Das Hotel ist ganz schön. Mitten in der Stadt. Das Parkhaus ist teuer mit 18 € die Nacht und auch sehr eng. Parken ist schwierig. Frühstück war gut. Zimmergröße für 4 Personen war sehr gut. Leider keine Möglichkeit zum Trocknen der Schwimmsachen nach dem Pool. Der Pool ist klein, aber für eine kleine Abkühlung ausreichend. Die Sauna war gut.

Overall nice. The parking garage is about standrad for a European city - i.e. very small spaces, extremely tight turns at places. It was a challenge fitting our XC90 in, but it was able to fit (barely.)

Die Lobby war echt Fancy und auch schön eingerichtet. Jedoch wenn man aus dem lift kommt richt es im Flur schon nach Urin. Die Zimmer sind auch extrem veraltet und nur mässig sauber (überal flecken auf dem Teppich). Den Nachbarn kann man in der Nacht auch Schnarchen hören, ist also nicht wirklich gut isoliert. Da hätte man besser die Zimmer erneuert und nicht die Lobby. Frühstück könnte man auch etwas updaten, frisch geschnittene Früchte oder Kuchen etc. wären wünschenswert, da es sonst sehr viel "salzige" auswahl hat. Wasser im Pool war leider auch nicht so warm. Preis leistung ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, persöndlich würde ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Nur Lobby und Restaurant sind modern und entsprechen einem guten 4 Sterne-Standard. Zimmer, Teppichböden und Flure sind abgewohnt und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Das Parkhaus ist eng und alt.

Had to change rooms upon check-in, due to dirty bathroom. Alina was super sweet to pick more rooms for me to see, she went above and beyond in service! The carpet has stains, but oh well. The room was in need to upgrades, which we found out at check out they hopefully will be doing in 2023. Like no carpet! Breakfast was very good with an omelette station on weekdays. The A/C was good because it was HOT in August. Busy place. Location was great for the weinfest and we will return! Parking connected to the hotel which I love. Beautiful lobby area and enclosed terrace area could use more plants. It's our 4th Mecure hotel to stay at.

Die Umgebung und der Bereich um die Lobby und die Bar versprechen modernes und sehr gepflegtes Interieur. Leider... Und wirklich schrecklicher Weise leider sind die Stockwerke mit den Zimmern eher heruntergekommen. Ein abgestandener Duft steigt einem beim Aussteigen aus dem Aufzug in die Nase und man blickt auf einen vollkommen ausgetretenen Teppich, der nur noch durch die Tristesse der Farbgestaltung übertroffen wird. Endlose fensterlose Gänge später betritt man sein Zimmer und ich durfte zunächst von einem schimmligen Duft begrüßt werden - Gott sei Dank lassen sich die Fenster öffnen! Danach lässt man seinen Blick über das Mobiliar streifen und entdeckt überall aufgequollenes uraltes Hochglanzfurnier, abgeplatzte Ecken und eine Vielzahl an Flecken auf den Polstermöbeln und dem Teppich. Ein Blick ins Bad und man trifft auf wackelige Armaturen mit Rost- und Kalkflecken. Es dauerte einen Moment bis ich dann auch den Grund für den Duft feststellen durfte - schwarzer Schimmel an der Decke, offensichtlich schon mehrfach weggewischt und doch nie die Ursache behoben (der Lüfter ist defekt) und so bleibt die Feuchtigkeit selbstverständlich in diesem fensterlosen Raum stehen... Ich bemängelte und konnte leider erst am nächsten Tag das Zimmer wechseln - man schien die Problematik zu kennen und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Ich durfte mir dann zwei unterschiedliche Zimmer ansehen und muss sagen: der Zustand ist identisch, aber ohne Schimmel - besser wird's nicht.

