Beautiful view from both levels. Enjoyed the well-stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, kayaks, swimming, privacy, even laundry conveniences. Ripe blackberries for eating the entire visit was a special treat. The ice maker and water dispenser in downstairs fridge not working and lots of stairs down to lake. Would happily stay again.

What an incredible house for our extended family. The views are breathtaking. Great rooms and spaces with comfortable beds for all 12 of us. The kitchen was stocked with lots of good stuff and we loved being able to cook meals together and eat together in the massive great room. We used the little dock to jump and play. My only complaint was the ladder you use climb in and out of the water was broken..

From the second you walk in the main entrance to the huge window overlooking the river it is astounding. The entry level is set up with full kitchen TV living area master bedroom then you go downstairs and it’s repeated, a full kitchen TV with three bedrooms. I never used the downstairs level. I only stayed in the upstairs level. The bed was heaven. The room so dark at night and quiet, loved it Everything was great. The bathroom was lovely. The shower had great pressure and lots of water. my bad for picking June, I never saw the sun, so I couldn’t sit out on the patio due to the rain and mist and sprinkles. But it was a lovely quiet neighborhood. Good exercise going up all the exterior stairs from the riverfront. One small thing, the Internet Wi-Fi goes in and out. The neighbor had a stronger signal inside this house than the house wifi did. Now, if I only knew the magic time of year when I would see the sun, I’d be back in a heartbeat.

This is a great house with lake access and dual living spaces. Very nice size homes that we appreciated for our family of 5. The dock out back is the primary reason we picked this house as we brought our paddle boards. The ability to hope on the lake whenever we wanted was priceless. The only cons were that the BBQ electric starter did not work and there was no lighter in the house. We checked in at 4pm with all of our belongings and were prepared to BBQ for dinner. When we realized we couldn’t start the BBQ we called the after hours line and was told someone would bring us a lighter. That never happened. We ended up having to drive into town and pick up pizza that night. On the second day with still no lighter we went into town and bought one so we could use the BBQ for the rest of our meals. The under counter lights in the kitchen do not work and with black countertops it made difficult without that extra light. As mentioned by another reviewer the property could use a deep clean inside and out. The carpets in the upstairs living area are very stained and the cobwebs and bird poop on the deck are evident. We really loved the setting of the house. It was so peaceful to stare out at the lake. We took the kayaks out and right to the north of the house was a large patch of wild lotus flowers and lily pads. So beautiful! The beds were comfortable too. We had some minor issues - uneven heat on the burners on the stove upstairs (the stove top is cracked) and 2 back burners that did not get very hot - but the stove downstairs worked great. Also, no propane for the grill and the canoe seats were rotted out so we could not use it. (just be aware that although it is listed as being available the seats being missing make it challenging to use for us middle-aged people ;) Finally, the very back bedroom felt damp to us (the bunk bedroom). The house is very close to some awesome things - we loved Lake Cleawox which is in Honeyman Park. We also found the proximity to Florence to be wonderful - we ate there a few times and had great meals. We really loved the dune buggy tour as well. Driving north to some beaches and hunting for agates was a highlight too, and make sure to stop by Heceta Head lighthouse! We would stay again - the house needs a few minor tweaks but in general, it's comfortable, large, and great location.

Had a wonderful time! Lots of room and amazing views! Big kitchens, could use some new/larger fry pans but other than that it had lots of items. Great communication when we had questions! We had 3 kids and 11 adults. Fished off the dock, would stay here again!

The home was beautiful! It worked well for our extended family vacation. It was well equipped, except for a lighter to light the grill (the starter on the grill did not work). It was a very quiet, serene location with amazing views of the lake. The younger family members really enjoyed the kayaks! We would all definitely would stay there again!

