Did not give me a parking spot on site. Had to pay for parking around the area. Told me it was full, and when I checked it out, only 5 cars were there out of the 30 spots. Next day, they were giving spots out like candy. Rooms were nice as I had purchased 3 for a night, but still not cool.

We tried to park in the Hotel parking lot and there was an intercom there that was not working properly so we could not understand what the staff was trying to tell us via intercom. When we arrived at the hotel desk, we found out that there was no available parking from the hotel, but we were able to park in a convenient public lot

The parking is non-existant because the hotel lot is so small. There are questionable lots surrounding the property who want you to pay $5 every12 hours and remind you that if you don’t pay, they will tow your car! The hotel should provide parking in these lots for free, given the price they charge for the rooms!

Really nice hotel! The location is really convenient to the U.S. border. We came in from the states around midnight so we were tired and this location is just around the corner. The parking garage is across the street if they run out of parking but it’s a small side street. Felt safe to me at midnight. The area was well lit. The rooms are clean, spacious and provided everything we needed. There was a kitchen, but we did not use it. Well priced for how large the rooms are. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. Plenty of hot and cold items to choose from.

The stay was good. Not happy with the breakfast, only eggs and sausage, rice offered for hot food. Would be great if there was anything else, other eggs, bacon, any additional selection. Parking is not ideal. Hotel parking was already booked up. Had to park across the street at a paid lot.

HVAC was inoperable - room was at 79 deg F the whole stay - extremely uncomfortable. Shower head was just hanging. No offer of a discount, nor one granted when asked.

My second stay here. I love the proximity to the downtown, and in particular to the "natatorium" a wonderful aquatic complex literally two minutes walk away. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly. My one concern, and it only applied to my second stay, was that the bathroom facilities needed light maintenance. The shower head was dangling loosely. The toilet seat had a slippage issue. Beyond these issues I found the overall stay very good.

The hotel person that checked us in didn’t tell use any info about Wi-Fi, breakfast or even parking. I literally had to ask everything. Now on to the room. I wished it was cleaner and maybe having fixtures that weren’t hanging the wrong way. Lamp leaning to one side and the toilet paper holder barely hanging on to the paper. The water pressure was non existent and when you turn on the hot water to a certain point it made the craziest noise. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bed too soft and pillows too flat. The one thing I did like about the room was the kitchen. Stove, full sized dredge and anything you would need to cook and eat. Breakfast was bad!!!!! Coffee sucked!!!!! At least checking out the lady was very pleasant.

Great rooms! Clean and well maintained. My first choice in downtown Windsor, unless you have your heart set on a riverfront room somewhere else. Even then, the rooms here are nicer.

I liked having the kitchenette. The room was spacious and well laid out with sofa, ottoman and a large bathroom. Beds and pillows were excellent, towels were plentiful. A very cozy stay for us. It was so nice to stay in a hotel with higher standards than the norm.

This hotel met our needs perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, the room was in excellent condition and the kitchenette was very handy. It was a short walk to everything we needed in down town. I would recommend for sure.

After first night coming back to hotel after a very long day housekeeping had attended room but beds were not made to an acceptable standard. On our third night there we came back to the room at approximately 7pm. We found the deadbolt on the door holding it open. It appeared that housekeeping left our room door open THE ENTIRE DAY! Anyone could have gone in and stolen anything. WE COULD HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH A WOULD BE ROBBER…I immediately went down to front desk where there was only 1 staff. She asked me to wait a few minutes while she checked in another guest that walked in while I was informing her of our situation. She told me she would inform the manager and housekeeping manager. She apologized but stated she couldn’t do much more. The lock was stuck so she had to come up and reset it, Next morning ( check out day) we asked to speak to the manager. She asked to see the pic of the beds not made but did not seem to be interested in the lock pics. I explained how unsafe we felt after this happened and she stated she could review the tapes to see that no one entered our room. Little late as we were checking out. We were reimbursed for the parking of $60 and an apology that this happened. Manager stated she’d let the district manager know what had happened but wasn’t in a position nor was she agreeable to any other reimbursement. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was sufficient. I just feel that we should be reimbursed for incide

