Very convenient driving there. The room was clean and very welcoming. The bus station was right next to the hotel. Free parking was great. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. Enjoyed everything about this place.

This hotel is a hidden jewel in the residential area of Florence. Our room was clean, well decorated, and quite charming. We liked it very much. The hotel is well located. About 30 min walk (or a few bus stops) to Ponte Vecchio. Parking seems quite difficult/expensive in Florence. So, we really appreciated that the hotel offered parking for free. However, parking space seems to be limited, and we went during low season; things might be different in other periods. Breakfast was good with a good variety of choices. The hotel also provided some limited free beverages (including wine and beer during their ‘aperitivo hour’). It was very much appreciated. The staff is cordial and welcoming. Were we to return to Florence, we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Superb value for the money. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary parking, happy hour, breakfast and around the clock coffee and refreshments is a better deal than I have experienced anywhere and I travelled the world as part of my profession for 40 years.

Check-in was super easy, friendly and informative. Free coffee/cappuccino, happy hour every night with free drinks - wine, beer, water-and food- little pizzas, chips, cheese and meats. Free breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and adequate. Shower was ok( door a little loose and shower floor a little slippery. Great location. Easy 20 minute walk to central Florence but lots of restaurants around. Outside of hotel was surrounded by trees and had a nice terrace in front. Checkout was easy, they gave us a nice bar of soap as a gift and called a cab for us Would recommend staying here.

What a fantastic stay at Hotel David. The hotel description is exactly as described, but even better when you stay there. All of the staff was wonderful, super friendly and attentive. The free hot breakfast was amazing. Having access to free coffee and tea throughout the day was such a nice perk. And the free happy hour was a great way to meet other guests and enjoy some flatbread pizza and wine. There are bus stops super close and taxi stand literally within steps of the hotel. The hotel was so clean and our room was so comfortable. Beds were comfy and the shower was amazing. We cannot wait to return!

The property is lovely. They have a great Happy hour and breakfast. Our one night there we woke up to no hot water so taking a cold cup ld shower was your only option. Staff was lively, but no apologies for the lack of hot water…

Hotel David was a highlight of our vacation. Staff was friendly and acommodating , rooms were beautiful; exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We loved the happy hour and common sitting areas-indoor and outside. Breakfast was wonderful and they provided great vegan options for us:)

The hotel is located in a charming building about 20 minutes from the historic city centre. Very friendly staff all around. We liked the breakfast and enjoyed the happy hour with wine, beer and snacks that is being held every day. The room was clean. Unfortunately, our toilet broke one evening during our stay and would no longer flush. The issue could not be resolved (even though the friendly night staff attempted to fix it) so we resorted to using a public bathroom down the hall for said evening, the night and the following morning, which was somewhat inconvenient as we had to get dressed for our bathroom outings during the night. The toilet was fixed during the following day. As we were paying about EUR 300/night, I would have expected the issue to be brought up afterwards by management and/or reflected in the invoice but neither happened.

The most important part to me is cleanliness and Hotel David does not disappoint. Bright clean and fresh sheets, sparkling clean bathroom. Such perfect and professional service. They really go out of their way to make sure your stay is smooth and comfortable! Extremely helpful with tips to explore the city. We only stayed one night but they even gave us a small gift at check out. Thank you again!!!

Hotel David was excellent. Starting and ending with the staff - from the front desk to Marcella at the breakfast room, the staff were fantastic. Our Italian is not great, but they were understanding and spoke English well enough to accomplish all we needed. Breakfast was simple and effective with multiple protein options, fruit and pastries. Happy hour included a couple flatbreads that were quite good (and I have gluten allergies). The wines at happy hour I would describe as table wines. Our room was made up every day and impeccably clean and we looked closely. King bed and balcony were nice to haves and I wish we would have taken more advantage of there courtyard out front - traffic noise while outside, but plenty of trees and still nice. The staff also provided us with several dinner recommendations and all three were exceptional. The staff make the difference at Hotel David. Thanks much Hotel David team!

From the minute we checked in I wished we had more time at this place. I cannot tell you how friendly and welcoming the staff was here. Nice room with high ceilings. Comfortable bathroom with enclosed shower and amazing smelling bath products. We arrived too late to enjoy the happy hour but it looked amazing. Lots of cozy places to sit and tons of options. Breakfast was incredible one of the best croissants I have ever had and the nicest lady working the breakfast room. I did not want to leave. The day we checked out it was raining and the kind desk man walked us out to our taxi with umbrellas and they gifted us a bar of soap. So So nice. Would definitely recommend and return. The only downside would be that it was a lot further of a walk than we had thought from the maps to the center of town for the Uffizi and Duomo. So if you want to walk plan ahead. With a taxi it is very close. Lovely place, lovely garden and lovely people.

The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast and the happy hour that were included several times. The front desk people were extremely helpful. One helped me find a very unique souvenir for my daughter. It was a 25 minute walk to where most of the action was in Florence, but we really enjoyed the walking.

Was not do bad of a walk to center Restaurants around All the coffee and water you can stand to drink great! Nice breakfast scrambled eggs and cold cuts your normal fruit yogurt cereal. Great shower pressure!!!! No problem! Big body towels fantastic!! Room tad small but had patio.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! We stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony. The breakfast was great, the free cocktail hour with snacks was so much fun, and the staff was wonderful! It's located in a quiet area across the river, which we loved. It's about a 25 minute walk into the center of Florence. Highly recommend!

