We stayed in the apartments, located around the corner from hotel. Excellent area very walkable and located in best area to see all sights. Only downside was the apartment did not have elevator so taking heavy bags up steep steps was difficult

Amazing location, smack bang in the centre of the city next to the square. Couldn’t have been a better location. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. They even organised a booking at a recommended local restaurant (which when we turned up didn’t actually seem to be in their books) but we just had to wait a bit and we got a table anyway. Parking was good, I think we used their sister hotels parking facility around the corner which was secure. Only problem is if you left something in your car, might be a bit tricky to quickly nip out and get it later. Bologna is stunning and old city which means navigating to the hotel can be a challenge but we did our research and preplanned the route they had suggested and managed to get straight there. Lovely clean rooms and bathrooms. Would recommend this little gem of a hotel to anyone that wants a authentic Bologna stay.

Great location. Our Gallery room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We thought from the website that there was a rooftop deck at this hotel, which is one of the reasons we booked it. However it turns out it was at a nearby sister hotel, and closed in any event.

Even though this hotel is a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore, and they're an action movie playing on the big screen in the middle of the square, I couldn't hear it unless I got my ear closeto the window for a very faint trail of the sound. The location is amazing, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the room is modern and clean. Because i have an early flight, I won't be able to try the breakfast, but the staff has even prepared a boxed breakfast for my family to take on the go. Other than the verrrry slow elevator, it's hard to find anything to complain about.

We only stayed one night at the last minute, but everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A bonus was a kettle - not always provided in Italian hotels - which was very useful for making bottles for our 5 month old daughter. The service was excellent - we had one slight problem that was solved immediately, and the staff were very friendly. They let us check in early just so we could change the baby, and also let us check-out late. Breakfast was a good selection, and again had great service. The location is ideal - less than 30 seconds walk from the main square, but still quiet at night Definitely recommended.

Classy property that is well maintained and styled in classic Italian furnishings but with modern features. Very friendly and helpful staff. However it’s very important to understand that if arrive by car that needs parking this must be arranged prior to your visit as the parking stated as available is limited, and once filled public parking is required. The hotel stamped a ticket that cost and allowed use of public parking which was hard to find and not near hotel. Also, some parts of city do not allow closed non-resident vehicles.

What a great little hotel. Everyone is courteous, helpful and happy to help creating a great atmosphere. The rooms are good, clean and well serviced. Location is central and I mean in the centre of the city. They booked us a number of restaurants all of which were excellent. When we come back to Bologna I will see whether they have a room before booking the flights. Thank you

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I can honestly say it was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is in a beautiful location and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our trip as pleasant as possible.

The room, a small suite, was quite charming, combining traditional Italian style and modern functionality. Floor to ceiling windows looked out on the plaza, cushioned the noise and blackout drapes and comfy bedding made for a good nights sleep. The staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. Breakfast most tasty. We are an older couple who have stayed here multiple times and undoubtedly will stay again when in Bologna.

The hotel is perfect, well situated, close to everything to see in Bologna, clean. The breakfast is complete. The only thing that explain a 4/5 note is the insonorisation. We heard everything from the other rooms as if it was inside. Also there is a lot of noise coming from outside and again feels like our windows were open which was not the case.

Wonderful hotel centrally located in Bologna, Only 32 rooms, with nice homemaded breakfast, Not spacious rooms, but very good beds and quiet rooms despite location is close to everything. So if you like boutigue hotel instead of big well branded hotel, this is definitely something to recommend

I loved this hotel. It's eccentric - but in just the right way. The rooms are lovely - well-designed and very, Italian. Comfortable beds make for a great night's sleep. Rooms are quiet, despite it being so central for Bologna. Breakfast is adorable - such a wonderful buffet with loads of options and really, really sweet staff. Reception team and housekeeping are all so friendly and helpful too. Such a nice surprise overall and definitely a hotel I would stay in again.