When we arrived there were two women at the check in. Very disappointed in there attitude no welcome what so ever. When asked where to park they both had a no care attitude the p/ lot is beside the hotel it's a free for all plus if it is full you can park across the street and it will cost $5.00. The first impression turned me right off. On the plus side the breakfast was good and the room was all right. I had requesteted a bath tub plus shower the women told me they didn't have any rooms available with a tub. Another disappointment. I would never go back or recomend that hotel to anyone. It appeared that the hotel eas also located in the poor side of the city lots of bums and homeless people on the street. Again very disappointed weekend.

There were many homeless people hanging around outside of the hotel. It just made us feel uncomfortable every time we left the hotel. We will never stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel after a Red Wings game. It is nice and close to the border. Then we walked to the Adventure Bay waterpark the next day, which is so close you can see it. It was nice to have the option of two queens with a pullout so my two kids had their own beds. The breakfast was great and had many, many options. The only downside is that traffic in the area caused some noise while sleeping.

Our bikes were stolen off a locked bike rack on our car in the hotel parking lot. They used a bolt cutter. We were not warned that crime was prevalent in the area. Police were called but the crime could only be reported on the internet. There was an unusual portable standing a/c unit in the room which drew air from outside and drained condensing water into a bucket which needed to be emptied regularly. Breakfast was pretty good. Beds were comfortable. Good shower.

Really nice hotel! The location is really convenient to the U.S. border. We came in from the states around midnight so we were tired and this location is just around the corner. The parking garage is across the street if they run out of parking but it’s a small side street. Felt safe to me at midnight. The area was well lit. The rooms are clean, spacious and provided everything we needed. There was a kitchen, but we did not use it. Well priced for how large the rooms are. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. Nice hotel, clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower. Our room faced the parking and was very quiet overnight. However, the breakfast hours don’t work. Breakfast is served until 9:00 am on weekdays, this is way too early for people on vacation (most hotels serve breakfast until 10:00 am). Also, the hotel parking gets full quickly so you have to park in the street or in the parking lot across the hotel. Although it costs only $5 for 12 hours, it’s open and anyone could break into your car - The area around the hotel did not feel safe to me, lots of empty lots, deserted streets, strange people walking by (there was a crazy woman nude from waist down walking around the hotel looking high this morning, and some people looking homeless near by, fire trucks going by last night). As a single woman, I’m not sure I would stay there again because of that.

The tv remote needed new batteries. Staff did fix quickly. Keurig machine didn't work - parts missing. Breakfast was typical but the eggs and sausage and pastries were old and stale.

If I didn't have luggage, I'd walk to the train station, but it's just a 3-5 min Uber or taxi ride. The bus terminal is across the street. There are tons of restaurants within a few blocks, so I don't have to order in (or if I feel like cooking, I can pick up ingredients at a store!). The bed and pillows are so soft and clean. The bathroom is well-lit and very shiny, with good water pressure. That free breakfast from 6-9am is WORTH IT.

Overall was amazing very clean very nice quiet area all around there’s a parking so everything it was around that restaurant league overall was amazing and it’s affordable price. The go to wall is amazing. The one helping us in breakfast time. She’s amazing. She’s very nice.

We checked in late and the front desk wasn’t overly informed of local parking, since the lot was full. The AC did not work all that well. Was not able to make the room cooler. Made it slightly uncomfortable, since the room wasn’t cool. When I mentioned it to the front desk in the morning, they didn’t seem all that concerned that it wasn’t working well.

Nice hotel very close to a bus station and the downtown waterfront walking area. Parking was a bit of a challenge till we found out that the no parking 4-6 am signs were for snow routes only. As it was summer it wasn't an issue. Hotel does have limited parking for a fee. No issues with street parking though, it was fine. Room was nice and clean, with a full size fridge/freezer, came in handy for medication I was carrying.
