Super schönes Hotel leider etwas weit vom Zentrum kein ÖV, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, Buffet auch sehr lecker. Pool wunderschön, ich war etwas ausserhalb der Saison da wenig Leute. Spa Bereich mit Zusatzkosten und leider nur Textil Sauna.

Amazing stay at Bancal! The hotel is huge, green, sustainable, the view of the Teide incredible and the service excellent (thanks to Charlie!). We ate at the buffet and the food was really good and the staff kind and professional. Overall, the quality/price is unbeatable and we really had a lovely stay.

A lovely new hotel in a stunning setting built to blend in with very imaginative architecture Our room was very comfortable with very good facilities The downside was that the bars had run out of tonic, our choice of wine was out of stock and even a large bottle of water was unavailable in the restaurant on the second night. This may seem nitpicking but it should not have happened The staff were all very attentive and the general facilities and pools first class

Very nice, new hotel. Good breakfast. Service not 5 star (but also, this is not a 5 star hotel - it is 4 star). Fantastic view. Very nice pool areas. A little far away from the city (or anything) - you need shuttle, taxi or car.

It felt more like five than four stars. One of the best hotels we’ve experienced. Fantastic food, beautiful surroundings and friendly professional staff. Beautiful spa, and nice gym albeit a bit small. We will be back soon.. and for mote than five days next time. Thanks

Great getaway. We spent a long weekend here. And I must say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The pools were gorgeous bad the rooms really clean and newly refurbished. I love the brutalist architecture and it was the best food on the island period.

Awesome facilities. You have to drive if you want to go to town as they don’t yet offer shuttle services ( they are working on it), but still pretty easy to get a taxi or drive your own rental car.

Es un hotel maravilloso que mezcla lo moderno con lo rural y la elegancia con la sencillez. La habitación es increíble, muy limpia y cómoda. La comida estaba muy buena y el servicio muy atento. Su ubicación es verdad que no hay nada mas alrededor pero si vas a la gomera necesitas alquilar o llevar tu coche. Estamos deseando volver 10/10

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel whilst it is beautiful I found that information was not freely given, there was no milk in the room for coffee and had to ask every day for milk on the second day we had to ask for the room to be cleaned twice and no one turned up until 19,00 and the lady was rude on arrival Food was poor and it was cold we ate in the restaurant on the second night and was certainly not as good as the first time we came. Lack of choice and not value for money. When we checked out we was not asked what our stay was like and feel the second visit was a let down Last point barking dogs continuously to the point my partner hardly slept Beautiful hotel but disappointing in many ways for the money that we paid

This property has the potential to be truly spectacular. We chose it for the final few days of our holiday, hoping to do some work planning and enjoy a soft landing before heading home. The setting and design are stunning—cozy beds, beautifully landscaped gardens, incredible concrete work, and thoughtfully chosen furniture and decor. However, we found the lack of privacy disappointing. The shower and toilet areas had no walls, only glass, and the lounge chairs were just a few feet from our neighbors, which felt uncomfortably close. Wi-Fi was a major challenge. It was spotty at best, which made our work-focused visit difficult and frustrating. This property is not ideal for a working vacation. While I’d read reviews mentioning limited restaurant access, it was still surprising that such a large facility with four restaurants offered so little selection, restricted hours, and an overall lack of flexibility. Rather than feeling welcomed, we frequently encountered a “no” instead of a “let’s make it work” attitude from staff. That said, the hydrotherapy circuit and spa were the highlights of our stay—both were absolutely wonderful. Es un establecimiento nuevo y decorado con muy buen gusto. La comida en desayuno y cenas está muy rica. La tranquilidad en las instalaciones es absoluta. Como aspectos a mejorar/tener en cuenta diría: - Wiffi y cobertura móvil bastante reducida. - Es una zona realmente ventosa. - Por la puerta de la terraza de nuestra habitación se colaban las rachas de viento, que generaban bastante ruido en la noche.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the rooms are large and balconies have a great view of El Teide. Buffet breakfast and dinner have an excellent selection of good food, and the service is generally very good with staff all very helpful and friendly. The pools were great too although it was slightly windy during our stay. The only issues were (1) we were told when we checked in that we had a free spa session, the man who checked us in double-checked and confirmed that. We booked the spa and it is an excellent experience. Unfortunately however, when we checked out we were charged for the spa session and when we explained that we'd been told on checking in that we had a free session the woman on the desk just said 'that was a mistake' and charged us the full price. This is not good enough for a 4 star hotel - if they tell you that you have a free spa session they should honour that even if it is a mistake, or at least give a discount due to their error. (2) we had a meal at the a-la carte restaurant and while the food was very good unfortunately the service was very poor: there was only two staff working front of house and they had to everything, including greeting and seating guests, making and serving drinks and serving and clearing food. This meant there was a huge delay after a while and new guests were left waiting for about 15 minutes at the entrance, while we had to wait about 30 minutes after finishing our main course before they asked if we wanted dessert.

