Baymont on the lake by Wyndham Hot Springs

Guest laundry was out of service. Apparently it’s been out of service for quite some time. Owner/Management just don’t want to deal with it I’m guessing. Lots of people complaining they have to drive somewhere else to do laundry that should be provided since that amenity is included in the price of the room.

This hotel was definitely not worth the price for us to stay. Staff manager after 6pm didnt care about our concerns and said there was nothing they could do. The pool was a complete filty mess with waterbugs, and tadpoles swimming around in the murky pool, chlorine tabs sitting on the bottom of a nasty pool with no circulation and not enough water in the pool to reach the filters and moss growing on the steps, sides, & bottom of pool.

I would give the cleanliness of my room below average. There were crumbs in the floor, the doors were filthy. There was two spots on the the wall where bugs have been smashed and were not cleaned off. The front desk staff was unfriendly every time we would come and go they not once would greet you at all. The first night at check in the man that was working did not say hello or enjoy your stay. I thought I had lost something the next the morning so I went to the front desk and the woman that was working took at least 3 minutes to help me after I finally said “ma’am” She didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job. The lady that was working the breakfast area was nice and friendly. I did not visit the gym The pool was closed. So the kids were very upset.

The lobby was beautiful and the breakfast room was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. But the outside area, which was probably beautiful at some point, was not anymore. There were several lounging areas that would have been great if you could use them. The cushions on the furniture were filthy and had burn holes. The same with the pool furniture. Broken and dirty. The pool is in need of repair. We had to switch rooms since our toilet didn't work. The rooms may have newer floors and paint/pictures but bathrooms and furniture old and worn. We were there 5 nights. The air conditioner is loud. The location is great. The water view is very pretty. Their bar wasn't open either but looks like it will be nice. It was clean indoors and breakfast was good.

The pool was not 'swimmable' It was dirty. The pool area was unkept, old life saving equipment and dirty lounge chairs. Patio furniture torn and dirty. Did not look at all like the pictures advertised.

Make sure elevator is working and the bar is in service next time I come

Pool was not very clean. One of the reasons we came was to swim which we were unable to do.

Was clean and comfortable enough but… Everything in the gym was broken The bar was closed for refurbishment so could not even buy a beer or wine Breakfast was a little limited with paper plates and plastic cutlery (maybe acceptable for this star hotel) It was all just a little tired and in need of some investment / updating - shame given the lovely location on the lake. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Loved being at the edge of the Lake. Nice deck area to walk or sit. Very quiet and rooms were clean and in good shape. Elevator was out the morning I had to check out, so it made it difficult to carry everything down 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast is sufficient, but did run out of things

This property is in a great location and the back patio area is on a cove of the local lake which has very nice ample seating to enjoy the water view. The hotel has a bar which is currently closed but we stopped at a local liquor store and enjoyed a pop on the back patio. There is a Mexican restaurant directly next to the property that we got take out from (Jose’s I think) and the food was really good. We would definitely stay here again.

When we walked in our room, the odor was bad. Discovered the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Sprayed room with Lysol but room still smelled of body odor/urine. Then the laboratory leaked and we had ti use 2 big towels to clean up. Staff was very nice to move us to another room which was much better. However, the carpet in the 4th floor hallway smelled of urine or mold. Only ate breakfast at hotel one morning, tables weren’t cleaned off. View of the lake is nice but trash in the water next to pier needs to be cleaned out.

Hotel is old. They’ve updated the floors, but that’s all. Our tub was supposed to be white, but was black in the bottom. The light in the bathroom randomly turned off and on while you shower. The beds are AWFUL. We were so sore from how hard and worn out the mattresses were.

The view of the lake in morning was everything. I took points off because when we got there our tub was dirty and hair was everywhere. When we called the front dedk he ssidvthey didn't have another roombto move us to and the staff was off for the night, so there was no one to clean the tub. We had to go to walmart to buy cleaning supplies to clean the tub and flip flops so our feet dont touch it either. The people there were apologetic bitbthere was nothing they did to accommodate the inconvenience of our trip.

Dust everywhere. Room smelled like mold and chlorine. Mattress was worn out and hard. Bathroom had mold around the tub and faucets.

We checked in and entered room. The bathroom had not been cleaned. Hair was everywhere. The sink had toothpaste in it and around it. Pillowcases on one bed was dirty along with the sheets.

My husband & I have stayed here for many years. We have seen the updates & renovations. We were on a spur of the moment trip & booked a room. We walked into room & all we could smell was MOLD!! So, we checked air conditioner, then saw a chair right beside air conditioner that had mold on the arm of chair! Another chair in the room was dirty with stains. Then we noticed lamp shades on the lights opposite the air conditioner were covered with mold! My husband went to desk & told the lady on duty the problem & we were given another room, however the mold room needs to be addressed! The old furniture & lamp shade needs to be thrown away! The room will never be clean until the moldy furniture is removed! 😡

The room was dirty and mold was found in the room.

Our room was dirty. Had someone leave hair on our shower walls, plies of dirt in the corners of the room like they swept but didn’t want pick it up. It smelled moldy and musty, I said something and it was blamed on being next to the lake. Our microwave didn’t work unless you held in the plug in correctly, fridge made a weird noise. The continental breakfast was still partially frozen. There was never anyone at the front desk really. If I wanted fresh towels I had to go down and get them. There was stains on our bedding. Was highly unimpressed considering paying almost $100/night plus the cost elevator broke more than once and staff said it was a regular issue

I stayed in room 308 and all of us got bitten by bedbugs, we woke up with rashes and itchy skin.

