The staff were super friendly, their dogs were cute too. We had everything we needed except food was a little drive. We had a view of the Lake from our room and the hot tub was perfectly relaxing. Definitely recommend.

pool and hot tub down for maintenance . rooms are older and dated but clean and functional. Front desk lady was friendly and helpful accomidated our request to be in a area we can see our truck trailer from the room instead of parking in the gravel lot on the other side of the property

Great location right off the freeway. Clean rooms and beds were comfortable. Pool and Jacuzzi were working fine. Walking distance to a gas station if you need anything. Def would stay here again

The bathroom door needs to be planed. It sticks and has to be pushed or pulled very hard to open, making a loud scraping noise. The curtains do not block out the light. The heater/fan won't stay on continously. It’s very loud and it might be ok if it stayed on, but it wakes you up when it goes off and on. The hot tub was filled but the water was not heated. We had a dog with us and that's why we chose this hotel. It suited our needs as a place to sleep but it wasn't great.

Good - price, size of room, accepts dogs Poor - lightbulb out in room, no poop bags at dog run (lots of poop on the grass), hard to take luggage and dogs to third floor room up the stairs, no parking lines painted on back parking lot so it was a free for all trying to park at night, one ice machine outside of the lobby.

The overall stay was okay. The staff were nice (really only the front desk person but did have a quick passing with maintenance) the room its self was just okay. Was not fully clean - there was food/something spilled on the wall by the trash cans that wasn't clean and kind of nasty right across from out bed and the jacuzzi wasn't fully cleaned. Other than those things it was nice and quiet and parking was convenient. Also I didn't go into the pool since there were things at the bottom (I did plan too but didn't seem like it was cleaned that day and I don't mean leaves - almost looked like a bunch of soggy tissue. )

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. Avoid it like the plague. What was supposed to be a simple one-night stay turned into one of the most revolting experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. The issues began with a large gap under the door that allowed hot air to pour into the room all night, rendering the AC nearly useless. But as it turns out, a poorly sealed door was the least of my concerns. When I woke up the next morning, I was horrified to discover rat droppings on my bed, just inches from my pillow. Let that sink in. A rodent had clearly been in my bed while I slept. I immediately documented everything with photos and brought it to the attention of the hotel staff. As I packed to leave, I found a dirty woman’s tank top stuffed behind the head of the bed, a clear indication that the bedding hadn’t even been changed from the previous guest. I was sleeping in someone else’s filth — a stranger’s skin cells, sweat, and God knows what else — under the illusion of “cleanliness.” I naturally requested a refund, as no one should be expected to pay for conditions that are both unhygienic and unsafe. The front desk coldly denied any reimbursement, showing zero accountability or concern. Adding insult to injury, the hotel has the gall to leave tipping envelopes in the room for housekeeping. Tipping? For a staff that doesn’t even perform the most basic aspect of their job — changing the sheets? This wasn’t just a bad stay. This was a health hazard, a violation of trust, and

When I arrived after driving 4 hours at 10pm the hotel did not have my reservation. Hick up between hotels.com and Expedia from my understanding. I did not have the water/lake view room I reserved. TV would not turn off at all. Sheets and towels smelled like heavy chemicals, bed not comfortable, hair on the bathroom floor and in the sink and coffee machine smelled like harsh chemicals as well I didn’t even want to run water thru it for tea.

The room we got was very big and clean. The problem is, it was 112 degrees outside and when we entered the room we expected it to be much cooler. Instead, the a/c was off and it was 90 degrees inside according to my thermometer. We turned the a/c on and left for lunch. Two hours later we entered the room again and it was still 85 degrees, very uncomfortable. The a/c unit was way too small for such a big room. I called the reception to complain but the man said they don’t turn a/c on (like in EVERY other hotel I have been so far) because it would be too expensive. Too bad because the room was very nice. The price for the night was low, but that does not justify being very uncomfortable in it. Had we arrived later it would have been totally impossible to sleep. Finally, during the night the temp went down to mid-70s. If you book this hotel in summertime be ready for a very hot room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but it is an older hotel and room has older furnishings and has not been remodeled in a while. Great view of the lake from patio balcony. If you can get past the dated furnishings, a one night stay passing thru town is a value.

Room was large but needed TLC. The carpet was replaced but there was a hole in the wall. Had a nice balcony. Bathroom door would not open fully as the toilet in the way. Shower head was good. The front desk happily helped with getting the TV working. The continental breakfast was very basic...fruit, granola bars, yogurt and microwavable breakfast buns by request. Meh.

Nice location, easy access, hotel office has affordable food and items for sale. Felt safe and clean. Two negatives: room was very noisy. Despite there only being about 10 guests in the whole multi-building complex, I was under someone who was dragging furniture, watching TV loudly, and going in and out of their balcony. Everything can be heard through the ceiling. Other negative was the mattress was very used and uncomfortable.

We absolutely loved staying here. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We also had a lovely view of Lake Mead from our balcony. The area was so serene and nice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff. We will definitely find ourselves staying here again!

When I arrived I got a text at 9:11pm to call if I was arriving past 10. 9:17 before I could get off my plane I received a text that I didn’t read. 9:30-11pm I called and called the motel, no answer. I arrived at 11:45 pm they were closed. No key code left for the after hours, nothing. I called the after hours manager phone number and was told: find somewhere else to go, we are closed, you will find something easily just as you did this, if you get in trouble call 911, this is just a job for me. I was sitting outside their door with my 13 year old daughter middle of the night. New years weekend. I was turned away, no apologies, cold uncaring, absolutely the worst experience. My daughter was scared and I was scrambling. This was awful. Manager never called, complained the next morning, nothing. Told to call hotels.com regarding my 5 day reservation. Manager never called me.

Did not get the room that was booked and paid for. Had pet friendly in amenities criteria and choose room from website. Turns out the hotel will not allow pets in that particular room even though website said so. Had to take a lesser room and now having difficulty getting refunded the difference from hotels.com

The staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the view over the lake Mead. It was a little isolated from the rest of the city, so you need a car to access and go around. The room is wide and comfortable, and a lot of rooms have a balcony with Lake Mead views.

Good value on a holiday weekend, across the street from Hemenway Park with seasonal Big Horn Sheep and a hike down to Lake Mead. 5 minutes to downtown Boulder City. Basic rooms but mini fridge and patios with chairs are a nice touch.

Nice, clean motel near Lake Mead/Hoover Dam and downtown Boulder City. The only two drawbacks were a loud AC unit, and a less than acceptable "free breakfast". The owners could increase the satisfaction of their breakfast offering by partnering with a local bakery and providing something other than packaged muffins and Twinkies.

It was a decent quality, no frills stay -- and affordable compared to some alternatives. The area has a view of the lake and mountains. A basic/minimal continental breakfast was included. The room had useful amenities (microwave, fridge, ironing board, TV, etc.) Comfortable and met all my needs. Host was friendly.

We really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was great. Due to the delays of flights and trip to the hotel, we were really late. They gave us instructions on how to get our key, but to our wonderful surprise, staff opened for me to sign in and get key. I think they knew I was a little confused. We definitely would stay again. They don't have a full breakfast but did have a continental breakfast. Still we really like the quietness and comfort of the room and the great staff. Thank you