Das Hotel punktet absolut mit seiner zentralen Lage und den Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Eingangsbereich wirkt einladend und das Personal ist freundlich. Die Flure und Zimmer waren sehr verwohnt und müssen unbedingt renoviert werden ! Das Frühstück war sehr ansprechend und ausreichend. Tolle Frühstückszeiten für Langschläfer :-)

Une Hall d'entrée magnifique et moderne. Petit déjeuner super avec beaucoup de choix. Chambre très spacieuse. TV petit pour la grande chambre. Les salles de bains manque d'une rénovation moderne, comme douche au lieu de baignoire.... Les lits très confortable, mais il manquait un petit touche deco.,sur le lit.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Leider ist es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badezimmer sind mit Badewannen ausgestattet. Leider sehr eng und altmodisch. Es waren auch nur zwei Fahrstühle in Betrieb, so dass es am Wochenende sehr lange gedauert hat, hoch und runterzufahren. Die Treppe durfte nicht genutzt werden. Zudem war die Schranke der Tiefgarage defekt!
Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Leider ist es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badezimmer sind mit Badewannen ausgestattet. Leider sehr eng und altmodisch. WiFi war wie schon gemeldet nicht funktionsfähig, was mir erheblich gestört hat. Ist vielleicht eine Stofftasche mit einem Elektrorasierer gefunden worden? Ich habe nach meiner Rückkehr festgestellt, dass mir eine fehlt (Gutbrod.max@gmail.com).

We stayed here together with our children. Although requested before hand and also at the note upon check-in the baby cot that was eventually placed was not in good working condition. We specifically chose this hotel because of the pool only to find out that on the day we arrived it was closed for most of the afternoon for swimming lessons. Something like this should be mentioned somewhere when booking. The staff was not very friendly and even the manager at reception responded in very short and abrupt ways. In fact, he also had no problem having an open argument with one of his staff when we stood at reception. He did end up taking the discussion to his office. Overall not very professional, happy and welcoming. No bathrobes although we asked for them repeatedly and a very cold and unwelcoming space. Given the other options we won’t be back!

Rude untrained staff at front desk. Rèfused to call manager saying there was none. Later admit t1here is a supervisor but seemed rekuctant to call. Refused to explain problem clearly. Edit: I find your attitude offensive. I gave an honest review and you won't publish it. Then so be it. But i probably wont use your services again. Other booking services exist.

purer Komfort, sehr sehr sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück, leider war der Schwimmpool nur bis 23:00 Uhr offen. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und gut zu Fuß vom Bahnhof aus erreichbar. Alternativ kann man auch ein paar Stationen mit dem Bus fahren. Das Hotel hat außerdem eine Tiefgarage. Der Marktplatz ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und professionell.

First of all, let me clarify that our overall rating is not on the hotel side that was correct but the restaurant of the hotel. Unfortunately it is part of the experience and it is affecting our feelings about Mercure Hotel offer and services. I cooled down but the experience with the restaurant was just insulting. First, if you do expect a vegan option not only forget this place because not only they do not propose anything serious (the Caesar Salad without the chicken and without the sauce... meaning just a green salad but charged at the price of the Caesar salad...) but also they are judging your diet and your choices in a very insulting way. I was so sorry for my daughter-in-law to be so badly considered. the worst thing when at the end of the diner we shared our frustrations we were told it was a misunderstanding on her side ... Unfortunately all the persons around the table were able to hear about this misconsideration and blaming her was insane. The second serious insult was when my son tasted his glass of Sauvignon Blanc and noted that despite very nice flavour it was very acid... "piquant" and therefore undrinkable. We called the person acting as a so-called "sommelier" and was telling us that it was not true. That all the Sauvignon were like that.... I tasted the wine of my son and i do confirm that it was realling bad and i have a enough Sauvignon Blanc in my cellar to understand that his mocking smile was actually insulting. Never again...

Freundlicher Empfang. Mir wurde ein Zimmer zugeteilt das noch nicht gereinigt war. Ich wurde rasch in ein anderes eingebucht. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, allerdings wäre es schön auch Brot ohne Milch zu offerieren (glutenfreies Brot ist keine Alternative!). Die Lage ist sensationell.

Die Lobby war echt Fancy und auch schön eingerichtet. Jedoch wenn man aus dem lift kommt richt es im Flur schon nach Urin. Die Zimmer sind auch extrem veraltet und nur mässig sauber (überal flecken auf dem Teppich). Den Nachbarn kann man in der Nacht auch Schnarchen hören, ist also nicht wirklich gut isoliert. Da hätte man besser die Zimmer erneuert und nicht die Lobby. Frühstück könnte man auch etwas updaten, frisch geschnittene Früchte oder Kuchen etc. wären wünschenswert, da es sonst sehr viel "salzige" auswahl hat. Wasser im Pool war leider auch nicht so warm. Preis leistung ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, persöndlich würde ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.
