We had a number of problems, initially allocated a 'left over room' which had damaged blinds and no screening from sun. Then moved to another room where TV was not working and wifi kept dropping making it unusable. Eventually moved to a third room which was ok. Housekeeping items were not regularly replenished, although cleaning was good. Staff were friendly, but could not help. One gentleman on nightshift was amazingly good, he was enthusiastic about hospitality and tourism and actually cared to greet guests and offer tourist info, map etc.This place would have been ok for a night or two at the most, the room switching ruined our 5 night stay. Pool downstairs was closed off, lift was broken for half of our stay. Rooftop pool and its view are both overrated in the advert. The lobby area is great. Breakfast was ok. In general, great location, but you could do much better elsewhere.

Hotel was conveniently located near Zaragoza sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. There is no parking onsite but they have a relationship with nearby garage to park your car. Breakfast was okay. There is no restaurant onsite, restaurant is located at their sister hotel Palafox which is about 5-10 minutes' walk from Hotel Alfonso. No hair conditioner or lotion provided in the bathroom. Overall, I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zaragoza.

Perfecto, esta super bien ubicado, 2puntos negativos: El parking: el hotel tiene un supuesto convenio con el parking de a lado pero nada, es un descuento de 1€ al dia, vaya precio especial! Total cuesta 23€ al dia.... La piscina: esta muy muy sucia, da asco. Salvo eso el hotel es moderno, cuartos amplios ubicacion perfecta

Great hotel right in the center of the city with access to transit and everything is within walking distance. The property is beautiful, has confortable beds, large, and cozy, and the pool and rooftop have superb views of the city. I would love to stay here again if I’m ever back in the city!

This is one of those old style hotels that are pricey but not comfortable. They gave us a room in a corner with a view to a back patio because the man at the front desk said I had requested a "quiet" room. Bad choice. Small room, not comfortable at all. I went down to the indoor pool (cold weather in March) only to find out that it has been closed since the start of the pandemic. The good part is the location, right in the center of Zaragoza.

Great location for exploring Zaragoza. Room was slightly dated but was still fine for what we needed. Staff were friendly & helpful. The pool was busy at times as its quite a small area being on the roof, but was great to cool off in the heat. Overall, glad we stayed here as its a good base to see the city.

The staff were very polite and sympathetic to my concerns, but overall it was difficult to justify spending 500$ for a second room when there were booking issues and when many of the utilities were nonfunctioning. Expedia indicated a bedroom could fit 3 so I booked this, but was told upon arrival that it meant 2 adults and a small child on a small sofa and I therefore had to book a second bedroom at full cost. The bedrooms weren't ready until 1-1.5 hours past check-in time (we arrived 1 hour before check-in to drop off bags), indoor pool was unexpectedly closed, one elevator (out of two for the whole building) was nonfunctioning due to a pool leak, the second bedroom was warm and smelled of mildew, all door hinges were unoiled and loud, water didn't drain well in showers, and the complementary breakfast that was provided as a result of sharing my concerns was unclean and minimal for what is regarded as a high-quality hotel. The staff, again, are very sweet and tried to fix the fixable issues as they came up, but I would not stay here again unless they reached out to discuss reconciliation.

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra och centralt, och har en fin liten pool på taket. Skicket på rummen var så där och det låg smulor och skräp under säng och skrivbord. Fruosten får knappt godkänt, väldigt basic.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Reception staff were great (we were only there one night so didn’t have reason to contact other staff members). Room was a decent size, well equipped and comfortable. Could have done with tea and coffee facilities - I’m never going to use St*rbucks with with whom the hotel seems to have a shared entrance

El hotel está bien situado y es bonito. En pleno centro cerca de gran parte de los sitios emblemáticos y con buena hostelería. Las habitaciones tienen pros y contras. La habitación doble tiene un tamaño correcto para dos personas. En nuestro caso con un niño pequeño fallaba la cama que era un sofá decorativo en la pared al que le pusieron una toalla y unas sábanas con una almohada. Bastante inseguro sin barrera de seguridad ni posibilidad de pegarlo a la otra cama. Los colchones se les nota el paso del tiempo aunque se puede dormir bien. Por otra parte justo de espacio de armario y se echa en falta un hervidor y cafetera. En nuestra habitación no ajustaba bien una ventana y se escuchaban mucho los ruidos por la noche.

Location was excellent to visit many places in town on foot. I felt very safe walking to restaurants at night. Only thing I wish the room had was electric kettle to make a hot water for my night tea. However, Starbucks on the first floor (unfortunately they had locked the direct access to Starbucks from the hotel) was very kind to give me grande size hot water every night with no charge.

