A beautiful property with rooms decorated in a traditional style. The hotel is centrally located and it was a good base to see Venice. Bathroom was big and generous. We were there in May and the air conditioning was working. Our room looked over the court yard. The property was very clean. There is a disability lift to get you to reception. If you have mobility issues ask for a room at the same level as reception. Breakfast was simple with great coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Venice.

Location, location, location! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only negative to this hotel is that there is not elevator, therefor if you and your family are coming with luggage be ready to carry it to the second floor where the reception is located. There is no one available at the entrance to help you.

Reasonable price and great location for this hotel. We have stayed here before and would stay again. Only negative is steps but for such a good location it is understandable, and staff will come and take your luggage upstairs.

The hotel and staff were great. The overall atmosphere is classy. The only challenge is no restaurant/bar area. There is also no elevator so it would be difficult to maneuver for someone with limited mobility. Taking luggage up and down stairs was tough. There is a nice daily breakfast buffet. Even with its limitations, I would recommend this hotel.

Just a 10 min walk to everywhere. Taxi stop outside the door. Very clean with friendly staff. No lift but stairs were easy. Breakfast was just ok, not a huge choice but there are so many eateries nearby. My only complaint would be limescale on the shower head and no milk cartons in the room. Would definitely use again.

Excellent location! Lots of steps to get luggage into lobby - not good!!! But - gondola and water taxi stop at front door to hotel. No hot water first and second nights but working in morning one of the days. Breakfast was fair. Staff VERY accommodating and kind.

Main issue here were bedbugs that left everyone with multiple bites. Heat/AC was not working properly either. Convenient area to stay in but cannot leave a positive review with children having bites all over.

Hotel was okay. Wouldn’t recommend for a long period stay. The room was loud. Could hear everything outside and the room above. The room smelt musty and had to keep bathroom closed or window open for sewage smell. Bed was decently comfortable. Mini fridge was not free. Water bottles were more expensive. Recommend bringing own drinks or purchasing outside hotel. Restaurant beside hotel was delicious. Gondola rides were right outside the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at Antico Doge 3 times. We love the location and the easy access from the airport via a water taxi. The hotel comes complete with friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable bedding, updated bathroom and an intriguing history from the past. Shops and restaurants are steps away from the front door, including a gelateria. We would not hesitate to come back to this hotel again and again.

Consiglio questo hotel per il vostro soggiorno a Venezia, a due passi dal Ponte di Rialto, vaporetti raggiungibili in un paio di minuti, negozi e ristoranti a portata di mano!

The location was great. It’s in the center of Venice. We took ferry. Is the second stop at the airport it’s about 10 minutes walk. There’s a lot of stairs to go up and down to get to the hotel so just be careful with that. If you are unable to do stairs, don’t go to Venice. Back to the hotel there’s a tall stairs to go into the reception. There is a wheelchair but there isn’t an elevator. The bathrooms smell a little bit, but I’m not sure if that’s because it’s Venice, but it was clean. Also the AC wasn’t working because the receptionist said the town obligates them to shut the AC off at certain month. I went on November month so there was no AC, but she gave us a fan.

Great hotel centrally located to all the sights. If you get a room over the canal it can be a little noisy but you get used to it. I would not pay for the canal view again as the view was very limited. Definitely would recommend staying here and I would book again. Great breakfast lovely staff

三つ星でしたがカナルビューの部屋で窓を開けるとゴンドラ乗り場があり、眺望は最高でした。部屋の広さも充分です。朝食もビュッフェは最低限ですが、スペースが少し狭い以外は満足できるレベルです。トータルではカナルビューの部屋なら3.5星です！

We were absolutely delighted with our beautiful room. The room itself was huge and had a wonderful view. The location was walkable to the main attractions for us St Marks square, Rialto bridge, Doges palace etc. Wonderful staff who were very helpful. We are a family traveling for 3 days in Venice. The Antico Doge was a great location, comfortable and clean. The suite accommodated our family of four well, although we are all quite tall, so the beds and bathroom space were a bit cramped and small.

Great location, nice room, good wi-fi but bathroom a bit small and breakfast mediocre (eg bacon and eggs were cold at 9.30am despite being in a heated serving container). For £330 a night out of season, I’d say this hotel was average in terms of value. I’m sure you can do better.

