This was supposed to be a 3 star hotel, i dont understand how they got that rating! The first room we were in had roaches, not just 1 but several! The second room we got the air conditioner beeped non stop but we dealt with that since it was better than sharing a room with roaches. There was constant police activity and drug activity all around the place. The advertised pool was not open, in fact it was pad locked with one gate screwed shut. However, upon returning from a visit with family we saw pool toys and floats left next to the padlocked pool indicating the owners personal use of the pool! Worst stay ive ever had at a supposed 3 star hotel. Will not be returning.

When we pulled up police were everywhere. There was a fight at the attached bar. We tried to leave, but were denied a refund and there were no other rooms available. Horrible, filthy room. Was told there was no general manager or head of housekeeping to talk to. Tub/shower was disgusting. Furniture missing paint and all scratched up, was dusty and there were crumbs in all the shelves and cabinets that held microwave (which didn’t work) and the mini fridge. Towels had hair (which I hope came from someone’s head) on them. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

When we got here they said The pool closes at 6 pm!! But Online it says 8 pm. I got them to call the manager to see why it closed so early and asked could our kids swim until dark and they said yes.. then came out to lock the gates at 8. They were very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Check-in was easy & quick. The price was affordable. The mattress on the bed was brown, the sheets were stained, there was crayon scribbled on the wall, the door & baseboards in the bathroom were black with dirt, the toilet was stained. And then the cockroaches started running. We thought we might use the pool but the water was so murky, you couldn’t see the bottom. Breakfast, however, was delicious & the attendant was very pleasant. Sorry to have to give such a bad review.

The first room I was assigned (202) was to be a nonsmoking room but reeked of smoke. I was then moved to room 157 and that room had holes in the lamp shade, the bathtub was dirty, the room was musty and did not smell clean, the ceiling was dirty and had patches of what appeared to be dirt, holes in the wall, etc. I was scheduled to stay two nights but due to the conditions I couldn’t stay a second night. The pool was green and disgusting and unusable and the hotel grounds exterior was filthy. I will never stay there again. It appears a change in management is needed.

Cockroaches, bugs, door did not seal (bugs), vinyl flooring busted up taped up and uneven (splinters without shoes) some towels looked used, closet smelled like cat pee, hair dryer plug was broken off. I was afraid of bed bugs at this point. In the restaurant everything you ordered was in a syrofoam box, plastic silverware. Breakfast was cereal, biscuits and gravy. Period. Clarion should be ashamed. NEVER again. Worst hotel room I have EVER stayed at. I’d stay at motel 6 before I ever stay at a Clarion again.

The room was very dirty, dirty linens, stained towels & rags. The finish of the tub was actually chipping off & the tub was dirty. Rust on the bottom of the doorways & the toilet had urine around the outside of it.

I just can't believe Clarion clams this under their brand. This is probably the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed. Dead roaches all over the room, dust and dirt in every corner, under the beds, under the ac, on the vents, in the AC unit, on the switches, on and under the chair cushion, and just everywhere. Black mold along the tub and bathroom ceiling. I have never experienced a rocking toilet, but you get one here. Most certainty keep my suitcase up off the floor and off the chair. I'll have to take a shower when I leave so I won't feel dirty after a stay here. Clarion will no longer be on my preferred hotel list. Goes on the crappy list. If I wasn't so tired after traveling for the past 12 hours, I would leave!

The note at the front desk should have given me a warning. It stated that there would be no refunds due to the remodel that the hotel was experiencing. I can understand a noise complaint or two and even some construction debris. However the hotel was in no condition to have anyone stay there. The linens were unclean. The bathroom was horrific. And it was literally infested with roaches. There was a microwave and a fridge however neither worked. What look like wallpaper was peeling off from what appeared to be water damaged so I'm sure there was mold. Worst hotel I have ever been to!!! I would not leave my dogs there

Not very clean at all. Needed to remove a lampshade that was covered in mold. Over all not a clean place to stay. I had another reservation on our trip home and canceled it. Wasn’t going to stay there again.

I’m giving 2 stars because of the room alone. The staff were lovely. Starr was super nice and professional, the lady at breakfast was also very sweet. She made you feel like you are in her personal dining room. But… you get what you pay for. Room was run down. There was something that resembled a balloon in my bed sheets, I hope it was a balloon. Wad of hair behind the bathroom door. Room was very noisy.

staff is excellent , room for the price was ok with the exception of the shower . had to switch rooms due to no water pressure when hot water was running . replacement room provided had no issues. all around happy with our stay .

Checked in, got into my room. There was a tv with no stand leaned against the wall because they couldn’t take 10 min to mount it. Killed about 3 times roaches that were coming from behind AC unit. Could hear the people in the room next to me and there foolery all night long, I’m almost certain they were selling drugs. One of the worst experiences at a hotel I’ve ever had.

The check in took 30 minutes because they couldn't get us the key card. Computer problem. The outlet with the hair dryer did not work. There was no outlet on the desk to plug the computer into. The heat did not work and it was a cold night. No outlets on the left side of the bed to plug phones in.

breakfrast basically non existence . went to make my 2 year old a waffle and took it back to my room for him to enjoy . resulting in the Hotel mannager goofball telling staff not to allow me to eat breakfast for the remainder of my stay . ill be contacting corporate today for this neglect of my purchased services being taken away by this power hungry guy in charge .

staff is excellent , room for the price was ok with the exception of the shower . had to switch rooms due to no water pressure when hot water was running . replacement room provided had no issues. all around happy with our stay .

