Expensive hotel for services provided. The lobby is tiny with no area to relax. No breakfast room. The location was convenient for Lower Town in Old Quebec City and the room was comfortable. Thankfully the elevator worked as we were on the third floor. Be aware that there are a couple of steps to get into the hotel. We did find a wonderful coffee shop a couple of blocks away.

Excellent location in the heart of Quebec City. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean. However, there was a noticeable old-building smell upon entering the hotel and in the room. While breakfast wasn’t offered on-site, there’s a great buffet just a 5-minute walk away that opens early.

Il devrait y avoir une entente avec le stationnement, qui est juste de l'autre côté de la rue. Pas moyen de payer pour une heure restante, mais je dois re payer pour 24 heures :-/. Pas de petit déjeuner sur place. Ça manque.

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and had a great view of the harbor. I enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the room. It is walking distance to the heart of town, many tourist spots and restaurants and there is also a parking lot across the street which is convenient. We would stay here again.

We needed a good place to stay after our cruise and to enjoy old Quebec City. I think we achieved that. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people, and our room happened to be the smaller one which was not a huge problem (aside from watching the room tv). Furniture in the room were dated, not like in the listing picture. However, everything else was good and the staff were quite helpful. The hotel also has an elevator which helps a lot when you have luggage. Location wise, it is in the lower part of the old city. Many places to explore in the old port and along Saint Paul towards the new port and Petit Champlain. To visit the upper part of the old city is quite a hike (30+ meter elevation).

Nice hotel, well situated near the Via Train station "Gare du palais " We walked from the train station to the hotel. The rooms are very clean everything was spotless. The king bed is really comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The only small downside was that I wanted to make myself a tea and there was no kettle in the room. I asked at the reception but the one they had had already been lent to another guest. There is a coffee machine in the room but a kettle would be a nice addition. ( I still got my tea! I went to the gas station across the street to buy a cup od hot water.)

La propreté de la chambre laisse a désirée: poussière et aspirateur mal passé. Salle de bain avec des traces de main et eau sur les murs. Douche avec de la moisissure et cheveux dans le drain. Dommage car c'est la base. Par contre ce sont aussi des choses qui peuvent s'améliorer facilement avec un minimum d'effort.... mais il faut le mettre l'effort.

Staff personable and helpful, bed comfortable and clean, excellent internet connection. Unfortunately, there was a strong unpleasant odour on first entering the room which was immediately brought to the staff attention who promptly rectified while we went out.

Première fois à l’hôtel Saint-Paul. Chambre 14. Tapis extrêmement sale, usé et taché. Je n’aime pas faire de commentaires négatifs, mais si ce n’était de cela, c’est bien en général. La climatisation ne fournissait pas, mais nous sommes en pleine canicule.

Really big room with brick focal wall. Very quiet. Very clean. Loved that they had a regular sized elevator when many other properties had no elevator. Gteat bed. Towels and beddi.g very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel for the price. Amazing location. Will stay here again assuming the price point remains competitive. Great experience. I will say we only stayed one night, if staying longer id probably wish the TV was a bit more modern and bring a laptop. No way to get Netflix or pay per view. Very limited channels so couldn’t even dial on a cheesy cable tv movie at the end of a long day. Not a big deal though. So many positives.

Excellent hotel and room. Great location for walking to Old Town. Bed was a bit squeaky, but otherwise great. Big problem was the inability to cool the room down. Much too warm. And windows were permanently shut, so we weren’t able to cool it down that way. The heat would probably keep me from staying there again, but my husband wasn’t as affected as I was.

Wonderful gentleman that looked after us when we went very early to the hotel…told us the room was ready and we could check in right away even thou check-in was to be at 3! It probably was only 11 in the morning! We were extremely pleased!

Isabelle, the concierge was so welcoming and friendly and suggested I upgrade to the superior room with the fireplace which was definitely worth it. The hotel is located very close to Rue de Petit Champlain and access to the upper city so easy to walk around. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and i will definitely stay again the next time i visit Quebec City.

Great location. Friendly staff. Check-in area very small and extremely busy during check-in time. Waited in line 30min to check-in with one receptionist. But overall would stay again. Lovely property.

We arrived around 7:30 pm ( not late at all)And the check in agent’s computer had timed out and she was unable to log in. We waited a long time and finally they just gave us a room and went down to give them a credit card later. We asked for a 20 min late checkout the next day and we’re told absolutely not.

