glided into our parking space and left the car in it for our whole visit. We bought a hop on and hop off bus pass. The bus stop was right outside the Inn. We were able to visit all the major sights we wanted to see and limit our need for unnecessary walking and Ubers and taxi\'s. We had a well organized handicapped room. Not all of them are as functional as this one. We were able to walk to nearby eateries easily. We also ate in the Quod restaurant one night when it was raining and it was great. We paid to have the morning breakfasts which were outstanding. My husband was particularly impressed with them. The staff was lovely and extremely helpful with advice and offers to help with bags.If you are young healthy and on a budget this might not be the best match. But, if you are older, want to be in the middle of history, need to be careful about physical effort, and comfortable with the cost, this is an outstanding hotel experience. I confessed the cost to my husband before we left and he uncharacteristically said, "It was worth every penny."

We booked a parking space and the detailed instructions on how to find the carpark included the post code to find your way in via tiny cobbled lanes. The attention to detail continued with our parking space having my name on a board. Checking in was effortless and included a warm wrlcome. Our superior room was spacious, comfortable with views across the to the All Souls frontage. Original artworks cover the walls. The restaurant has a terrific menu with good cooking. The restaurant space is very attractive with more modern art. We were sorry to leave.

What an exceptional property! We had an amazing stay here. Staff were so attentive and did everything they could to make our stay extra special. The room was spectacularly done up and we loved the complementary Prosecco in the library. The room was big, and lots of modern features; including cafetière coffee, smart TV and much much more. The view of the colleges was also very special. The only thing we found was the room was very hot! Be prepared to open the windows.

I had a very comfortable bed & slept a very long time 11pm-9am. The room is well-furnished & the staff are most accommodating. I am disabled, so when I checked in they wanted to ensure that I could manage the steps into the bathroom. When I checked out, a staff member took my wheelie to reception whilst I got the lift.

Sadly only stayed for one night when passing through Oxford. The Old Bank Hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Great location, easy walking distance to all of the museums and historic locations. We will be staying at the Old Bank when we next come to Oxford.

The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations, and they had a reserved parking spot behind the hotel, which made it extremely convenient. Plus the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. What an exceptional property! We had an amazing stay here. Staff were so attentive and did everything they could to make our stay extra special. The room was spectacularly done up and we loved the complementary Prosecco in the library. The room was big, and lots of modern features; including cafetière coffee, smart TV and much much more. The view of the colleges was also very special. The only thing we found was the room was very hot! Be prepared to open the windows.

The hotel has a really modern, stylish feel – everything is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Our Superior Room with Terrace had lovely views over central Oxford and Broad Street, which made it feel extra special. Breakfast was good, though a little underwhelming – many pubs serve a more impressive full English. That said, it was only a minor drawback. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay: the room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was excellent, the bathroom high quality, and, above all, the service was outstanding.

I did not mention the cost of this hotel to my husband before booking it as he is a bit frugal. I chose it because it was in the heart of old Oxford and had a free parking space for our rental car. I did not want to navigate the congested Oxford Streets driving on the left side of the street trying to find a parking space. We are both senior citizens with physical walking limitations. We glided into our parking space and left the car in it for our whole visit. We bought a hop on and hop off bus pass. The bus stop was right outside the Inn. We were able to visit all the major sights we wanted to see and limit our need for unnecessary walking and Ubers and taxi\'s. We had a well organized handicapped room. Not all of them are as functional as this one. We were able to walk to nearby eateries easily. We also ate in the Quod restaurant one night when it was raining and it was great. We paid to have the morning breakfasts which were outstanding. My husband was particularly impressed with them. The staff was lovely and extremely helpful with advice and offers to help with bags.If you are young healthy and on a budget this might not be the best match. But, if you are older, want to be in the middle of history, need to be careful about physical effort, and comfortable with the cost, this is an outstanding hotel experience. I confessed the cost to my husband before we left and he uncharacteristically said, "It was worth every penny."

We stayed three nights over Christmas. Before arrival our queries were dealt with in a pleasant and efficient manner. We booked a parking space and the detailed instructions on how to find the carpark included the post code to find your way in via tiny cobbled lanes. The attention to detail continued with our parking space having my name on a board. Checking in was effortless and included a warm wrlcome. Our superior room was spacious, comfortable with views across the to the All Souls frontage. Original artworks cover the walls. The restaurant has a terrific menu with good cooking. The restaurant space is very attractive with more modern art. We were sorry to leave.

We had a wonderful stay! It was quiet, comfortable, and cozy. We had dinner at the hotel and it was terrific. Overall the room was small but the great location, the cleanliness, and the efficiency of the staff more than made up for that! Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Old Bank Hotel for several days, and I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Oxford. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of everything. What truly makes this hotel exceptional, however, is its people. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, engaging, and genuinely happy to help. A special thank you to Grace, who runs an exceptional hotel. She makes every request seem effortless and never like an inconvenience. Before we arrived, the hotel kindly accepted several parcels for us, and everything was perfectly organized. The front desk team, especially Ariel, was outstanding. Everyone was knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help with recommendations, directions, or any questions we had. The thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. The complimentary minibar water was replenished daily, the large bottles left during turndown service were a wonderful surprise, and the heated bathroom floors were a luxury we appreciated every day. Dinner at Quod was excellent. The food was delicious, and Vanessa, our server, was charming, witty, and attentive. The hostess was equally welcoming and made for a wonderful evening. The Old Bank Hotel truly understands hospitality. We highly recommend it and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Beautifully and tastefully furnished . All amenities in room worked well and were clean and super fit for purpose. The room was a delight. Fantastic hotel my only concern was there was no walk in shower only one over the bath in my room. I have stayed at the bank house 5 times over the last 2 years and have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to treat yourself