The check in took 30 minutes because they couldn't get us the key card. Computer problem. The outlet with the hair dryer did not work. There was no outlet on the desk to plug the computer into. The heat did not work and it was a cold night. No outlets on the left side of the bed to plug phones in.

hotel manager is a bum as well as staff . went to breakfast to get my 2 year old a waffle , in result i was banned from breakfast by the power hungry management and prevented from having breakfast for the rest of my stay . as well as being continually harrased by his staff attempting to pain

Run. Run far away! Check-in was confusing, and took 30 mins just to check in. Mold on the entire ceiling around the edges where it wasn’t painted. Mold in bathroom. Floor was filthy. Breakfast was almost non existent. Brings out 1 serving of eggs at a time for the buffet. This use to be a nice hotel, but not anymore!!! Run!!!

This was the worst property we have ever stayed at!! Drug dealing, prostitution, totally UNCLEAN rooms, dirty sheets and pillow cases, Loud and rowdy people around until two am and people checking door knobs at night, I slept with a 9 iron!! Did not get much if any sleep. We checked out after the first night and now trying to get a refund. We moved over to the La Quinta in Dothan, great place wonderful staff, clean comfortable rooms and SAFE!!!

This was supposed to be a 3 star hotel, i dont understand how they got that rating! The first room we were in had roaches, not just 1 but several! The second room we got the air conditioner beeped non stop but we dealt with that since it was better than sharing a room with roaches. There was constant police activity and drug activity all around the place. The advertised pool was not open, in fact it was pad locked with one gate screwed shut. However, upon returning from a visit with family we saw pool toys and floats left next to the padlocked pool indicating the owners personal use of the pool! Worst stay ive ever had at a supposed 3 star hotel. Will not be returning.

When we pulled up police were everywhere. There was a fight at the attached bar. We tried to leave, but were denied a refund and there were no other rooms available. Horrible, filthy room. Was told there was no general manager or head of housekeeping to talk to. Tub/shower was disgusting. Furniture missing paint and all scratched up, was dusty and there were crumbs in all the shelves and cabinets that held microwave (which didn’t work) and the mini fridge. Towels had hair (which I hope came from someone’s head) on them. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

Checked in, got into my room. There was a tv with no stand leaned against the wall because they couldn’t take 10 min to mount it. Killed about 3 times roaches that were coming from behind AC unit. Could hear the people in the room next to me and there foolery all night long, I’m almost certain they were selling drugs. One of the worst experiences at a hotel I’ve ever had.

Well, I’m conflicted on how to rate this hotel. Our room was clean but when we went to have our continental breakfast, which we were all looking forward to, it was a complete mess in there. Waffle batter everywhere. Left over in both the waffle makers, on the counter and on the floor. Left over coffee from the previous day that got poured right into the fresh made coffee. The kitchen staff was in the room on his phone instead of cleaning up. We were going to eat in the restaurant that’s in the hotel but after seeing that we wouldn’t dare eat there.

Cockroaches, bugs, door did not seal (bugs), vinyl flooring busted up taped up and uneven (splinters without shoes) some towels looked used, closet smelled like cat pee, hair dryer plug was broken off. I was afraid of bed bugs at this point. In the restaurant everything you ordered was in a syrofoam box, plastic silverware. Breakfast was cereal, biscuits and gravy. Period. Clarion should be ashamed. NEVER again. Worst hotel room I have EVER stayed at. I’d stay at motel 6 before I ever stay at a Clarion again.

I complained at front desk about a couple things with no attention given to them other than being told the Inn was under renovation so some things may have not been updated or in the process thereof, Our room had brand new flooring which was nice. My complaints were: coffee condiments & cups were provided in the room but no coffee maker and the toilet seat was very loose & wobbly. Also, of which I didn't complain about was there were absolutely no towel bars in or out of the bathroom, the soap was very old, both bars were crumbling inside the package before even having opened them. On a positive note, the breakfast was fairly decent with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy & waffles, The only complaint there was the sausage was over cooked & dry. The lady overseeing the breakfast was extremely friendly & attentive to the guests.

Check-in was easy & quick. The price was affordable. The mattress on the bed was brown, the sheets were stained, there was crayon scribbled on the wall, the door & baseboards in the bathroom were black with dirt, the toilet was stained. And then the cockroaches started running. We thought we might use the pool but the water was so murky, you couldn’t see the bottom. Breakfast, however, was delicious & the attendant was very pleasant. Sorry to have to give such a bad review.

The property as a whole seemed to be struggling. No AC in the lobby, No breakfast. Furniture was in disrepair. There was writing on the walls in the room. It was rough. The lady who checked me in wasn't rude, but wasn't especially friendly either. She didn't offer any explanation for the condition of the lobby or the lack of breakfast the website offered.

The only good thing this place has going for it is … the lady at the front desk was super friendly and nice. The air condition was not working in the foyer. they said that it had been like that for months they had the front door propped open with fans everywhere. We went into Jake’s There bar to shoot some pool and then sing karaoke. Out of four air-conditioning units inside (jakes) only one was working. The bartender was super friendly, and the karaoke guy was amazing. Our room was disgusting. There is no hot water. The sink water would not cut off ran constantly. Big roaches found on the floor and on the wall. You could see daylight from around and under the door. Of course I didn’t see it till the next day, but there were three stains on the sheets ! Around the baseboards, there was mold. And as hot as it was a swim in the pool would have been nice, but the water was green !

The dirtiest rooms I have ever seen at a hotel or motel. Stains on bed, roaches everywhere and the floor and walls and every surface is gross and uncleaned. They literally could not pay me any amount of money to stay here again. Place should be closed down immediately. Staff just on their phones and ignoring guests while talking to their friends on FaceTime.
