Comfortable apartment 3 on Lake Constance Friedrichshafen

I originally booked this property from May 19 - Friday May 24, 2024 at a much lower price which the owner cancelled because he said he had not figured in the 2024 prices. I had already let him know we were coming from California for a family reunion in Germany with my husband’s family. I had no choice but to rebook this property adding 1 day for checkout at a new significantly higher price. That is not the worst of it. Our German family are extremely clean people. When we arrived there before any groceries could be put away my niece Jenny spent over an hour cleaning the large refrigerator in the main kitchen because it was so gross. In the downstairs basement bathroom and bedrooms there were hundreds of little black bugs crawling everywhere. My sister-in-laws just kept vacuuming them up. The entire house was dusty and dirty with cobwebs everywhere. I do have a lot of photos of all this. I also have a niece named Jessi that was the only person receiving communication from Herman’s wife Claudia. I never received check in info. Only Jessi did by WhatsApp. She also totally ignored me when we got to the house and started directly with Jessi. This reservation was booked by me on my VRBO account. She should have been dealing with only me unless I state otherwise. For the huge price we paid for this house for a family reunion that may never happen again I would have expected an immaculate house like we had in Fussen Bavaria and in Varenna Italy.

Excellent property to stay , ultra clean , spacious, nicely located for visit to messe with local bus or walking also near to the lake and adjecent to the wood.

Sehr großzügig geschnittenes Haus mit teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommener Einrichtung, die jedoch einen besonderen Charme verleiht und wunderbar funktional ist. Vollständig renovierte Badezimmer mit Waschmöglichkeiten. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, großer Essraum, beeindruckender Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden durch Frau Mayer herzlich empfangen. Die gesamte Kommunikation war einwandfrei und äußerst freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Leider etwas abgewohnt, aber kein Problem.