Check-in was super easy, friendly and informative. Free coffee/cappuccino, happy hour every night with free drinks - wine, beer, water-and food- little pizzas, chips, cheese and meats. Free breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and adequate. Shower was ok( door a little loose and shower floor a little slippery. Great location. Easy 20 minute walk to central Florence but lots of restaurants around. Outside of hotel was surrounded by trees and had a nice terrace in front. Checkout was easy, they gave us a nice bar of soap as a gift and called a cab for us Would recommend staying here.

What a fantastic stay at Hotel David. The hotel description is exactly as described, but even better when you stay there. All of the staff was wonderful, super friendly and attentive. The free hot breakfast was amazing. Having access to free coffee and tea throughout the day was such a nice perk. And the free happy hour was a great way to meet other guests and enjoy some flatbread pizza and wine. There are bus stops super close and taxi stand literally within steps of the hotel. The hotel was so clean and our room was so comfortable. Beds were comfy and the shower was amazing. We cannot wait to return!

Hotel David was excellent. Starting and ending with the staff - from the front desk to Marcella at the breakfast room, the staff were fantastic. Our Italian is not great, but they were understanding and spoke English well enough to accomplish all we needed. Breakfast was simple and effective with multiple protein options, fruit and pastries. Happy hour included a couple flatbreads that were quite good (and I have gluten allergies). The wines at happy hour I would describe as table wines. Our room was made up every day and impeccably clean and we looked closely. King bed and balcony were nice to haves and I wish we would have taken more advantage of there courtyard out front - traffic noise while outside, but plenty of trees and still nice. The staff also provided us with several dinner recommendations and all three were exceptional. The staff make the difference at Hotel David. Thanks much Hotel David team!

Breakfast was incredible one of the best croissants I have ever had and the nicest lady working the breakfast room. I did not want to leave. The day we checked out it was raining and the kind desk man walked us out to our taxi with umbrellas and they gifted us a bar of soap. So So nice. Would definitely recommend and return. The only downside would be that it was a lot further of a walk than we had thought from the maps to the center of town for the Uffizi and Duomo. So if you want to walk plan ahead. With a taxi it is very close. Lovely place, lovely garden and lovely people.

We’ve traveled from Paris to Switzerland, to Florence, to Rome, to Venice and rovinj Croatia. This hotel was beautiful, free beers every day. From 630-8pm it’s happy hour which includes a huge assortment of food from cheese & crackers to pizza. Free beer and wine. AC works excellent, highly recommend this hotel and when I come back to Florence I will 100% be staying at this beautiful hotel. Staff were unbelievably great, from the front desk to the hard working lady doing the free breakfast service which was excellent aswell.

From arrival staff we found staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. On departure they went above and beyond in helping us to get the local bus to the train station, due to an unexpected taxi driver strike. Front of house went above and beyond. Will definitely stay again at Hotel David

This hotel was amazing! Beautiful, lovely courtyards, cocktail hour and free breakfast. Room was large and bathroom very nice. Staff were so nice! It is a bit out of the way in Florence so be prepared to walk 30 minutes to major tourist attractions and restaurants. The walk was worth it for the peace and quiet of the hotel.

This hotel is a gem located just far enough away from the crazy pace of the center city, yet not too far to be walkable. With a public transit stop right in front of the hotel, it is very easy to go to main attractions. Cleanliness and character are excellent. Quality of included breakfast and social hour were fantastic. Service was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hotel David was a highlight of our vacation. Staff was friendly and acommodating , rooms were beautiful; exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We loved the happy hour and common sitting areas-indoor and outside. Breakfast was wonderful and they provided great vegan options for us:)

Everything was extraordinary at Hotel David. Staff helped with some logistical items before we even arrived. Breakfast and Happy Hour were amazing and the food offered at HH could replace dinner. Perhaps a little farther away from the Florence sights but with the bus system extremely manageable! 5 Star plus!!!

Free breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and adequate. Shower was ok( door a little loose and shower floor a little slippery. Great location. Easy 20 minute walk to central Florence but lots of restaurants around. Outside of hotel was surrounded by trees and had a nice terrace in front. Checkout was easy, they gave us a nice bar of soap as a gift and called a cab for us Would recommend staying here.

The staff was excellent, the breakfast was excellent with choice, quality and quantity. The happy hour meet and greet along with beverages and snacks was awesome. Location-based was great and with parking...centrally located easy access to Florence.....just excellent

What a gem so close to the city! The private garden around the hotel was so peaceful to sit in, as well as the breakfast area. Our room was quant and comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. So glad we chose to stay here. I would 100% come back and stay again!!!!

100% I would recommend this hotel. Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but only a 15 minute stroll to the city centre, as well as a bus stop outside. Please arrange your itinerary around the fabulous happy hour which the hotel provide everyday. The breakfast is great including gluten free options which my wife was delighted with.

The staff along with all the amenities made our stay very amazing. The breakfast and the happy hour were very nice. We meet a few other copies and had a great visit. I will most certainly book here again when I return to Florence.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning to leave our bags and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. When we came back to check in they went through all the things the hotel offered and we were very very happy about it. From free coffee, complementary drinks to happy hour! Very nice room, good temperature when we arrived despite the killing heat this weekend. Overall very happy about our stay and we would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence!