Completely new, with big rooms and very cosy… our room was on 1. floor so no view and pretty far from lobby. Need totale 3 different elevators.. it very calm and quiet hotel, perfect for relaxation… but far from city and cant be there without rent-a-car…. Breakfast was bad, line for eggs was incredible long and pancakes never refilled during 1h….

Modern hotel with a good range of facilities and offering beautiful views of Tenerife and Mt Teide. Well appointed rooms, although slightly disappointed by the lack of an iron and having to pay for ironing as part of the laundry service. I really like how committed to sustainability the hotel is - very impressive. The one area that could be improved is the food quality and service in the main buffet restaurant. There was a reasonable choice but the food was often lukewarm, dried up, or stodgy, so not the most enjoyable.

Great hotel in a good location. We had a Junior Suite and loved waking up to the view across to Mount Tiede on Tenerife. It was a very good base to explore the island which we fell in love with. A great holiday.

The hotel is wonderful The infinity and swimming pools are great. We did the tasting menu and flight of wines as it was my wife’s birthday all dishes were superb, there was a lovely cake left for my wife’s birthday on our arrival, the gardens are wonderfully designed and the view of mount teide amazing.. The key standout of this hotel were the staff, every single one of them were amazing. They all went that extra step to make our stay 5 stars..The customer care was top notch so I would like to thank all the staff for making my wife’s birthday stay and mine a unique and memorable occasion.. Gorgeous hotel, very large hotel but still feels quiet. Very good service and pools are awesome. Everything is very clean and spacious. Recommended. I do hope it stays the only hotel of this kind on La Gomera though, to keep the charm and authenticity of La Gomera alive.

Es un hotel maravilloso que mezcla lo moderno con lo rural y la elegancia con la sencillez. La habitación es increíble, muy limpia y cómoda. La comida estaba muy buena y el servicio muy atento. Su ubicación es verdad que no hay nada mas alrededor pero si vas a la gomera necesitas alquilar o llevar tu coche. Estamos deseando volver 10/10

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel whilst it is beautiful I found that information was not freely given, there was no milk in the room for coffee and had to ask every day for milk on the second day we had to ask for the room to be cleaned twice and no one turned up until 19,00 and the lady was rude on arrival Food was poor and it was cold we ate in the restaurant on the second night and was certainly not as good as the first time we came. Lack of choice and not value for money. When we checked out we was not asked what our stay was like and feel the second visit was a let down Last point barking dogs continuously to the point my partner hardly slept Beautiful hotel but disappointing in many ways for the money that we paid

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the rooms are large and balconies have a great view of El Teide. Buffet breakfast and dinner have an excellent selection of good food, and the service is generally very good with staff all very helpful and friendly. The pools were great too although it was slightly windy during our stay. The only issues were (1) we were told when we checked in that we had a free spa session, the man who checked us in double-checked and confirmed that. We booked the spa and it is an excellent experience. Unfortunately however, when we checked out we were charged for the spa session and when we explained that we'd been told on checking in that we had a free session the woman on the desk just said 'that was a mistake' and charged us the full price. This is not good enough for a 4 star hotel - if they tell you that you have a free spa session they should honour that even if it is a mistake, or at least give a discount due to their error. (2) we had a meal at the a-la carte restaurant and while the food was very good unfortunately the service was very poor: there was only two staff working front of house and they had to everything, including greeting and seating guests, making and serving drinks and serving and clearing food. This meant there was a huge delay after a while and new guests were left waiting for about 15 minutes at the entrance, while we had to wait about 30 minutes after finishing our main course before they asked if we wanted dessert.