Pictures online do not match what the inside looks like. There was black mold all in our room! Blood on walls! Hair on "clean" towels! I have never been so disgusted by how dirty this was

Real nice spot, you can walk out to the lake and see all the turtles, I think people feed them because they come swinging towards you. The hotel it self had a great breakfast. Comfortable beds. The only knock I had on it was I don’t believe the shower curtain was installed properly and kept drooping, allowing water to escape the shower space. I’m sure our room could have been the exception, but make sure you don’t have the clothes you’re going to wear too close to the tub.

The remote was missing. At desk they got a remote from a room that the TV was not working. When back to the room discovered the TV in my room did not work either. Was moved to another room where the TV worked. One hour delay in getting settled.

The view of Lake Hamilton from our room was amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings.

Our trip was a quick, over night stay in Hot Springs. The room was just what we were looking for; clean, quiet, and comfortable. Check in was easy and fast. The hotel was just half a mile from the restaurant we were having dinner at so that was a plus. We will definitely be back next year!

Old furniture in rooms. Had mold in places. Needs updating

Hotel is situated right on lake and very appealing. On the outside it shows to be in good shape, but the common areas, restrooms and details of room cleaning could stand a review. I also requested a quiet room away from everything (got that) and was assigned one with very noisy AC.

CONS FIRST: Check-in took much longer than expected. The elevator doors were filthy on the inside. There was hair in the shower and on the tub and bathroom floors. The tub/shower drain was clogged, which is super gross for a hotel. The toilet would refill every 10 minutes or so... and it was very loud when it did that; a high-pitched screaming sound. The air conditioner in every room was ridiculously loud. I mean RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. Every time our A/C/ unit kicked on, it woke me up with a jump. And every time either of my neighbor's units turned on, I was aware of it because theirs were so loud as well. The floor felt like it had sand on it. Our screen door was torn all along the bottom, so it was pretty worthless when it came to keeping the bugs out. There was mold growing on the legs of the fabric chair (there was a rolling chair, too). The sheets were either sideways on the bed, or they were the wrong size... they were constantly pulling up and off around the corners. The chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable. The pool had lots of dead bugs and debris in it. (This won't matter to some: the tv did not have any streaming options - for kids, that's bad.) PROS: The staff were very kind and helpful. The grounds were lovely. The view from our 4th floor room (lake side) was beautiful. The free breakfast was not bad at all. The room was spacious. The sheets and towels were clean. The lights worked. Second time staying here. Will not likely stay there again.

Likes- the view of the lake Dislikes- 1. the room was 60 degrees when we checked ln. We turned the air conditioning up and opened the door to the balcony for a few minutes. This caused the entire room to become completely soaked. The floor was too slippery to walk on. We had to wipe the TV and the floors with a towel. All our clothes were dampened. When we told the attendant about the issue, he told us there is a known condensation problem in that room and not to put the air under 65. 2 The tv would never work until a person would come to the room with their magical controller and connect it 3. The breakfast was not good. Very small selection. The juice watered down.

Upon arrival I was given a room key that was occupied by another guest. Thankfully no one was in the room when I opened the door. I noticed their luggage and closed the door immediately. The cleaning staff was very rude when we asked for towels. The room had a smell. The shower curtain and sheets were not properly clean and had an odor . I did express this to management and was only given 10% off. I will not stay here again.

We had water pouring through the light fixture in the restroom. I asked to be switch to another room and was told no because they were full. Once maintenance was called they decided that had an extra room that we could be switched to. While we were waiting for a new room we asked the staff for towels to clean up the water pouring out of the restroom and was told no and call the front desk all the while they had a cart of towels while they were cleaning and stocking rooms right outside our room.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were super nice. Great, affordable accommodations.

Check in process was terrible. The front desk was unattended, I called multiple times to reach someone, no one answered. I had to wait an extremely long time just to get my keys, and I arrived in the early evening. Front Desk Agent was not helpful.

The breakfast was pretty depleted by 8am. Also i am still concerned regarding the 106. payment taken from one account when the total amount was taken from another account i am concerned when i will get the 106 back.

Everything was perfect :) staff was amazing, even switched my room from one bed to two due to traveling with a friend.

Staff was amazing. Manager was one of the nicest people! Perfect for the hospitality business! Breakfast was great. All the staff were so much!

Great hotel! Not really in walking distance, but easy drives to all the hot springs things. Price is great because of this, and it was really nice and quiet for our stay even on a weekend.

Beautiful views and away from the hustle and bustle of the more trafficked areas of downtown.

Staff was very friendly. When we went to breakfast the juice machine was broke. Some of the outside areas need to be fixed.

The breakfast biscuit was hard and dry. The gravy was thin and runny. The banana was good.

Breakfast was one of the worst I've had in a hotel. I stay in hotels 2-3 days a week. Serious lack of effort from Baymont hotsprings. Also, the TV system takes a nuclear scientist to run it VERY DIFFICULT

The outdoor area was great and the staff was all very friendly. The only downside was the breakfast, it left alot to be desired. They didn't even have milk for the cereal.

At the time we were there (April 2024), the restaurant was closed. The previous operator had pulled out and a new one hadn’t taken over yet. But it was a great place to watch the eclipse from. The hotel had plenty of glasses for people. We set up camp at one of the tables on the pool deck, others set up lawn chairs. It was quite the party.

Very disappointed this advertisement was a bar and they did not have a bar and it was not all that clean. The kitchen was area was terrible and my room was dusty. I would not recommend the advertisement is incorrect and I would appreciate

Lovely stay Beautiful location and views Very convenient location to bathhouse row. Breakfast was just ok compared to other hotel breakfast. Needs some improvements I’d definitely stay again!

Pool, hot tub, bar were all closed. Breakfast not very good and juice dispenser was broken so no juice. Best part was Nice water view! Room was spacious.
