The hotel building is 250 years old according to the hotel staff. It would not be surprised that some facilities may be out of date :such as the elevator & air circulation system. It is a good location though to the attractions in Florence .

Great location, good value for the price. We travelled late October and it was very warm in our room. As far as we understood, there is no AC only a fan, opening the windows was not really an option due to the zanzare. There were some death moscitos on the walls. So the people before must also have been on the hunt. It was already mentioned that there are some stairs to get to the elevator. So for elderlies or handicapped it might be a little hassle. However, the building is very old and very charming.

Embora antiquado oferece instalações confortáveis, banheiro pequeno mas funcional, localização muito boa, vários restaurantes de boa qualidade nas vizinhanças, principais pontos turísticos acessíveis a pé. As pessoas mais idosas talvez não gostem da escadaria na entrada e do elevador que comporta 1 só hóspede.

Embora antiquado oferece instalações confortáveis, banheiro pequeno mas funcional, localização muito boa, vários restaurantes de boa qualidade nas vizinhanças, principais pontos turísticos acessíveis a pé. As pessoas mais idosas talvez não gostem da escadaria na entrada e do elevador que comporta 1 só hóspede.

Very conveniently located near the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, this hotel is a nice hidden deal. While the 19 steps to get into the lobby are a bit steep for someone with a heavy bag, there is an elevator for getting to your room from there. The bedding is plain, even dated, but warm in winter.

セルフチェックインをしようとしたら、選択項目がなくほてるにメールしたら、ホテルでチェックインできるから問題ないと、すぐ返事をくれたり、チェックイン、アウトの対応も良かった。朝食のお世話をしていた女性もとても感じが良かった。エアコンがないのがネックで、夜まどを開けないと暑く、虫が入ったり、通りの音がうるさかった。

La verdad su peor tema son las escaleras, si eres joven aun no será un problema pero si tienes alguna discapacidad será un tormento. Los de recepción fueron amables hasta cierto punto, un trato diferente con nosotros siendo Mexicanos que con los demás siendo europeos, fuera de eso, no me gusto que el check out fuera tan temprano y el check in tan tarde. Espero que pueda mejorar en un futuro.

La verdad su peor tema son las escaleras, si eres joven aun no será un problema pero si tienes alguna discapacidad será un tormento. Clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. No need for 3rd bed for 2 people. Very very narrow bath. Can’t move in shower. Lousy elevator. Very pricey at 290 euro/night for such facility. No eggs in breakfast. After I put in my checkin review at Expedia, hotel manager did offer room swap after 2 nights, for room with better size bath.

Excellent location. A few minutes walk from the train station. A few minutes walk to Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the main shopping area. Room is clean, but dark. Noisy at night because our room is close to the street. The bathroom needs to be upgraded. The shower room is just a corner of the bathroom with a shower curtain and a drain. We have to clean up the water every time after the shower as the floor gets so wet regardless how careful you showed. The breakfast is so-so with limited selections. It is nice that the hotel puts a bottle of wine in the fridge for us to enjoy for free. We don’t drink but appreciate the offering.

Great location to explore the city. The room is freshly renovated, very comfortable mattress. My only wish would be another socket near the bed. The cleaner in this place is 12 out of 10!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room had everything needed, including a fridge and water kettle to make tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Superb cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, with lots of different choices, prepared with attention to every detail, in a warm and quiet atmosphere.

Great little hotel! The room was excellent, it was affordable, breakfast was really great! And unlike apparently every other hotel in Italy, the wifi worked and was fast and rock solid. You should stay here!!

The perfect location in Florence. Just a five minute walk from the train station and all the main sights and attrations are mostly within a 10-15 minute walk away. It’s conveniently located and made my stay in Florence more pleasant. My room was larger than I expected and the AC was strong, which is a plus during the hot summer days. Unfortunately, the bed is not very comfortable and the pillows were very flat. I arrived at the appropriate check-in time, but my room wasn’t ready and I was asked to delay my check-in an extra hour. It wasn’t too much of a problem as they held my luggage and I took the time to explore the city while waiting. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Loved the location and the spacious clean room. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be for better beds and pillows.

Passamos apenas uma noite no hotel, que nos atendeu super bem. O quarto era bem espaçoso, o banheiro apenas o box para banho um pouco pequeno. Para acessar precisa subir breves escadas, para nós que estavamos com malas pequenas nao foi problema.