Staff approach to negative situations could be improved. No manager to mediate the situation during our stay so not resolved till after checkout. Room at the front level 1 was very noisy. Our booked room type wasn’t available, not informed before arrival although known to the hotel staff and the alternative room type downgraded the experience for us as a family squishing into a smaller room. Breakfast had to be by appointment slot the night before where we couldn’t have breakfast at our convenience. The hot food option was running out and not replenished during our slot. Very lacking for an anniversary visit following on 6 years from our honeymoon where it was excellent.

What a beautiful hotel! Will return. Impeccable staff, wonderful breakfast. Standout hotel among three others we stayed at in Italy. Wonderful. Even booked a water taxi for us for 4am to make our life easier. The gentleman at the front desk during the day is an absolute profressional. Thank you all.

The staff was very accommodating helping us arrange private water taxi so that we could avoid dragging luggage through Venice. It is in a great location with easy access to all tourist spots. Also recommended great restaurant! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. We had some flight issues and were only there one night instead of two. Lucrezia responded immediately to my email with respect to our delay in arriving. The hotel is superbly located with plenty of restaurants nearby. Rialto & San Marco are short walks away. Staff were very pleasant (with one exception). Breakfast was excellent with continental and limited hot choices. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the air cond system is out of order, awaiting parts (May ‘25). Our room on the second floor was never below 24C. With daytime temperatures set to rise, this could be a real problem. The hotel supplied a room fan which did little good. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon. A male receptionist couldn’t have cared less about the lack of AC but everyone else were very kind and understanding. Retraining needed for him, maybe?

Reception Staff at the hotel were very helpful and all other staff were helpful too. Even helped with carrying our luggage up the stairs too. Breakfast staff were really nice and Breakfast had good choices too

The property is in a convenient spot to walk around Venice. Very close to the Rialto Bridge. It was a little bit of a walk up and down some steps and bridges to get here with luggage, from the water taxi from airport. Getting to the water taxi that takes you to the train station upon leaving was much closer. Hotel itself is beautifully maintained, room had a low ceiling but was very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast spread was plentiful and coffee was really good here, served fresh, in a very pretty room overlooking the square. Very close to many good restaurants, shopping, getting around overall. Staff is friendly and very helpful, will call to make a restaurant reservation for you, if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Venice, yet also quiet. So many restaurants are close by and it is convenient for getting around easily. The rooms were lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great variety at breakfast, a proper continental breakfast with delicious coffee! We had a fantastic stay.

We spent 2 nights there, wish we had stayed longer. Super convenient location, 5 min walk to the Ca' d'Oro Vaporetto station, or you can take the water taxi right to the front door. Short walk to anything you'd need. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the canal. Will definitely be our Venice hotel from now on.

This was our second time at the Antico Doge hotel. It’s very conveniently positioned within walking distance to all major attractions and transport to and from the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

Our stay at this hotel was beautiful and we enjoyed the location and the rooms. I did do want to show the chef how to make American bacon and eggs and coffee. You can get a drip coffee maker very inexpensive. We Americans don't like instant coffee. The bacon was raw and no one was eating it. Put the bacon on foil or parchment paper at 375 for 15 minutes and flip over for four or five minutes. It always comes out perfect and there will not be a pc left.

My husband and I booked last min for our trip to Venice and we were very pleased to say the least. The location was great, the staff were helpful and the room was lovely. It was a bit noisy at night being on a main path but it quieted once people went to bed around 11:00PM but this would be anywhere in a good location in Venice. Breakfast was wonderful as well, eggs, bacon, toast and pastries along with fruit, yogurts and granola, what more could you ask for? Would most certainly stay here again.

Great location, nice room, good wi-fi but bathroom a bit small and breakfast mediocre (eg bacon and eggs were cold at 9.30am despite being in a heated serving container). For £330 a night out of season, I’d say this hotel was average in terms of value. I’m sure you can do better.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of Venice! Its location is great especially for getting to St. Mark's, Doge's Palace, shopping areas, and many restaurants and bars. Our breakfast that came with our room was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in our room worked great. We would stay here again when we come back to Venice!