Personnel impatient, nous leur avons demandé de rester une heure de plus et ils nous ont refusé bêtement et froidement…. Je suis agent de voyage et c’est la première fois en 11 ans que j’ai assisté à une telle rigidité et un service client absent de la sorte … Je ne le recommanderais certainement pas

What a wonderful hotel with an attentive and helpful staff. I had left my phone in a cab, it was late and they were almost done with their day. They immediately got on the phone with the cab company and saved the day! I will stay here anytime I find myself in Quebec City.

Bel endroit, propre et au goût du jour. Rien à redire. La seule chose, c’est le robot (le commis) à la réception, qui agit sans émotion. Les employés du Mcdo ont de plus belles façons. Faudrait revoir l’accueil, ou lui expliquer les politesses du service à la clientèle, qui inclut le sourire. Sinon, c’était parfait.

Our room was clean and neat. The staff was excellent. All were helpful and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage in their back room even though we arrived before check in, and stayed in town beyond check out. Another plus was the free parking practically across the street.
Our room was clean and neat. The staff was excellent. All were helpful and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage in their back room even though we arrived before check in, and stayed in town beyond check out. Another plus was the free parking practically across the street.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff who spoke French and English which was very convenient for us. We were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out which was a great benefit!! The luggage was in our room when we arrived later which was very much appreciated and a nice touch! The room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable! Lovely shower with everything you would need! A big bathtub if you are inclined! I would definitely recommend this hotel and the location from the Cruiseport was very convenient as well!

Nice hotel, well situated near the Via Train station "Gare du palais " We walked from the train station to the hotel. The rooms are very clean everything was spotless. The king bed is really comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The only small downside was that I wanted to make myself a tea and there was no kettle in the room. I asked at the reception but the one they had had already been lent to another guest. There is a coffee machine in the room but a kettle would be a nice addition. ( I still got my tea! I went to the gas station across the street to buy a cup od hot water.)

The property was conveniently located to the Quebec village, Le Place Royale, shops & restaurants. Everything walkable no need for rental car. Walkable to Hotel Frontenac and boardwalk plus view of waterfront. Lovely stay overall.

This hotel is quaint and perfect for a stay in Quebec City. It is close the waterfront and Old City is very walkable from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the manager was extremely helpful, even delivering bags to room of customers needing assistance.We rooms were very clean and provided good lighting, refrigerator, wood type floors, and bath essentials. We enjoyed our stay and would reccomend this nice property.

Convenient location for people that want to be close to the cruise terminal, the train station and the old part of Quebec City. We walked everywhere, even with our carry-on sometimes. The room was modern and comfortable, and there's a great restaurant right downstairs.

This place was much nicer than expected. It was right across from the Port. The room and shower were excellent and exactly what was indicated on the Expedia site. The air conditioning was central, and the room was quite comfortable.

Expensive hotel for services provided. The lobby is tiny with no area to relax. No breakfast room. The location was convenient for Lower Town in Old Quebec City and the room was comfortable. Thankfully the elevator worked as we were on the third floor. Be aware that there are a couple of steps to get into the hotel. We did find a wonderful coffee shop a couple of blocks away.

Cute hotel that is close to many parts of Old Quebec. Can walk 15 minutes in various directions and access tourist activities and attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant in the bottom of the hotel offers delicious foods.

Excellent location in the heart of Quebec City. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean. However, there was a noticeable old-building smell upon entering the hotel and in the room. While breakfast wasn’t offered on-site, there’s a great buffet just a 5-minute walk away that opens early.

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and had a great view of the harbor. I enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the room. It is walking distance to the heart of town, many tourist spots and restaurants and there is also a parking lot across the street which is convenient. We would stay here again.

We needed a good place to stay after our cruise and to enjoy old Quebec City. I think we achieved that. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people, and our room happened to be the smaller one which was not a huge problem (aside from watching the room tv). Furniture in the room were dated, not like in the listing picture. However, everything else was good and the staff were quite helpful. The hotel also has an elevator which helps a lot when you have luggage. Location wise, it is in the lower part of the old city. Many places to explore in the old port and along Saint Paul towards the new port and Petit Champlain. To visit the upper part of the old city is quite a hike (30+ meter elevation).

Room for one night was decent. Had trouble getting the air working during the night so the room was a bit warm. It was working when we got there. Turned back on early in the morning. Thermostat was in the room, but we didn’t seem to control it. Bed was a bit hard, but the room was clean. Close to train which why we picked it for that night.