First of all, the staff are super nice and very helpful. They genuinely want to make your visit to Florence enjoyable. The location couldn't be better. Very close to the train station, a two minute walk to the tram that goes right to the airport and so close to all the monuments, museums, restaurants and shops. The rooms are perfect for dropping your bags and exploring the city. They are typical of a major international city - not huge but they have fully equipped bathrooms, lots of towels, comfy beds, mini-fridges, etc. Great value in an excellent location. Very safe.

セルフチェックインをしようとしたら、選択項目がなくほてるにメールしたら、ホテルでチェックインできるから問題ないと、すぐ返事をくれたり、チェックイン、アウトの対応も良かった。朝食のお世話をしていた女性もとても感じが良かった。エアコンがないのがネックで、夜まどを開けないと暑く、虫が入ったり、通りの音がうるさかった。

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room had everything needed, including a fridge and water kettle to make tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Superb cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, with lots of different choices, prepared with attention to every detail, in a warm and quiet atmosphere.

La verdad su peor tema son las escaleras, si eres joven aun no será un problema pero si tienes alguna discapacidad será un tormento. Los de recepción fueron amables hasta cierto punto, un trato diferente con nosotros siendo Mexicanos que con los demás siendo europeos, fuera de eso, no me gusto que el check out fuera tan temprano y el check in tan tarde. Espero que pueda mejorar en un futuro.

The perfect location in Florence. Just a five minute walk from the train station and all the main sights and attrations are mostly within a 10-15 minute walk away. It’s conveniently located and made my stay in Florence more pleasant. My room was larger than I expected and the AC was strong, which is a plus during the hot summer days. Unfortunately, the bed is not very comfortable and the pillows were very flat. I arrived at the appropriate check-in time, but my room wasn’t ready and I was asked to delay my check-in an extra hour. It wasn’t too much of a problem as they held my luggage and I took the time to explore the city while waiting. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Loved the location and the spacious clean room. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be for better beds and pillows.

Hotel tem localização excelente, a 3 minutos de caminhada da Igreja de Santa Maria del Fiore, staff do hotel foram super atenciosos e alegres. Nos presentearam no quarto com um vinho frisante delicioso. Recomendamos muito o hotel e com certeza voltaremos.

Embora antiquado oferece instalações confortáveis, banheiro pequeno mas funcional, localização muito boa, vários restaurantes de boa qualidade nas vizinhanças, principais pontos turísticos acessíveis a pé. As pessoas mais idosas talvez não gostem da escadaria na entrada e do elevador que comporta 1 só hóspede.

Embora antiquado oferece instalações confortáveis, banheiro pequeno mas funcional, localização muito boa, vários restaurantes de boa qualidade nas vizinhanças, principais pontos turísticos acessíveis a pé. Excellent location. A few minutes walk from the train station. A few minutes walk to Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the main shopping area. Room is clean, but dark. Noisy at night because our room is close to the street. The bathroom needs to be upgraded. The shower room is just a corner of the bathroom with a shower curtain and a drain. We have to clean up the water every time after the shower as the floor gets so wet regardless how careful you showed. The breakfast is so-so with limited selections. It is nice that the hotel puts a bottle of wine in the fridge for us to enjoy for free. We don’t drink but appreciate the offering.

Clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. No need for 3rd bed for 2 people. Very very narrow bath. Can’t move in shower. Lousy elevator. Very pricey at 290 euro/night for such facility. No eggs in breakfast. After I put in my checkin review at Expedia, hotel manager did offer room swap after 2 nights, for room with better size bath.

Close to square and daily excursions and within walking distance to some great restaurants. I chose breakfast option with booking with Expedia but the desk person said we were not entitled to breakfast. It was a little embarrassing when approached as making a plate. Other than that, it was enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located, altho the area certainly was a busy one. Room was small, but we were really only there for sleeping anyway. The bed was comfortable. Did not partake of the breakfast, so no comment on that. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I love everything about this stay. Kind staff, clean room, near the train station. Super walkable to all the main sites as well. Best location! I would definitely stay here again. Not to mention, free water!

We stayed 3 nights here a week ago and overall had a good experience. The best part is the location. We walked to all the important areas of Florence from the hotel. There are excellent restaurants nearby. Not all staff is friendly. Charles was was the one who checked us in and he was not friendly. The woman called Edi was very nice. If you do stairs , don’t stay here. Room was clean. Beds were hard. It’s super close to the train station. I think charging extra for the little breakfast they offer is cheap of them. This hotel gets the job done but full of perks.
