Excellent location-just cross the street and you are at Copacabana. Modern-looking rooms, new windows (you can't hear the noise), good service, excellent service. Cons: not a good experience with restaurant in the evening; rooftop pool is very small.

Lobby personeel heel aardig. Bij het ontbijt doen de dames alsof ze nog wat slaap nodig hebben, geen fijne ervaring. De heren daarentegen waren aardig. Rooftop prima, zwembad klein, kan je beter een bubbelbad van maken. Kamer ok.

Liked that there is a huge variety of food to try out that’s walking distance. Only down side was that when we went the pool , fitness center was closed. Also the tv would lose signal to the English channels, but other then that it’s a great spot.

All the amenities (pool, gym, terrace, rooftop bar etc.) were shut down for renovation for the whole month but they didn't mention this in the website, so people had no idea that all amenities were shut down while making reservation.

This hotel is ideally located on Copacabana beach. It is modern in design. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were no iron or ironing boards! This was a complete surprise as despite being a seasoned traveller, I have never come across this, certainly not in a hotel of this calibre. Also, in the room, the coffee facilities were there, but the pods were chargeable! When you are paying to stay in a suite, I would have expected them to be free.

Wir mussten am Ankunftstag das Zimmer wechseln, da es in dem Zimmer total modrig gerochen hat. Wir haben dann ein Zimmer weiter oben erhalten das ganz okay war. Leider ist der Aufzug so laut, dass man denkt, ein Zug bremst neben dem Bett. Zudem ist auch die Klimaanlage. Obwohl sie ausgeschalten ist sehr laut. Wenn man die Klimaanlage einschaltet, stinkt es sehr modrig und nach alten Wasser. Leider sind auch die Hotelgäste sehr laut und hauen in der Nacht die Türen zu. Ich persönlich würde das Hotel nicht noch mal buchen würde es jetzt auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt, da ist genau in der Copacabana liegt

Overall, I had a great stay. Despite having a view of the beach from my room and being next to an elevator, my room was quiet at night and I slept well. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was they didn’t clean my room a couple of days during the day but they quickly cleaned it when I brought this to their attention. I’d stay again.

Lugar sujo. Ao entrar no quarto, tive quebsair por que usaram umbproduto de limpeza fedorento e EXTREMAMENTE forte. Em q minuto la denteo, com a janela aberta e ar condicionado ligado....minha garganta começou à incomodar . Falei com a recepcao e ele disse que ia ver obque poderia ser feito e que nao tinha outro apartamento para me oferecer. Foi uma noite super dificil. Dormi com a janela aberta e o barulho era muito alto. Fiquei no terceiro andar. Voltei horas depois e o cheiro continuava forte. Nao sei se algo foi feito. Muitos fios de cabelos no chão e tinha na cama também. Roupa de cama e de banho super velho. As toalhas era de dar nojo e parecia lixa...sem falar do cheiro fortissimo de agua sanitária nelas. Depois desta teiate experiencia, só reservo hotel por apenas 1 noite. Se o hotel for bom, eu fico ...se for ruim, eu arranjo outro lugar. Foi triste por que ja me hospedei no Arena Leme e foi uma experiencia maravilhosa...so que desta vez, eu quis ficar em Copacabana. Arena Copacabana, nunca mais.

Great location. Ok, so this property is not the Four Seasons, but it is in a great location. The windows are floor to ceiling. I had a corner room with an amazing view, but extended a few days and had to move - the view was still good. A/C is not perfect. Breakfast buffet was very good. Restaurant for dinner was spotty with some dishes good, and others just barely average. Rooftop terrace has amazing views of Copacabana. I would stay here again. Staff was very nice and helpful. Many restaurants in the area, and a grocery store one street away.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, if a little basic in some places. The roof area was nice and clean and had great views of the Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer. If the rooms end in 01 to 04 then you have a restricted view of the ocean. Rooms 05 to 09 have sea views. Rooms ending with 10 or 11 face internally into the building. We were unfortunate to be in room 1311 which is next to the elevator and the lifting mechanism so our room was quite noisy from early in the morning which has affected the rating given.

La propiedad es buena , pena que las chicas de recepción no sepan sonreír o les agraden los turistas , venia yo de hospedarme en el porto bay y vaya que se sintió la diferencia con el personal, no todos pero las dos chicas de mostrador y el chico , dios mío , parecía que nos odiaban ,una pena realmente por que la instalación es buena , hay agua caliente y la habitación es cómoda , el check in es a las 2 y nos dieron el cuarto 2:20 por que no estaba listo , pero de verdad cambien a los chicos de recepción por unos que no odien su trabajo ni a los turistas .