Amazing stay at Bancal! The hotel is huge, green, sustainable, the view of the Teide incredible and the service excellent (thanks to Charlie!). We ate at the buffet and the food was really good and the staff kind and professional. Overall, the quality/price is unbeatable and we really had a lovely stay.

It felt more like five than four stars. One of the best hotels we’ve experienced. Fantastic food, beautiful surroundings and friendly professional staff. Beautiful spa, and nice gym albeit a bit small. We will be back soon.. and for mote than five days next time. Thanks

We were surprised that we had an issue where we had to leave very early ( 5.45am ) to catch the ferry to Tenerife and checked that we could get a takeaway breakfast as the restaurant would not be open at that time. On checking in, we mentioned our departure time and were told we would be ok getting a takeaway breakfast. However, the next day we went to the restaurant and it was closed. There was 1 staff member starting to get things prepared but she advised that they were not open until 7am. After going back to Reception to make them aware, they phoned down and got the restaurant to give us some coffee and cold pre prepared cheese and meats. This we appreciated but was not takeaway. Seems like communication in this newish Hotel not great.

Super schönes Hotel leider etwas weit vom Zentrum kein ÖV, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, Buffet auch sehr lecker. Pool wunderschön, ich war etwas ausserhalb der Saison da wenig Leute. Spa Bereich mit Zusatzkosten und leider nur Textil Sauna.

Very nice, new hotel. Good breakfast. Service not 5 star (but also, this is not a 5 star hotel - it is 4 star). Fantastic view. Very nice pool areas. A little far away from the city (or anything) - you need shuttle, taxi or car.

Hotel ziet er nieuw uit. Kamers ruim genoeg. Goed eten. Vriendelijk personeel. Prachtige verwarmde zwembaden. Mooi uitzicht op Tenerife. Ligt wel afgelegen van uitgaansmogelijkheden. Voor wandelaars prima gelegen. Shuttlebus naar San Sebastian (niet gratis). Absoluut een aanrader maar niet voor meerdere weken. Geweldige Belgische gastheer.

Es un establecimiento nuevo y decorado con muy buen gusto. La comida en desayuno y cenas está muy rica. La tranquilidad en las instalaciones es absoluta. Como aspectos a mejorar/tener en cuenta diría: - Wiffi y cobertura móvil bastante reducida. - Es una zona realmente ventosa. - Por la puerta de la terraza de nuestra habitación se colaban las rachas de viento, que generaban bastante ruido en la noche.

Die Hardware des Hotels ist auf 5*Sterne Niveau und sehr schön, leider kann die Software da nicht mithalten. Vor allem die Kulinarik ist Verbesserungswürdig.Das Silvesterdinner eine Vollkatastrophe mit Beginn 21.45 Uhr ohne Wahlmöglichkeit für Vegetarier oder Verganer.

Great getaway. We spent a long weekend here. And I must say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The pools were gorgeous bad the rooms really clean and newly refurbished. I love the brutalist architecture and it was the best food on the island period.

We enjoyed a really fabulous week here. The half board option is recommended as the choice of menus both at breakfast and evening mealtime is extensive, multinational and of a high quality. Furthermore, there are a limited number of restaurants in nearby San Sebastián and travel across the island, which has challenging topography, does require transport to access restaurants further afield.
We enjoyed a really fabulous week here. The half board option is recommended as the choice of menus both at breakfast and evening mealtime is extensive, multinational and of a high quality. Furthermore, there are a limited number of restaurants in nearby San Sebastián and travel across the island, which has challenging topography, does require transport to access restaurants further afield.