Everything about this property was great, except the wifi was horrible. Small inconvenience, but when you have to sit on the toilet to get a signal cause it’s the only place in the room, that can get quite bothersome.

Muy centrico, el hotel está bastante bien, se nota el paso del tiempo en las toallas ya que algunas estan deshilachadas y en la bañera. Hay amenities minimamente, 1 kit dental y poco mas, eso si, 1 para dos personas, supongo se podría solicitar más. Nuestra habitación daba a la calle que pasa el tranvía, por lo que a las 6 de la mañana ya vibra la habitación, pero está muy centrico, es el precio que pagas por esto. Tv anticuada, no se veian los canales extranjeros. El colchón también ha sufrido ya el paso del tiempo. En recepción muy amables. Si repetiría.

We had a number of problems, initially allocated a 'left over room' which had damaged blinds and no screening from sun. Then moved to another room where TV was not working and wifi kept dropping making it unusable. Eventually moved to a third room which was ok. Housekeeping items were not regularly replenished, although cleaning was good. Staff were friendly, but could not help. One gentleman on nightshift was amazingly good, he was enthusiastic about hospitality and tourism and actually cared to greet guests and offer tourist info, map etc.This place would have been ok for a night or two at the most, the room switching ruined our 5 night stay. Pool downstairs was closed off, lift was broken for half of our stay. Rooftop pool and its view are both overrated in the advert. The lobby area is great. Breakfast was ok. In general, great location, but you could do much better elsewhere.

Hotel was conveniently located near Zaragoza sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. There is no parking onsite but they have a relationship with nearby garage to park your car. Breakfast was okay. There is no restaurant onsite, restaurant is located at their sister hotel Palafox which is about 5-10 minutes' walk from Hotel Alfonso. No hair conditioner or lotion provided in the bathroom. Overall, I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zaragoza.

The hotel was amazing, however, we checked in at reception with Antonio, he was very rude and unprofessional since we walked in the hotel. The other check in girl was polite and professional. We traveled as a family and reserved two rooms. We requested to be in the same floor but Antonio refused and said they didn’t have any available on the same floor. The other check in girl said they did. She talked to Antonio and he said these rooms are set and we cannot be change. She tried to talk to him but he was being difficult. Everyone else at reception was very polite. I can’t remember her name but she did try to accommodate us for the next day by offering us to come back the next morning for room availability in the same floor. I’m still going to give this hotel all the stars as one person shouldn’t effect the overall experience. I’m assuming he was having a bad night.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Reception staff were great (we were only there one night so didn’t have reason to contact other staff members). Room was a decent size, well equipped and comfortable. Could have done with tea and coffee facilities - I’m never going to use St*rbucks with with whom the hotel seems to have a shared entrance

Hôtel très récent, très bien situé pour les visites (Pilar, etc...)et le proche quartier du Tubo, avec beaucoup de chambres. Du coup celles-ci, très confortables et bien équipées, sont un peu petites pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, et le personnel, aimable, est un peu débordé: l'attente aux guichets est souvent longue pour les enregistrements et les départs, et l'ambiance est impersonnelle. Le grand atout de cet hôtel est ses piscines, mais elles sont malheureusement fermées, officiellement à cause de la pandémie. Pas de parking, mais un accord avec un parking public. Contrairement à ce qu'indique l'hôtel, celui-ci n'est pas situéà 100m, mais à 500m, et je recommande vivement de ve ir en voiture devant l"hôtel pour décharger et charger.

Older hotel which did not stop in providing a good bed, shower and air conditioning. That meets or exceeds my desires for a place to rest my head. Will say the breakfast option was disappointing. Not sure why the limited selection cannot be sustained during service hours. Empty food options during service hours make one ponder. Great location and plenty of alternative eating choices nearby.

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra och centralt, och har en fin liten pool på taket. Skicket på rummen var så där och det låg smulor och skräp under säng och skrivbord. Fruosten får knappt godkänt, väldigt basic.

Der er også masser af restauranter i området og byens eneste Starbucks ligger nærmest i hotellets lobby. Værelserne er super pæne med minibar, stort klædeskab, dejlig seng og velduftende sæber på badeværelset. Der er også pool på taget, samt parasoller og liggestole. Morgenmaden er helt i orden. Højdepunktet er den friskpressede appelsinjuice. Vil klart anbefale dette hotel.