We are from Australia and we were impressed that all the staff spoke English. The location was amazing and so were the views from the rooftop bar. There was a small gym and pool which we used and we were also able to run along the beach due to the hotel's close proximity. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast had lots of options and the restaurant overlooked the beach. We hope to return! Highly recommend!
We are from Australia and we were impressed that all the staff spoke English. The location was amazing and so were the views from the rooftop bar. There was a small gym and pool which we used and we were also able to run along the beach due to the hotel's close proximity. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast had lots of options and the restaurant overlooked the beach. We hope to return! Highly recommend!

We received excellent customer service from Lopes At the reception. He is so knowledgeable, outgoing yet professional at all times which is a huge + for me and obviously passionate about his job. It was clear he had a great amount of pride being one of the faces of his company. Iran was also very thoughtful to us and always had this wonderful smile and demeanor on his face. Michelet was our server at breakfast during our 5 nights stay at Arena Copacabana. He was very courteous, warm, attentive and we loved how he could provide us with outstanding service using his French and English speaking skills. The hotel is right across the beach, you just have to cross the road. The view from our room 806 was offering us a beautiful ocean view. The shower water is running great and we had very hot water. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The check-in was terrible...had to wait at least 1 hour and they didn't even talk to us for at least 10min, totally ignored us. After all that they did give us a drink as apololgy which made it even worse because this drink was guess what : water !

A lovely and very well kept hotel right on coppocana beach. The view from the top two floors is incredible as was the absolutely awesome breakfast that was included with my stay everyvery day. Although everyone was warm and welcoming 3 folks, especially stand out. Nancy, when she did her best to make sure I could be comfortable after I arrived very early at the hotel, Ronan, again front desk seemed able to err, insert every question I threw at him from a great place for dinner to getting a sim card and finally tall gentleman who works at the bar area upstairs by the pool, who grabbed 3 towels and escorted me to a lounge chair on the top deck so I could gab a nap after flying for 27 hours. I wish I could remember his name.

My friend and I, both educators, enjoyed our spring break in Rio at this prime location. Lopes provided great dinner suggestions, and the check-in process was smooth thanks to the cordial young lady who even gave us a key for the hotel restroom. Linhares was exceptional, securing our bags and assisting with directions. William at the bar and breakfast restaurant provided outstanding hospitality, making delicious caipirinhas and even bringing us towels when we dozed off. The breakfast staff were friendly, and the food was varied and tasty. Our room had stunning views of Copacabana, and although there were no balconies, the window allowed for fresh air. We always felt safe, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to explore. Overall, it was one of our most pleasant hotel stays, and we will definitely return!

The location is amazing, few meters from the Copacabana beach. We got lucky to get a room with views of the beach and Christ the redeemer. The staff were helpful and the breakfast tasty. They have great caipirinhas. The swimming pool is on the roof top and provides perfect spots for pictures.

La ubicación en playa Copacabana es muy céntrica, la playa está enfrente y para los tours no hay problema. El hotel muy limpio, las habitaciones muy cómodas, el personal amable. El roofgarden con vista muy agradable a la playa, se ve también el pan de azúcar y el Cristo, alberca no la usé porque el agua estaba fría para mi. Me gustó que por cumpleaños dejaron un detalle en la habitación y también me gustó la parte de el desayuno con tematica por hallowen. Quizá el único pero que veo es que nuestra llave de regadera tenía dificultad en la regulación de temperatura.

We had a wonderful stay in Arena Hotel. Great location, just across Copacabana Beach. Has a beautiful view of the Copacabana beach from the rooftop of the hotel where the swimming pool is located too. The room is clean and spacious. Has fridge, T.V. With Portuguese and English channels. Bathroom is good size, clean with toiletries. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and has a quite variety of food. Just disappointed with hotel’s restaurant Otaviano. I ordered my favourite dish Paella but It took 1 hour to serve it. I’m diabetic and almost had hypoglycaemia. It’s not that they were busy. There were only two tables occupied for the entire restaurant at that time. There’s no reason it took that long to serve the food. This is totally unacceptable. Otherwise our stay in Arena hotel was great. We will definitely be back in this hotel but not in the restaurant.

I thought the Pool was a little to small. The staff was friendly but had no sense of urgency. It didn't appear busy, but it took 20-30 minutes to get a Moscow mule and a coke. On our last day we actually left and went to another restaurant outside the hotel. Other than that it was excellent, from the staff, concierge and the cleanliness. If recommend this place to anyone

Great location, wonderful staff. Staff make sure you are well taken care of. Food, including the free breakfast was outstanding. The 14th floor bar/pool was incredible with sick views of the beach and the Redeemer. Security always on staff. My only complaint was the gym which is just bigger than a closet. All in all, a great place to stay
