Mantra Mooloolaba Beach

Facilitates such as the pool were great. Location was brilliant. I would suggest Mantra makes sure third party Wotif honours it's shop back commitment. We book through Shopback to receive cashback from Wotif, although they failed to honour it. I attempted to file a missing cashback although it was unavailable. Wotif is not doing the best they can to support people booking the Mantra through them. Feel ripped off.

Location excellent, shame outdoor pool area closed. Generally it was OK

Property location was great (above supermarket and across the road from beach and park) and the apartment was clean and tidy. Was disappointed that the spa was broken and there was no communication before our stay that the indoor pool would be out of action for a period of time. We had a young child and was a little surprised that the huge tv wasn’t anchored to the wall, which was a bit of a hazard. Other than the above we were happy with our stay and would be back again. Loved the property, close to shops, cafes and the beach. A little disappointed that we weren’t told prior that the pool was out of action.

Hardly our first stay at Mantra Mooloolaba - probably our fourth time there. We keep coming back for the stunning ocean views, the spa bath and the convenience of having dozes of restaurants, bars and cafes a lift ride away. Pools, sauna and gym are fabulous too. Rooms starting to look a bit dated, but more than made up for with good value rates vs the rest of the esplanade.

Best place to stay at Mooloolaba - indoor heated pool, near restaurants and shopping and friendly staff who go the extra mile. Will be back!!

One lift not working. Reports from staff advised lift not working since before Christmas

Wasn’t informed pool was closed. Really disappointed as was why I booked it for the pool and spa

Perfect location, with easy access to the beach, shops, Coles and only a short walk from the aquarium. There is no need to move your car once you have parked it securely in the underground car park. The indoor pool was well used. The outdoor pool could benefit from solar heating. It can get a bit noisy down the main drag with car enthusiasts out to impress. We will be back as this is the perfect location to holiday.

Clean rooms, staff

Hotel itself was wonderful, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was quite dusty, mainly on and around the windows & bedside tables.

Apartment was spotless had all the amenities, staff were very knowledgeable and were very helpful had a decent balcony and sea view...we had a great time here.

Dated air conditioning. Quite noisy. Worked to cool the room. Found rubbish on floor on entry so not thoroughly cleaned. Cleaners left door wedged wide open accidentally before being reported by hotel staff approximately an hour later. Hotel apologetic but leaves one wondering about staff protocols and training. View to ocean but restricted sunrise viewing due to other hotels in viewing path. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, spacious and bright.

Very clean, with a good size balcony. Easy access to the main shopping strip below.

If you are going to charge full freight on your rooms, they should at least be clean

wearing no shoes inside all afternoon and night til 9pm I ended up with black soles of my feet suggest carpet and tiles need a goo clean

The property needs a renovation. At a minute mum a good clean - it was caked in dust and spider webs.

Little bit dated. Spa bath had random brown stains in it so I was not putting my sheriff's badge anywhere near that! Good location. Plenty of eateries, supermarket and pub all within very close walking distance. Pool area was nice but our balconey overlooked the street so no beach views. Overall the room was good. Would probably stay again.

Big dollars for a room too close to a noisy intersection.

Rooms are a bit dated now and it shows. I have been coming here for over 10 years and nothing has changed or been updated. The TV is about 15 years old and tiny with no smart features or ability to stream to it which is pretty standard these days.

Rooms are always good and clean. Wifi is still a problem.

On site wifi in room- hopeless Reception and service staff- excellent Rooms well furnished and comfortable a/c in overdrive- loud External light from nearby shopping / street reflects into units-Block out curtains in bedroom

Our ocean view room was on the 2nd floor where u could hardly see anything. If you stay here definatly ask them about what floor you are staying on. The shower had basically no water pressure which was a bit frustrating. Also the room layout was a bit wierd with the main bedroom immediately inside the front door. You could hear everything happening in guests rooms walking down the hallway

Overall good. The horrible part was the check in process. They set me up in a high floor and incredible view but did not tell anyone nor importantly me about the renovations. Right above me they were drilling tile. Yes immediately above my floor. I understand it needs to get done and the front office manager was blaming the ownership but it is still your responsibility to inform the in coming guests, where the noise is happening, not to tell the guests to take a walk on the beach for three hours until they finish especially;;y when I am staying in excess of 10 plus days, and be responsible in getting back with the guests that you so rudely set up in a room with a ton of noise on purpose too. Your management team needs to learn the responsibility of basic communication. Aside from this poor and horrible episode the hotel is great - clean room, friendly staff, incredible and walkable location, supermarket next door to the hotel, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and stove. Stop blaming ownership and should be proud that they are renovating the hotel so you may be successful in the future. Be responsible and pro[early communicate with the guests. You will be surprised how much more appreciative they will be.

Clean was very clean, beach is less than 500 meters away, staff were so accommodating and absolutely amazing

Fabulous position, very comfortable, friendly staff

On arriving and every subsequent return to the Mantra the Reception staff were oblivious to our existence. Maybe hospitality should not be their chosen profession.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very professional and polite.

One staff member on check in was really rude and I refused to deal with her again. The rest of the staff were wonderful. Her name is Vanessa.

Great stay. Front desk staff is amazing, kind, and helpful. I will be back.

Beautiful views, staff always very helpful

This is our second stay at Mantra Mooloolaba but this time we were slightly disappointed. I thought I had booked the same type of room as last time (ocean superior)for the start of our stay upgrading to 3 bed after 4 days. but apparently I had not booked the superior room. The difference between ocean view and ocean view superior is no fixed cook top in kitchen a tiny fridge and no dishwasher. The manager was amazing and did end up shifting us to the bigger room we had booked earlier. This was not our major concern though what annoyed us was that the indoor pool was out of action for a week of our stay and this was one of the main reason we had booked mantra. We has no notification of this. The website stated there was renovations to the front building but no mention of the pool. To top it off the spa pool also broke down and was not heating and it rained most of the time so a warm spa or swim in indoor pool would have been lovely. Management didn’t even offer to reduce the charge for the one night upgrade, for the inconvenience of the pool being out of action. Although this annoyed us it would not stop me staying again as this hotel is very central and the option of the indoor and outdoor pool are great (when working),

Perfect location for cafes and beach area

Really nice hotel only downside was noisey boy racers.

This is a fantastic condo style hotel just across the street from the ocean. There is a grocery store and a bottle shop located just behind the property. The ocean view rooms have fantastic views. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops just in front of the hotel.

The room was really cold with the air con on and you couldn’t adjust the temperature. There was poor lighting, in the bathroom and bedroom, it was too soft. The verandahs are tiny as well. The position of the resort is great, close to all the shops, restaurants and very close to the beach. The western side of the building is on Venning Street which is very busy and noisy. I’d give this place a 4 star rating.

It was quite and was in a perfect location

Our room was clean on arrival and we had a smooth and fast check in. The location was perfect for all the restaurants and shops. Everything was walkable. Beautiful ocean view also.
