Hotel Champagne Palace

Poor attention, no phone in the room, the towels are very bad quality, no restaurants in the hotel, no even a cafeteria. The area is good… The only good thing about the hotel.

The hotel has charming classic features, the bed was comfortable and the location is good. However i can't see how a 4-star classification is fitting for this hotel. It lacks certain luxury you would find at a 4-star hotel amd even basics like a coffeemachine in the room.

Was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was very small. No ice machine. Towels were very small and thin. Unsafe area around the hotel. You had to put in your room card in a slot to get the lights on and the AC, so when you leave with your card the AC turns off. So when you come back your room is hot.

Tutto perfetto. Se avete i bagagli pesanti però non fa per voi perchè ci sono tanti gradini usurati per accedervi.

This hotel was in a great location. Some features outdated but very enjoyable. Bags placed in unsecured location before checkin. But had no issues. If packing heavy- great choice. Has working elevator. Would recommend and would stay again.

HORRIBLE. This IS NOT a 4 star hotel, more like 1 check. There is no breakfast voucher or renovation to dining area as listed. There were dirty towels in the room. The hotel is poorly maintained. Bathrooms tiles are falling apart. One thin linen on beds. Power went out and elevator out longer.

Our stay at the Champagne Palace Hotel in Rome was far from ideal. The hotel was dirty, and the noise levels were quite high, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The staff was generally unfriendly, which made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. Additionally, there was no elevator at the entrance, which was particularly inconvenient for handling luggage. For the price we paid, it felt overly expensive considering the quality of the experience we received. The only positive aspect was that it was the only hotel available at the time, but in hindsight, we would have preferred not to stay there at all.

The hotel was clean and staff helpful when asked, the decor is very dated and needs to be modernised. I got a superior room and expected more than a bed and cupboards and small fridge, there was a kettle and tea and coffee (not much) but no milk. It's location was ideal as it was very central making it easy walk to any of the major sites.

Very classy but old. No breakfast. When you leave lugage, no ticket given. TV did not work.

The location is the only good thing about this place. 5 minutes walking distance to the train station. BUT the room was terrible. Moldy shower curtain and walls, very dirty blanket, not even folded, in the closet, very dirty floors, and etc. If you don’t care about the place you’re staying and you just want somewhere close to the train station, this might be your choice but I still think you may be able to find a cleaner space in the areas

Hotel in condizioni pessime,stanza sporchissima. Moquette piena di sporcizia e non pulita da chissà quanto tempo. Macchie di umidità sul soffitto del bagno,perdite dalla doccia,porta sapone arrugginito,tenda nella doccia sporca e rotta. Tende piene di macchie sensazione di dormire nello sporco. Non so davvero come questo hotel possa avere 4 stelle perché anche 1 sarebbe troppo. Colazione non disponibile neanche a pagamento. Andrebbe cancellato dalle strutture consigliate.

L'hotel è vicinissimo alla stazione termini e facile da raggiungere in una zona non isolata e ben illuminata. La struttura e molto pulita, ed anche se un po retrò curata e ben tenuta. Anche le stanze silenziose e ben riscaldate. Il materasso comodissimo forse il cuscino un po morbido. Il personale gentilissimo. Come lati negativi non era disponibile la colazione e kit cortesia in bagnk molto essenziale e spartano. Le asciugamani non tutte in spugna, ma alcune in tela. Ci tornerò sicuramente

El ambiente del hotel por fuera no es lo que me esperaba pero por dentro es otra cosa, todo muy bonito y muy limpio.

The hotel is not clean - fungus/mold in the shower, stains on the walls, and what looked crumbling plaster on the carpet. Bathroom door was partially broken, security lock on room door was broken. Could hear everything everyone was saying in adjacent rooms and in the hallway.

No corresponde a un hotel de 4 estrellas. Habitaciones obsoletas y baño bastante sucio.

Walls were thin and the bathroom smelled of mould but otherwise decent place.

The walls had molde and water damage, the shower was clogged and even after we reported the problem for 2 days nothing was done about it. The fridge was also damaged and we lost our food also reported for more than 2 days and nothing was done about it. The hotel is close to everything but it is in very poor conditions. !!!

The Hotel is in need of upgrading , although the recpetion area was ok , the hotel is tired and shabby . My single room however was disgraceful . It was barely more than a cupboard and the bed not a full single , A cabinet had cigarette burns but the bathroom was truly terrible . There was thick black mould around the base of the shower tray and heavy staining up the sides . The toliet too was very stained and unpleasant . I would have left but they had no other room available . So I put up for 3 nights . I can provide photographs . The room should not be let out. Perhaps they do not care as I was their on my own.

I had taken the last plan into Rome from the airport. Got to my room at 2 am and had to be out of my room at 10 am . Expensive 8 hours. I did stay another night in another room that was bigger than the last

La stanza, se così si può chiamare, è di 4 metri quadri. Se poggi la borsa, non ti puoi mettere sul letto. Mai indecenza peggiore.

It really was the tiniest room I have ever had in years of travelling, one single bed. No way you can open any door (washroom, main or closet) if your luggage is not on the bed. And I had a view on the back emergency stairs lol! On the + side, location was awesome, 6 mins walk from Roma Termini. Room was quiet, had a good sleep (2 nights) and washroom ok (although some mildew at the bottom of the shower door). No way this is a 4* but it did the job.

