Great location close to a grand canal ferry route, easy walk to San Marco and other attractions. Deluxe room very spacious, lovely view over local square. Disappointed that rooftop is closed for maintenance, but very good lobby wiating area with tables and drinks for guests.

Access to water taxis with luggage is vital in Venice. This hotel had an entrance on a canal just for water taxis and was only a few steps away from a public vaparetto stop.

Conveniently located hotel in the heart of Venice. It is located on the orange line Aliguna stop so you can hop right on public transportation from the airport. It’s about 10 minutes walk to all of the attractions give or take with foot traffic. Very clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful as we needed to contact a private taxi for our return trip to the airport. One thing to note is the elevator can only provide service to floors one and two so you are staying on a higher floor, there is some walking up and down steps involved. This didn’t bother us as it’s an older building(it’s Venice!). They also have a breakfast option that we didn’t take advantage of but our traveling companions said it was good.

Great breakfast, definitely worth to get it. Great location, right next to the public transportation/water station, and allilaguna the water bus to the airport, and walking distance to most places. Great, Free tour to a Murano factory. Just ask for it. The free drink on the lobby is delicious. There is Free water in the bedroom fridge. Place is quiet, nice and clean. Bedroom size is good but the bad part is the shower is very, very, very small (tiny uncomfortable). No elevator. Staff is great except the young woman on the front desk she is not friendly at all. Overall very good but have to drop a star because the shower and lack of elevator.

Fantastic location 100m from the Alilaguna stop making travelling from the airport very easy, also only 10-15 min walk from a lot of tourist spots (saint marks, Peggy Guggenheim and Galleria galleries) and very walkable to other areas too. Room I got was a little odd - at the top near the roof terrace (lovely spot at the end of the day for a drink), large room but had some low beams particularly in the bathroom so would not suit someone tall. Staff were lovely and helpful though and would probably stay here again.

No lift, however young porter did assist with heavy luggage. Easy walk from ferry with large luggage. Breakfast ok. Reception need to smile. Ironing clothes is a hassle as you have to go to an “ironing room” which is a staff closest/supply room.

Ala hotel was very quaint and clean. Due to its age, it didn't seem handicap accessible,which is my only negative. Room was spotless. Breakfast buffet was excellent. the bar was cozy and busy each evening. Location is outstanding.

Beautiful property, with fabulous chandelier in the lobby. Room comfy but air conditioning not as effective as we would have liked, very hot though! Difficult to get shower temp right and not very powerful. Beds and pillows comfy, towels changed daily, complimentary drinks/water in lobby.

Great service from all encountered. Went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care. Nice breakfast. ( not included but worth it for convenience). Arranged complimentary boat to Murano island. Assisted with booking private water taxi to the train station. Would stay again.

I have no idea how this hotel has such a high rating on Expedia. We had two rooms, one room was fine but the other had BED BUGS and baby roaches. The bathroom also stank like a sewer in this room. Are you kidding me? For the amount of money we paid, this was terrible. We had to wash our laundry and take all the precautions to make sure that we didn’t bring any bedbugs back with us. This building is also very old. The rooms have been renovated, buts it’s clear that the hallways are as old as Venice itself. I strongly advise anyone who’s going to this hotel to pick another hotel. This one is not worth the stress and anxiety we had to go through on our trip to Venice.

On arrival, overheard one lady say “I”m not going to stay here one more night.” Fire alarms started going off randomly in the morning. A/c was also leaking water from it where we arrive to the hotel or wake up to a pile of water on floor. Housekeeping also didn’t knock when entering the room.

Beware of this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and one of us got bed bug bites from the beds. I reached out to the hotel the day after we checked out and went to see a physician after we had returned home and received no response.

Very nice stay in Unahotels Venice. Good breakfast and overall I enjoyed very much. Room was clean and well maintained.

Relaxing, clean and centrally located hotel near major sites and restaurants. Wine bar was fantastic and breakfast as well. Clean hotel and courteous and professional staff. Would return again.

Just a beautifully done hotel. Only dislike was the air conditioning didn't cool down enough during 25ºc (77ºf) nights. It may be sufficient in other seasons, but we were there the 3rd week of August--still very hot. A less than ten minute walk to St. Mark's Piazza, lots of high-end couturiers in the area (beyond my budget), only 50 yards from the Giglio water taxi stop. The hotel has a water taxi to go to the Murano glass factory.

I thought I booked a recently renovated hotel (that’s what the site said and what all the pictures showed) and when we arrived at our room it was clearly not part of the renovation. Very disappointing. It was all beige and looked like it was last updated in the 80’s. Don’t fall for the pics, or be sure to ask for the updated rooms.

The only thing was it was very loud outside in the plaza which we were facing.

We stayed 3 nights in the Antonia room. It is essentially a loft style room with a bedroom, bathroom, entry room, and access to a balcony. It was very nice for the price we paid and would stay again if we re visited Venice. Venice was nice. The people were friendly but it was essentially a city of hotels, restaurants, and brand name stores. Now that the box is checked, I do not see us returning.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and would very happily do so again. Within easy walking distance of San Marco and the vaporetto yet it is in a quiet area, with plenty of restaurants close by. The staff are all lovely! My only niggle was with the internet connection which, in my room at least, was very patchy and slow. I was on holiday and so didn't want or need to be permanently online but it might be more of an issue for others.