We have stayed in this house a few times , we love kayaking and paddle boarding from the dock and it’s has a nice shallow area for the little kids , we would stay here again -always a nice family time 😀

As a family of 13 this house was perfect. Utilizing 2 kitchens made mealtime a breeze and 2 family rooms gave everyone space to do what they wanted. We brought our kayaks and with 2 onsite worked perfectly. The lake is gorgeous abd we had an amazing time and we look forward to coming again soon

This is a very large house with 2 usable kitchens. The beds were not as comfortable as hoped for but it was nice having cooling on each floor. It definitely needs a major deep cleaning. Exterior sb pressure washed good and inside needs a deep clean by a group of at least 4 people. The fan in upstairs ceiling had a thick layer of dust stuck to it and all of the window ledges need a good wiped down. Overall our group had a nice time.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to spend a weekend. The home and property are magnificent! The beds and other furniture were all very comfortable. Loads of room throughout the house. We had 11 adults for the weekend and it never came close to feeling like we were on top of each other. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

The outside patio, patio furniture, and windows had a LOT of bird poop on them (had to hose it off myself, even then not all came off). Carpets had lots of stains on them. No garbage bags or dish soap on main floor (had to call to get them).View was absolutely gorgeous. Boat dock was wonderful. The interior of the house (except the carpets) was clean.

Nice upper end home on the lake! Not much more that I can ask for. Carpets are stained, need to take the carpets out and go in with tile and maybe a rug? All the kitchen cabnet door hinges are shot, need replacing. Overall the home was comfortable and well stocked, thanks again for having us!

One of our quickest trips over to our happy place.. the Oregon Dunes! Been doing this several times a year for last 17 years.. and this was one of the most beautiful homes we’ve stayed at! Very clean & pretty! We can’t wait to go back with more time!

A nice home away from home. Very spacious with plenty of room for everyone! Members of my family enjoyed spending time on the decks looking out on to the lake, others enjoyed the kayaks on the lake, but everyone enjoyed the open floor plan for meals and games in the evenings. Plenty of beds for our 10 guests, ranging from age 2 to 64. Basement beds had some obvious wear and weren't the most comfortable but did the trick. There were a few cleanliness issues: Dead bugs on windows seals, bird poop on the deck and back window (swallows are nesting in the rafters). Dirty dishes with caked on food in the cupboards. I had to run a load of dishes before we felt comfortable eating off the provided dishes. A register under the bed in the main basement bedroom was flooping closed and would not cool the room. My dad pulled out his tools and fixed it. Overall beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Pictures don’t do the Vista Point Lake House justice. It is simply stunning. The view is spectacular. We came in December and could do nothing more with the lake than look at it…but that was enough. It was majestic. The layout of the house, with two kitchens and two living rooms, made our two-family trip really easy and enjoyable. The kids had a space downstairs to hang out and stay up late, while the adults had a quiet space upstairs. The master shower with its two heads was a great amenity, too. As others said, bringing bottled water is a good idea. The water was visibly greenish in a glass and even more so in the bath, but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. We used bottled water to cook, drink and brush our teeth with and used the faucets for everything else. Being able to bring our dog was such a great experience for us. We’ve never done that on vacation before but will ONLY do that moving forward. Really appreciate the Vista Lake House owners for opening up their home to pets! The town of Florence was so cool to visit. The little shops were great and the local grocery stores had everything we needed. Highly recommend the Vista Point Lake House to anyone looking for a great, relaxing vacation

A nice home away from home. Very spacious with plenty of room for everyone! Members of my family enjoyed spending time on the decks looking out on to the lake, others enjoyed the kayaks on the lake, but everyone enjoyed the open floor plan for meals and games in the evenings. Plenty of beds for our 10 guests, ranging from age 2 to 64. Basement beds had some obvious wear and weren't the most comfortable but did the trick. There were a few cleanliness issues: Dead bugs on windows seals, bird poop on the deck and back window (swallows are nesting in the rafters). Dirty dishes with caked on food in the cupboards. I had to run a load of dishes before we felt comfortable eating off the provided dishes. A register under the bed in the main basement bedroom was flooping closed and would not cool the room. My dad pulled out his tools and fixed it. Overall beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

As a family of 13 this house was perfect. Utilizing 2 kitchens made mealtime a breeze and 2 family rooms gave everyone space to do what they wanted. We brought our kayaks and with 2 onsite worked perfectly. The lake is gorgeous abd we had an amazing time and we look forward to coming again soon

The outside patio, patio furniture, and windows had a LOT of bird poop on them (had to hose it off myself, even then not all came off). Carpets had lots of stains on them. No garbage bags or dish soap on main floor (had to call to get them).View was absolutely gorgeous. Boat dock was wonderful. The interior of the house (except the carpets) was clean.

