Hotel is conveniently located, very close to the train station, the area is very walkable. The room itself is very small. We’re only stay here for one night so we don’t mind it, the room does not have any ventilation system, when you open the window, it was very loud outside, mosquito flying in in the middle of the night. They kept the hotel very clean, staff is very friendly. There is a coffee bar area, but they’re closed most of the day. And mostly are used to store luggage’s.

Beautiful property 5 min away from Duomo. We had a two bed room quite with air conditioner. Lovely room. We just stayed a night but I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay again. Parking is in an opposite building and costs $50 for 24 hours.

Hotel is centrally located close to main attractions. Room was little small for three people and service was average as the day of the departure the elevation was stuck and need to carry the big luggage downstairs. Great service to get a taxi.

Convenient Hotel close to all sites and restaurants. Great shower and bathroom. Had lift to the 2nd floor. Quiet place. Staff friendly and supportive. They printed some documents and allowed us to keep our luggage for the day.

Great location! Around the corner from Mercato Centrale, 6 minute walk from the duomo, great street with a lot of great little restaurants. A bit of a walk to the river, but really only like 15 minutes. It was clean and they were friendly. A little strange - you do have to pay a tourist tax in cash, which I think they should tell you earlier. The WiFi here sucked, was constantly in and out. The elevator was a little scary. They did enter our room even though we had the do not disturb sign up. For helpful reasons, but still. You do have to return your key to the front desk every time you leave, but they are available 24/7. Overall great location, but has its issues. Budget friendly though, so you get what you pay for.

The property is older furnishings but in great condition, very clean. We interacted with multiple members of the staff and they were all lovely. It was easy access from the train station especially in the rain. It was exactly what I expected and I was happy with our stay.

Hotel City was fabulous. Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The location is within walking distance of all the great sites. If I ever get the opportunity to visit Florence again, Hotel City will be my hotel of choice.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel City. It's well located and easily accessible. The reception staff were attentive, polite, and helpful. The room and bathroom were the ideal size and clean. They offer a good breakfast. I recommend staying there. The only downside was the acoustics in the bathrooms; you could hear noises and conversations from other rooms.

The front desk staff were kind, but the bed and pillows were rock hard, the shower drain didn't work and so the shower was overflowing, there was hair on the floor and on my bed from someone other than me (!! Gross!!) and it was really Hot because the AC was barely functional.

Make sure to check your room's bathroom situation as our bathroom was private and across the hallway, sink was provided in the room. The staff here were so wonderful - kind, helpful, friendly. For that, they deserve 5 stars. However, it wasn’t apparent on our booking that our bathroom was not in our room, but across the hall. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit inconvenient. The walls were also quite thin as we heard one of the neighboring guests very loudly in the night (and for quite some time). That made for a very unpleasant experience.

Really super staff, great hotel near both the train station and the old city… everything was walkable! Room was super clean and nicely ventilated with a screened window option. My only complaint was the wifi on the second floor in our corner room was frustratingly weak and sometimes non existent.

(4.5/5) Overall, this hotel was very nice! The staff was very friendly and nice. The only issue I had was that in before booking, the details and information of the hotel said there was Air Conditioning. There was no fan or Air conditioning in the rooms. There is only air conditioning in the lobby. That was my only complaint.

Everything is as stated by the hotel, tho the facilities is bit dated, but it's not like like they are trying to promote it as a modern hotel anyway, can tell they are trying their best to keep everything to the standard. Location and convenient are both excellent that goes without saying. Staff is exceptionally nice and helpful, our flight got delayed for hours, and arrived at the hotel at around 9 or 10pm, upon check-in they even suggest us where for dinner at those late hours, can totally count on their 24 hours reception. And I can confirm with the luggage storage at the hotel too, it is totally free, we checked out in the morning and stored our luggage until same day after dinner to pick it up, just one thing to be noticed tho, that it is not stored in a room but rather in their common area, but the staff has ensured me their safety is well covered by the CCTV, staff at the reception anytime and insurance. In short I will definitely come back to stay if I am visiting Florence again.

This is a great option to stay in the city center. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from train station and close to many monuments, including the duomo. Piazzale Michelangelo it’s about 25 minutes walk from here. Staff was kind, attentive and accommodating, from checking in to the breakfast. Recommended!

The room was small but adequate for or short stay. The elevator was out of order when trying to check out, so carrying 5 bags down the stairs was a hassle. Overall, I would have been satisfied but the last day, we went down to have breakfast at 7:05 as everything was laid out and prepared. The desk clerk stopped us and said breakfast starts at 7:30. We asked why we could not go ahead since it was all ready. He said because it starts at 7:30. We told him we had a train to catch, so he told us to wait a few minutes while he “checked on something.” We stood around waiting but he never told us what we were actually waiting on. Finally we just handed him the keys and left. Ate at McDonalds across from the train station. This was the only person we had trouble with as the other front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Convenient Hotel close to all sites and restaurants. Great shower and bathroom. Had lift to the 2nd floor. Quiet place. Staff friendly and supportive. They printed some documents and allowed us to keep our luggage for the day.

This is a great option to stay in the city center. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from train station and close to many monuments, including the duomo. Piazzale Michelangelo it’s about 25 minutes walk from here. Staff was kind, attentive and accommodating, from checking in to the breakfast. Recommended!

Hotel City was fabulous. Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The location is within walking distance of all the great sites. If I ever get the opportunity to visit Florence again, Hotel City will be my hotel of choice.

Location is great! 8 minute walk to train station and food market is at the end of the block. Bargain for the location! Rooms were good size and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

La habitación muy bonita y confortable. La ubicación es excelente! Es posible caminar el centro histórico y a la vez encontrar muy buenos restaurantes cerca. La estación de tren se encuentra muy cerca, lo que facilita moverse a otras ciudades. El desayuno podría mejorarse. Muy buena atención y abiertos a las oportunidades de mejora. Muy amables con sus recomendaciones.

We intentional book hotels with breakfast, but arrived to find it was closed (maybe for remodel). Really thought orbits listed it with breakfast. Fine stay overall but would have chosen different had this been conveyed.

The room was clean, quite small, beds were rock hard, overall it was just an average hotel room for the price I would’ve expected a little more. The air-conditioning didn’t quite work we could not control it. The breakfast was very plain and they ran out of eggs at 9:40 am and would not bring more because they were expecting less people. They do not give you any time to check out a little later unless they charge you for it. Overall, it’s an old hotel but the location was very good.

The room had a very strong perfume - it was spotlessly clean and comfortable, but if you are sensitive to smells like I am, you may find it too strong. For me it was hard to breathe at first and I let the front desk know not to spray the room the following days and I was ok once we aired the room for a couple of hours. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, with many of the major attractions just a short walk away. There are also lots of restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of options for dining. Public transportation is very convenient, making it easy to get to and from the airport as well as explore the city. Overall, the location was perfect and made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