Hotel is amazing Our room opened to the canal as singing Gondolier’s came by! The room was very quiet The bed very comfortable Close to several restaurants and shops Walking distance to San Marco Square 10-12 minutes where many tours depart from. Would stay again!! Enjoy

The hotel was in a fabulous location with easy access to the water buses and taxis to the airport. The staff at the reception were very friendly and eager to help with a smile and attentive nature. The rooms and very welcome air conditioning were great. However the bar staff were rude, inflexible and not customer focused at all. The bar was advertised to close at midnight. On both nights of our stay we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm and were refused drinks in quite a rude and abrupt manner. On the second night we wanted to sit outside for 19 mins before bed, but at 11.30 the bar staff started stacking chairs. They effectively tipped my wife off of her chair so they could stack it and go home. When challenged on ‘Why?’ There was no apology, just a dismissive wave!! Extremely rude and letting down such a lovely hotel.

Dated rooms and just the most disinterested staff, at check in asked for our passports and literally didn’t say another word, I said which room are we in then and the receptionist said the bag guy would take us. No enjoy your stay, no good morning, no how was your day, the next time anyone spoke to us was at checkout when they asked for local tax payment. Great location but I would never choose this place again.

We chose this hotel as we stayed here in 2023 and had a decent experience. We enjoyed the majority of our stay this year, 2024 as well but we unfortunately will not book with this hotel again. The day before leaving we scheduled a private water taxi through the hotel as we needed to be at the airport by 4:00am. The front desk confirmed with us twice that the taxi was booked for 3:30am the next day. We went to the lobby at 3:15am and asked the front desk if our taxi would be on time. He spent 20min “looking through the schedule” then told us the hotel forgot to book the taxi. As public transportation was not running at this time it became a huge problem. The gentleman at the front desk was not able to provide us with contact information or resources for public transportation. We had to repeatedly beg for his help as a fiddled around with odd tasks seemingly attempting to ignore the issue. Finally after waiting an hour he contacted a taxi for us. However, it was much too late to make our flight. We then lost all of our connecting flights as well which caused us to pay an additional $1,800 to book new flights which were for a much later time. We asked for the hotel manager to contact us, nearly a week later now we still have not heard from the hotel manager. As I stated, we are extremely disappointed as up until this incident we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Accommodating and old world-ish in terms of service. It was a refreshing experience.

Unprofessional staff. At check in the receptionist was cold, unwelcoming, and did not even provide information about the facilities at the hotel. When I asked about whether this behavior was part of the culture at the hotel, he responded “it is the summer heat!”. Avoid

I had booked an economy double room on Expedia over a week ago. Realistically I should have waited until nearer my stay as rooms were £30-£40 cheaper. My bedroom was spacious albeit dated in decor. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The view from my window was obscured by the scaffolding work outside. The hotel walls are very thin and I was woken by a steady banging of doors on my corridor. Reception staff were not very friendly although the breakfast staff were. The hotel is very near St. Mark’s Square, but I would think twice about staying here again. It was very expensive for one night’s stay.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. The staff are very friendly, very polite, very professional and no ask is too much for them. We arrived two and a half hours earlier than check-in time, o asked if we could leave our luggage in the luggage room whilst we killed time waiting for the check-in time, only to be told that our room was ready and we're accompanied to it. Check-out day, the same thing, we had a very late flight out and when I asked if it was possible to have the room til we had to catch to water bus, I was told, we could have it for as long as required free of charge. What hotel does this for you? None in my experience. The breakfast was very abundant with everything from tea, coffee, cappuccino, fruit juices, croissants, a variety of different cakes, bread, rolls, yogurt, various cereals and seeds, scrambled eggs, beautifully crisp bacon, fresh whole fruit and cut fruit pieces, various soft cheeses, salami, ham mozzarella and tomato. You would be a very fussy eater of you couldn't find anything here for breakfast. Our room was a little on the tight side but the bed and pillows more than made up for it. I have never slept on mattress or pillow as comfortable. I only wish o had the same at home. It is very close to the vaporetto stop, approximately 50 metres, and central to everywhere. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INAHOTEL ALA VENEZIA.

Location was excellent. 50 meters from vaporetto stop with no stairs to climb. Staff friendly. Room comfortable with air conditioning. Bar convenient and staff friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Cold water and tea available in the lobby. One suggestion I would make is to put grab bars in the bathtub. It was very slippery. Good thing there was a rubber mat to stand on

Great location! Easy access to Grand Canal, water taxi’s and buses.

Stayed here after getting off cruise ship. Literally 150 feet from water bus stop to front door- can’t get lost! The airport shuttle also at the same stop every 1/2 hour. Can’t beat it for convenience and ease of using their transit system.

We took a water bus to the stop and as we disembarked we were worried about how to get to the hotel, and after only walking about 10 steps we saw the front door. Perfect location and great base to walk around the cafes and shops of Venice. I have recommended this hotel to friends planning a trip to Venice next year.

Schönes Hotel und prima gelegen für den Wasserbus sowie den Wasser-Shuttle zum Flughafen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Markusplatz etc. sehr gut und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen.

This hotel was very nice. Everyone who worked there was so pleasant and helpful. Our room was very nice, only issue was that the hot water ran out in the shower. The hotel is very conveniently located, easy to get on the vaparato or water taxi. They were really good about ordering a water taxi for us to get to the airport.

Lots of options - good selection of fruit and proteins.

Bad for people with a nut allergy. Very little food options and there was no labels showing what foods contained allergens.

The breakfast was very good with both tables inside and outside. They also offered discount at an excellent restaurant on a canal AND a free round trip boat ride to Murano and the original glass factory.
