Loved our little one night stay in this hotel. Room was clean and spacious, we didn't book one with a view but it didn't really matter as we were out exploring most of the day. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel either but we walked through the restaurant and it looked like a nice continental selection. Parking is not available on site but you can park at one of the car parks dotted around at ¢14 per day, choose one higher up though so you are not walking uphill to the hotel (You are allowed to drive to the hotel to drop off and pick up luggage but not to park overnight) Reception staff were warm and welcoming and the hotel was easy to find and check-in ran smoothly. Lovely location in Assisi and a short walk to most of the landmarks,bars and restaurants. We actually tried to book this hotel again 2 months later on a visit but it was fully booked.

Great location and a nice hotel! Assisi is very hilly, so we did take a taxi from the train station vs walking with our luggage. The hotel has some great common spaces to sit and relax. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. If you have a car, you can only drop off luggage quickly and repark the car. The lot is a 10 minute drive thru Assisi, but by using the stairs that connect the winding streets, the walk back is quick. Asking for a cab from the front desk is a little pricey. I recommend walking to the piazza by St. Clare's church to pick up a cab where they line up.

Julian welcomed us and was very helpful for the entire stay. He was great! Hotel was beautiful and well located. As is the case for all hotels in Assisi, getting to and from parking is a real challenge. Not a hotel issue- a city issue. Breakfast was ok. Great to have some English speaking channels on the TV. Julian was a great source of guidance.

Staff was great. Parking was awful- 25 min walk and cost additional €14/day. The building is very cool but no fans , no ability to open windows due to no screens and mosquitoes. Mattress was very hard. Breakfast was nice - selection of cold items.

The common areas of the property were very nice and everything was clean. Breakfast offered several good choices and was quick so we good start site seeing. But our room was very noisy with street sounds, and there was no closet or drawers in the vedroom and no shelves in the bathroom to store toiletries.

The Room assigned 302, Problem One: 1st night the room temperature was really cold. I checked the termostat was set to 18C, so I turned to high. The antique warmer switched from hot to extremely hot, I had to move the switch, several time. 2nd night on my return at night, the room temperature was OK, and I noticed it was getting warm air through a regular ac unit! So, they just didn't turn it on the previous night! 2nd Complaint: locked door connected to another room. The first night I complained to the manager ( or owner) about noise ( tv + laud voice)from that room. It was until my 2nd call that they took control of the situation. It was about 11:45 pm. He offered to move me to a "larger room with view" after the first time I called and requested a non connected room, he said the hotel was all booked! I was so tired I just needed rest! No recepcionist after 7pm, until 7am next day. So, I really do not recommend this Hotel. I do not wish to others this experience.

We had room 304 looking out over the valley. Breathtaking view! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and super helpful. This is easily the best hotel of our vacation in Italy! We highly recommend it!

The owner and staff were superb. They guided us on the phone through the city to the property and showed us where free parking is. The hotel is in an excellent location in the historical district and staff recommendations for dinner were wonderful. We had a room with a beautiful view. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location near the basilica and right in the charming main area of Assisi. Unfortunately due to bad timing we were there during G7 conference and were unable to see the basilica due to security, please double check your calendar before booking. There are plenty of other sights in Assisi, it was still a great visit for us.

Beautiful property in the heart of Assisi. We stayed here after completing the Via di Francesco and they were very accommodating. The hotel is very comfortable with fashionable modern touches. Great breakfast with eggs (which we had been craving).

The front desk staff was always available for any questions we had about dining options, events, tours, etc. we had to stay an extra night in Assisi due to the train strike and they were kind enough to find us another room for the night. Great breakfast. Limited fruit, but always breads, meats, cheese, yogurt and juice choices. Excellent location.
