The stairs to the room were very small and carrying luggage up them was precarious to say the least. The room was very small and on closer inspection was quite dirty. The smoke detector had an old sock on it and the main fuse on the wall for the extractor had tape to keep it in. The fan that was provided was covered in dirt and one of the beds appeared to have a faeces stain. The shower was extremely cramped and the water would go from cold to boiling then back to cold within seconds. I left it running to see if the temperature would settle but to my dismay all that did was bring up bodily fluids from the drain hole. The beds were comfortable enough but the place was terrible.

Positives: bed linen was clean and nicely presented, breakfast was well cooked and good ingredients, filter coffee was good. Negatives: no wardrobe or hanging space, toilet/wet room was tiny (1m2), sink plumbing leaked, unnecessary kitchen sink in room(?) and general decor was poor.
