While this hotel has undergone excellent upgrades, there’s numerous shortcomings in our view. As an example, the shower stalls we viewed had no place to put soap, razor or other shower needs. Shower floor extremely slippery! The rooms had paper cups only, no glasses. Very limited places to hang clothing and other items out of place. Two old elevators were small and very slow to responding. The breakfast buffet was very good will a helpful, friendly staff.

Excellent location. Elevators need upgrades for ease of passage and avoiding delays. Not much you can do about it, but many of the airline guests were jerks.

Beautiful property situated away from the high traffic tourist areas. Rooftop bar & restaurant offered fantastic views of the city and quiet reprieve from a day of sight-seeing. Walkable to several great restaurants, bars, and high-end shopping.

Great hotel and good location. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. Staff really friendly. Rooftop bar was lovely. We were on third floor near lifts and over night it was a bit noisy from what sounded like staff moving trolleys. Other than that would deff stay again and recommend

Overall it was a fantastic stay for one night. The AC could have been better but we were barely in the room. Very close to all the sites you’d want to see and easy to get around. The staff was wonderful and the rooftop bar was a great place to end the evening.

The staff a friendly, professional and ready to help. The hotel and our room was clean and very spacious. The 2 issues we had with our room was the bed and the shower. The bed is somewhat soft but doesn't provide a lot of support, we would still prefer it over some of the stiffer beds we've slept on in Italy. The shower, while long, is not very wide, which made the bathing process a bit difficult and uncomfortable at times. But there were plenty of toiletries made available, better than most other hotels we've stayed at in Italy. The restaurant was just OK. The food was a 6/10. Given the amount we paid, and the flavor/quality, it was definitely not worth it. It was the equivalent of what an average college student would make in their apartment. We would not recommend eating at the restaurant, but save that money and spend it at an actual restaurant.

Our room carpet was terribly stained and smelled musty and dirty. The safe would not work. The furniture was extremely scared up. NOT 5 star class more like 1-2 star hotel. Rooftop waitress never came to ask us what we would like to drink. Everyone had to go inside and tell her what they wanted. On the plus side, the breakfast was wonderful and staff there was terrific along with front desk.

The staff was wonderful and accomodating. Room was clean. Morning breakfast was much more than I expected for a European country.We could easily walk to historical areas, restaurants, and bars. I would absolutely stay here again.

Robert in concierge was fantastic. They helped us book our tickets to the Vatican. Breakfast was great. Rooms were always tidy and comfortable

This property had great aroma in lobby area but the rooms we were assigned to often had a foul odor seemingly related to sewage airflow.

What a lovely place to stay. Old world charm but with present day comforts - from a very comfy bed to a varied and delicious breakfast. Staff went above and beyond to make us have a great stay. We will stay here again

Great location. I am traveling as single my room 118 was large but on first floor in back long walk from front entrance no view but quiet with large open windows to internal courtyard clean but that space has mechanical equipment not for viewing good for fresh air. Comfortable bed and large vanity in bathroom for toiletries and make up bags. Hot water kettle and instant Nescafé in room for coffee. I would book here again.

Överlag bra hotell. Vi hade dock rum på 6e våningen, samma som restaurang/bar, vilket kunde bli lite högljutt på kvällarna… På fredagar och lördagar så har baren hög musik fram till midnatt.

Hotel was worn down. Air conditioning didn’t work, water heater was broken and shower head was leaking. Would not stay there again.

An extremely tired hotel property with outdated uncomfortable rooms and amenities. It was like staying somewhere in a bygone age ! excellent location though in a lovely area of Rome.

The front desk staff left people in the lobby instead of getting them into rooms. Loads of exhausted international travelers were sleeping in the lobby because the front desk staff did not care about getting them into rooms early. Great hotel. Awful experience.

We had a lovely time at The Savoy hotel and really enjoyed the Roof Terrace at night where we could relax and have a drink. The breakfast was really nice and the staff there were very accommodating as we wanted a bigger table due to the numbers in our party and this wasn't an issue at all. In fact after the first morning there was a table for five set out for us, which was lovely. The location was really good and you could walk 10 minutes to get to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. We never used public transport, we just walked everywhere. The Colleseum was roughly a 40 minute walk which took us much longer as there were many photo opportunities on the way. The only thing which was slightly disappointing regarding the Savoy was on arrival ( check in from 2pm ), we arrived at 3pm after travelling 11 hours from Sheffield England, the system had gone down and the staff couldn't check us in. We were told to leave the bags with the porter and come back in a while. This was a bit frustrating, not because the system had gone down ,things happen, but I believe it would have been nice for them to offer us a complimentary drink and a sit down until it was sorted instead of us having to go back out on the streets, tired and very hot to find somewhere. The Hotel did redeem itself a bit as that evening when we returned to the hotel after sightseeing there was a complimentary bottle of wine left in both rooms but no explanation as to why, we just presumed it was due to the check in

This hotel was two blocks from the ‘Big Bus- the hop on hop off bus that was a big part of our stay. I lost my wallet in the taxi that took us to the train station. I called the hotel. The concierge contacted the taxi driver. He found my wallet and delivered it to me at the train station. I was so relieved. Thanks to the Savoy staff.

Nothing spectacular. I spent over $500 for one nignt in Rome for sub par service. The young receptionists at check in were rude and asked my mother to open up her briefcase in the lobby for her passport after many hours of traveling. This could have been approached differently. You can get better service at a smaller B and B hotel around the city for many days at the same price. I won't be returning to the Savoy any time soon.

Walking distance of Trevi fountain & hop-on-hop-off bus stop just down the road. Easy reach of Metro station & connection to train station.

The Hotel Savoy’s location and Rooftop Restaurant/Bar was perfect for our Roma trip. The service was impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The beds are very firm, and the carpets need to be updated in the rooms but we still loved our stay here.

Prima hotel aan de rand van het centrum. Alles was oké behalve het ontbijt. Het ontbijt is een gaarkeuken met absoluut de slechtste ingrediënten. Koffie uit een machine en nietbtebdrinkem, het eigerecht komt uit een pakje. Werkelijk nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt.

fantastic trip- service was perfect- breakfast was one of the best ive had as a buffet

The hotel is very old but nicely updated. They offered dining and had a roof top bar. The price for food and drinks at the hotel was definitely on the high end for the area. The room was very nice with a large bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The cleaning staff were very good. The bell person was very helpful. The front desk was hit and miss with being helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The property is nice and is in a pretty nice area close to Spanish Steps. It’s not far from a metro with close access to Roma Termini. The Rooftop is beautiful. Keeping above in mind, you will need to weigh the next items. The Restaurant food is sub-par for the beautiful Rooftop that it cooks for. The Rooftop is great on its own right, but the views from it are too far away to see any attractions. It was also vacant. If you want a drink in a quiet, beautiful setting, it attains that. The Breakfast buffet was ok and the staff is pleasant. Bring water with if staying more than one night.