Shower is very very very tiny and the hot water was hot only i complained then it became cold water only the ac was only hot the whole time

The room looks NOTHING like what they advertised in the pictures. From the pics you can see a desk, a window and a bed, BUT IT CAME ONLY WITH THE BED, AND NO SPACE EVEN FOR THE OTHER AMENETIES THEY ADVERSTIED. Worst even, the hotel staff is really rude, not only to me but to the other guests as well that I saw - some of them need some serious anger management courses too. The hotel was dirty and the furniture looks very cheap. I woudln't recommend anyone, specially if you will spend alot of time in the room (it doesn't even have sunlight!), even if the location is central- but they might scam you with the rooms!

Hotel is old and need for some upgrades, the ac in our room was noisy and we have to set a low speed because the noise, so, the didn't get cold enough. Also in the morning we can Heard everything in the street even a small talk. I'll not book again.

Camera singola troppo piccola e stretta cauteofobica

The queen size room didn’t even allow space for two carry on bags. The shower leaked outside of the shower if you turned up the water. The walls in the room were filthy. The window opened but had blinds that were chained shut so you couldn’t no see out.

La stanza singola probabilmente non risponde alle norme minime, sembrava più una cabina armadio che una stanza. A occhio direi che non avese più di 9 m2, ma pagata come un 4 stelle a Madrid. Ci stava appena il letto e lo spazio per passare al bagno. Il piatto doccia non scaricava e rigurgitava melma, ho dovuto lavarmi a pezzi fuori dalla doccia perché faceva schifo mettere i piedi in quella doccia. Il lmaterassso a molle mezzo sgangherato, ho dormito malissimo.

Very tiny room, not what i thought i was getting

Jibon the receptionists was a great gentleman, who had all the time to help in any situation. He was polite,caring and professional. Jibon was always there to help in the 4 days i stayed there. This hotel is lucky to have a employee Jibon of his character and strength in all areas in customer relationships.

I like old hotels and the staff was very nice. They let us check in earlier and left our luggage after check out. Comfy for a couple of days and not expensive.

The staff seemed very mistrustful of their guests. When I checked in, I was quickly and rather sternly reminded that the check out time is at 10am. That was unnecessary.

This hotel is a few blocks from the train station and very convenient to Roma Termini. The hotel was in great shape. The room was comfortable. The staff were nice.

Stayed at this hotel from 13 January 2025 to 16 January 2025. My experience - If I could give a minus 5 star, I would. Where do I start? I had booked a single room for the duration. This room can induce claustrophobia in people who never had it before. The walls are scratched and has several stain marks. Rushed to the reception and requested another room. The receptionist's attitude was rude to say the least. He demanded 80 euros to upgrade to a double room. It was 9pm and I had a long day. I paid 80 euros and he gave me key to the upgraded room. It was larger, relatively. I left my bags in the room and went out to get something to eat. Came back to the room, went to shower and I smelled human feces in the bathroom. I couldn't take it anymore. I called the reception and reported this. The receptionist came to inspect the bathroom. He was unconvinced and I pointed the bits on the bathroom floor, yet he still didn't seem to believe me. Then he said I can get another room, but I'll have to go down to the reception to collect the key. No apology, no politeness, no basic decency. He was rude and his attitude was such that as if I was lying. By the way, unless you call reception and report that there is no hot water, there won't be hot water to shower.

It was central. Staff couldn’t be bothered - there were three people from separate rooms complaining about not having hot water as we were checking and when we got to our room we had no hot water. We asked staff for help on how to get somewhere or suggestions on places to eat….. their responses and body language said everything…. Couldn't be bothered…. I think i have only said this about two other places and i have traveled extensively for both pleasure and business globally…. Book somewhere else

Hotel was good for a couple of days in Rome. It has an Excellent location, 2 blocks from Termini ni, And very close to many places to see. We had a good Experience at this hotel.

A place to sleep. For those who complain about this property; you should know exactly what you are getting for what you paid (1/2 the price of other 4 star hotels) making this an actual 2 starts, but enough to get your sleep after a long day touring Rome. Area kind of sketchy (all of Termini area is) but never felt unsafe, and surprisingly, lots of restaurantes around.

Trategic location. Friendly and helpful staff. Staff don't respect the no smoking rule. Good value for money but no breakfast. Very narrow shower with poor drainage.

This hotel is absolutely not worth the cost! Once you get to your room, it’s nothing like the pictures, it smells, and the bathroom is too small for toilet and shower. The towels are like dish towels. There is no breakfast offered. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s location for Rome Termini. I would not stay here again.

Koselig hotell, fint rom med stort bad. God frokostbuffet inkludert med hyggelig og serviceorientert betjening. Ligger sentralt til med kort avstand til Termini og Roma sentrum.

Non e un 4 stelle ma un 4 stalle ,La prima sera abbiamo fatto la doccia con l'acqua fredda perché eravamo al sesto piano e l'acqua calda faticava ad arrivare...non hanno cambiato un asciugamano usato, ho prenotato una camera matrimoniale,e mi hanno dato una doppia con letti separati...dopo aver prenotato mi hanno mandato un email che la colazione non era disponibile perché il locale colazioni era in ristrutturazione... Nel complesso e un locale datato che arriva ad una stella.