Had a wonderful time! Lots of room and amazing views! Big kitchens, could use some new/larger fry pans but other than that it had lots of items. Great communication when we had questions! We had 3 kids and 11 adults. Fished off the dock, would stay here again!

Thank you so much for having us at your beautiful home. We very much enjoyed the dock, kayaks, and lake! It was large enough to host our family and friends. Our other family rented the house 2 doors down, so it was a truly a fun get together. Only negative thing was the smoke detector battery was low, so it chirped for the first few hours we were there. Called property manager and he was on top of fixing the issue. We were able to take the battery out though, and maintenance came to fix after we left. Thank you again for lending us your beautiful home for the weekend. We would love to come back next year!

Pictures don’t do the Vista Point Lake House justice. It is simply stunning. The view is spectacular. We came in December and could do nothing more with the lake than look at it…but that was enough. It was majestic. The layout of the house, with two kitchens and two living rooms, made our two-family trip really easy and enjoyable. The kids had a space downstairs to hang out and stay up late, while the adults had a quiet space upstairs. The master shower with its two heads was a great amenity, too. As others said, bringing bottled water is a good idea. The water was visibly greenish in a glass and even more so in the bath, but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. We used bottled water to cook, drink and brush our teeth with and used the faucets for everything else. Being able to bring our dog was such a great experience for us. We’ve never done that on vacation before but will ONLY do that moving forward. Really appreciate the Vista Lake House owners for opening up their home to pets! The town of Florence was so cool to visit. The little shops were great and the local grocery stores had everything we needed. Highly recommend the Vista Point Lake House to anyone looking for a great, relaxing vacation

Drove down 10 hrs from canada rented this suite and i could never been happier!!! Great place if you go to the dunes and ride literslly 20mins away!!! Lots of space and very open concept....you wont be dissapointed!!

From the second you walk in the main entrance to the huge window overlooking the river it is astounding. The entry level is set up with full kitchen TV living area master bedroom then you go downstairs and it’s repeated, a full kitchen TV with three bedrooms. I never used the downstairs level. I only stayed in the upstairs level. The bed was heaven. The room so dark at night and quiet, loved it Everything was great. The bathroom was lovely. The shower had great pressure and lots of water. my bad for picking June, I never saw the sun, so I couldn’t sit out on the patio due to the rain and mist and sprinkles. But it was a lovely quiet neighborhood. Good exercise going up all the exterior stairs from the riverfront. One small thing, the Internet Wi-Fi goes in and out. The neighbor had a stronger signal inside this house than the house wifi did. Now, if I only knew the magic time of year when I would see the sun, I’d be back in a heartbeat.

We really loved the setting of the house. It was so peaceful to stare out at the lake. We took the kayaks out and right to the north of the house was a large patch of wild lotus flowers and lily pads. So beautiful! The beds were comfortable too. We had some minor issues - uneven heat on the burners on the stove upstairs (the stove top is cracked) and 2 back burners that did not get very hot - but the stove downstairs worked great. Also, no propane for the grill and the canoe seats were rotted out so we could not use it. (just be aware that although it is listed as being available the seats being missing make it challenging to use for us middle-aged people ;) Finally, the very back bedroom felt damp to us (the bunk bedroom). The house is very close to some awesome things - we loved Lake Cleawox which is in Honeyman Park. We also found the proximity to Florence to be wonderful - we ate there a few times and had great meals. We really loved the dune buggy tour as well. Driving north to some beaches and hunting for agates was a highlight too, and make sure to stop by Heceta Head lighthouse! We would stay again - the house needs a few minor tweaks but in general, it's comfortable, large, and great location.

This is a beautiful lakefront getaway with room enough for a really large family. Everything we needed was provided. Hosts thought of everything. The lake was so quiet and peaceful. No boat or toys this time of year. My wife nd our dog took a swim though, and the water was cool and refreshing. Florence is minutes away for dining and shopping. The ocean is just a quick trip up the road. But it was nice to come back to the calm of this retreat. No wind at all made this even more zen-like. We didn’t want to leave, but know we’ll be back.
