We stayed a week for our marriage. A very weird hotel experience. Good: room, pool and garden, price, security. Bad: no night clerk, worst communications humanly possible, no restaurant, falsely advertise in-house spa and hotel shuttle service, location.

Stayed for the jacuzzi in the room and hot tub outside, neither one had hot water so we didn’t get to use the amenities we stayed for! A nice place but they have some things to work on!

This hotel is was a great experience. Very large and great for the price. Had a stove, refrigerator and washer/dryer. 2 separate bedrooms made our first night even more comfortable. Gated hotel for extra safety.

The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again .

It was nice. A bit expensive but decent. Outdoor areas were beautiful. Inside the apartment we found broken glass and dirty window sills. It was dated but very comfortable.

Das einzig positive ist der Parkplatz. Sonst ist es alt und die Ausstattung ist miserabel. Die meisten Dinge funktionieren nicht wirklich (z.B.: Safe oder die Dusche) - es gab Schimmel im Bad und generell wirkt die Innenausstattung wie 50 Jahre alt.

Das einzig positive ist der Parkplatz. Sonst ist es alt und die Ausstattung ist miserabel. Die meisten Dinge funktionieren nicht wirklich (z.B.: Safe oder die Dusche) - es gab Schimmel im Bad und generell wirkt die Innenausstattung wie 50 Jahre alt.

My stay here was very short. We intended to stay for the week, but our minds changed after we arrived. The property is a bit dated. The rooms appeared clean. I could not sleep because you can hear the traffic outside and dogs barking through the night. The bathroom was very small and had mold in the grooves and ants. I made the staff aware. I was also told not to walk around at night because it was not safe. The staff were fine, but my family and I could not rest at ease so we checked out after only one night. I requested a refund for the nights that I didn’t stay, I’m still waiting.

I’ve stayed here several times. The room was great but the location this time was near the road and was noisy. The previous times the room wasn’t close to the road. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Those are the most important things to me. Great price.

The hotel does not look at all as advertised. It is very worn down. There were roaches crawling around in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room area. When I finally told the management I was told they could move me to another room. At that point if you have roaches in one room, surely they are in another so I declined. Pests like roaches are very unsanitary and should not be in a hotel. Then they declined my request for a refund even though I checked out early because I didn’t want to be in a hotel with roaches. Worse experience ever.

I was very unhappy with this property. The pictures are not a true representation of at all. It’s very run down and dated. My receipt from Expedia said my airport transportation was included, but when I called to set it up they arranged a taxi that I had to pay for. I had no wi-fi for my entire stay, when I asked about it I was told it was down and being repaired. I was there 4 days, it should’ve been repaired in that time. Hot water would run out in the shower in less than 4 minutes. The door into my room looked like someone had tried to break in at one point, very poor effort to repair. I will say the staff was friendly, it’s just none of the issues were addressed. I would never stay at this property again.

The 2 bedroom with a fully functional kitchen was very spacious. However, the property is old and need some renovation. Dining and shopping are very limited and I had to drive 10 km to Multi Plaza in Escazu It is a perfect place for 1 or 2 nights and you are on a budget.

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I’ve stayed at Casa Conde many times before, so I was looking forward to my stay. My family came from NYC to attend a funeral. This time the property looked like it was abandoned. There was only one person there that I saw. It seemed he served as the entire staff. I was only given 2 bath towels instead of 4, and no hand towels or washcloths. When I asked for washcloths, I was told I would have to wait because he had to get them from the laundry. It took so long, I decided to go to the front desk. That’s when he told me he had no washcloths. He would have to wash some and get back to us. When the washcloths and extra towels arrived they were dingy, old white ones that I was afraid to use. It rained that night and there was water dripping from the AC unit. I called the front desk. When he arrived he proceeded to mop it up. The water continued to pour in. I asked for room change, but he offered me a room in a building that was unoccupied. I was stuck because we came for a funeral and that was the night of the viewing. I took my two younger children and bunked at a friend’s place. My oldest son stayed in the room because we had no more space at a friend’s house. Overall, this experience was awful compared to all my other times there. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Far away from anything. No staff on nights. Suite was a little run down and not clean. Limited and unknown restaurant hours. Staff not the most accommodating when you could find someone. Will not stay there again. Would not recommend.

Not so good. Check in was expedient and friendly. But room was dirty, missing items (toilet paper), Gated security at hotel but area around the hotel is not very safe.

The 2 bedroom with a fully functional kitchen was very spacious. However, the property is old and need some renovation. Dining and shopping are very limited and I had to drive 10 km to Multi Plaza in Escazu It is a perfect place for 1 or 2 nights and you are on a budget.

The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again .

Far away from anything. No staff on nights. Suite was a little run down and not clean. Limited and unknown restaurant hours. Staff not the most accommodating when you could find someone. Will not stay there again. Would not recommend.

A very safe place with a friendly staff. Not the best location to walk around for sight seeing or food if you have never been to Costa Rica, but if you are looking for a easy stay within San Jose this is a great place to be.

Het is een Fantastisch Apartotel en zeer goed Beveiligd, heel erg Schoon en Groen. Er is maar één Klein Min Puntje, het Ontbijt. Maar gelukkig hebt je bijna alles wat je nodig heb om je eigen Ontbijt klaar te maken of of kan je buiten de deur gaan ontbijten. Ik geeft hem zeker een 9 als Rapport Cijfer.

I liked the grounds, the staff, most things about Casa Conde were likable. Sauna, etc The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with anything. I DID NOT LIKE the lack of breakfast like they used to have. There is no excuse for that. The pandemic is OVER. Something to eat was provided, but nothing hot or cooked. From out of a package. Coffee was excellent and usually available

The pool is lovely and the coffee machine is excellent, but they no longer have the wonderful buffet breakfast they had prior to the pandemic. The bathtub and shower are in need of an update. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

2 Bedrooms w kitchen??? Yeah Right! Not even a towel to dry dishes. Room for 4 but only 2 towels, 2 plates, 2 forks, No salt/pepper. No coffee filters. Ants everywhere. Luke warm water only in shower. Ice cold in kitchen and washer. Breakfast to order advertised but only a coffee machine and a sign that says take 2 cookies only. I asked for a receipt. They told me I had to call Expedia for a receipt. "Out of business" sign coming soon.

We stayed a week for our marriage. A very weird hotel experience. Good: room, pool and garden, price, security. Bad: no night clerk, worst communications humanly possible, no restaurant, falsely advertise in-house spa and hotel shuttle service, location.

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I’ve stayed at Casa Conde many times before, so I was looking forward to my stay. My family came from NYC to attend a funeral. This time the property looked like it was abandoned. There was only one person there that I saw. It seemed he served as the entire staff. I was only given 2 bath towels instead of 4, and no hand towels or washcloths. When I asked for washcloths, I was told I would have to wait because he had to get them from the laundry. It took so long, I decided to go to the front desk. That’s when he told me he had no washcloths. He would have to wash some and get back to us. When the washcloths and extra towels arrived they were dingy, old white ones that I was afraid to use. It rained that night and there was water dripping from the AC unit. I called the front desk. When he arrived he proceeded to mop it up. The water continued to pour in. I asked for room change, but he offered me a room in a building that was unoccupied. I was stuck because we came for a funeral and that was the night of the viewing. I took my two younger children and bunked at a friend’s place. My oldest son stayed in the room because we had no more space at a friend’s house. Overall, this experience was awful compared to all my other times there. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