The room was really gorgeous and felt special—not some cookie-cutter place—and the location smack-dab in the center of Maggiore square couldn’t be beat! Also, their morning breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel!

Pretty solid spot in bologna, centrally located. Breakfast was delightful and the room was lovely and looked right over the square. Only notes I’d make is that there was only one shower door so it was near impossible to not get the floors wet and the Wi-Fi was rather unreliable

This was a really nice hotel. It is located right in the Piazza where everything is happening. It is an easy walk to all major attractions. We arrived early, around 11am,. Check in is at 3pm, but they texted us at 1:00 that our room was ready. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, It was a spacious room. The Staff speaks English and were very helpful. There is AC, and we did use it. Being in the piazza, there is noise, but with windows closed and AC on, we did not hear the noise. I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of my favorite hotels I picked on my Italy trip. The hotel is located right next to a large piazza with plenty of eating, shopping, and social options. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and my room was amazing. The breakfast options were delicious and staff was very attentive. The front desk staff was helpful with suggestions for eating and places to go. They also helped me navigate a train strike so I could travel to the next city. If I go back to Bologna, I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Wonderful stay all around and I have zero complaints.

We drove from Montespertoli to Bologna. The hotel reception person (Erica) went above and beyond to help us with navigating with the car and parking as there are many restrictions for driving in Bologna. She was excellent! Grazie Mille, Erica!

What a great little hotel. Everyone is courteous, helpful and happy to help creating a great atmosphere. The rooms are good, clean and well serviced. Location is central and I mean in the centre of the city. They booked us a number of restaurants all of which were excellent. When we come back to Bologna I will see whether they have a room before booking the flights. Thank you

Even though this hotel is a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore, and they're an action movie playing on the big screen in the middle of the square, I couldn't hear it unless I got my ear closeto the window for a very faint trail of the sound. The location is amazing, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the room is modern and clean. Because i have an early flight, I won't be able to try the breakfast, but the staff has even prepared a boxed breakfast for my family to take on the go. Other than the verrrry slow elevator, it's hard to find anything to complain about.

Check in is at 3pm, but they texted us at 1:00 that our room was ready. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, It was a spacious room. The Staff speaks English and were very helpful. There is AC, and we did use it. Being in the piazza, there is noise, but with windows closed and AC on, we did not hear the noise. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is right on the Piazza Maggiore, and in walking distance to dozens of great restaurants, quality retails shops, and all sorts of sites. The breakfast buffet every morning is a wonderful way to start the day.

Wonderful hotel centrally located in Bologna, Only 32 rooms, with nice homemaded breakfast, Not spacious rooms, but very good beds and quiet rooms despite location is close to everything. So if you like boutigue hotel instead of big well branded hotel, this is definitely something to recommend

Excellent emplacement , personnel très serviable , petit déjeuner copieux , varié et de bonne qualité. Deco d’époque donc il faut aimer les tapisseries aux murs et les lustres murant. Literie confortable. Salle de bain ok mais sans fenêtres. Un peu bruyant car proche de la Piazza Maggiore

The property itself was excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere and a great location near many restaurants. It was also very quiet in the evenings, and I would happily stay there again if I returned to Bologna. The only reason I gave the property four stars was an unusual—and somewhat concerning—feature in the bedroom. There is a full-length mirror through which we could clearly hear food preparation and conversations from the neighboring hotel area each morning. The sound was so loud that it seemed as though the people were in the room with us, so privacy is definitely something to keep in mind (i.e. they will hear anything going on in the bedroom). One day, I returned while the housekeeper was finishing, and I noticed that the mirror was slightly ajar. I then discovered that it was actually a concealed door connecting the apartment to the hotel area next door. The housekeeper met me on the other side and closed it, but the door locks only from the hotel side—not from inside the apartment. Although the apartment was otherwise immaculate and we had a very pleasant stay, knowing that someone could potentially enter the bedroom while we could not secure the door from our side felt unsettling and should be addressed by management.
