Worst experience ever. Run away from this hotel. Entering in the hotel, the couch at the lobby is ripped and totally dirty, there was a dead cockroach on the floor. Arriving in the room I noticed a strong smell of mold and there was black mold on the room wall. I went to the reception to cancel my stay and all they could do was offering me another room. I tryed a room without carpet an noticed dust in the furniture and cockroaches in the washroom. The towels were very old and ripped. Shower drain was clogged and I has to shut the shower down so the water could go down. My kids weren't brave enough to enter in the murky water from the swimming pool. I can't give my opinion about the breakfast because I didn't want to take a chance. If we have cockroaches everywhere, imagine where the food is. No thanks. Outside the hotel the neighborhood is not safe. That's my sincere review, I hope it helps you before choosing this hotel. I paid for 3 nights and I left in the first one.

Absolutely horrible introduction to the hospitality of Brazil. The hotel says they have employees who speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese but that is not true. Only Portuguese. The staff was not helpful even trying to understand. While the hotel does offer breakfast, we tried it one day and kept finding eggshells. We thought maybe just an error that day. Nope we tried again and still more egg shells. Lastly, I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure we found a few bed bugs. Also, while I understand it’s a tropical area and bugs are common, there was a bug that looked like a cockroach in the lobby for 3 days before it was finally removed. This definitely had me questioning their cleanliness. We stayed here because the reviews said it was good spot but it absolutely was a horrible experience. Coming back from vacation we are setting a game plan to make sure we didn’t carry any home with us. Do NOT book this hotel! I hope this helps avoid anyone else from having a horrible experience as we did.

Old and tired property. Noisy rooms with paper-thin walls. The neighbors have a conversation, you will here it all and it will wake you up. Very basic breakfast with egg shells in the scrambled eggs. Not very helpful staff. Bottomline, will never go there again.

I highly highly recommend this Place. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The area felt very safe and peaceful which made the stay even better. Everything was well taken care of and you can tell the host truly cares about their guests experience!! Would definitely stay here again!
