Great location but facility is lacking overall cleanliness and maintenance. Hallway carpets are atrocious! Rooms are just ok and could use some serious TLC. The pool is available but the access is weird and unfriendly to use.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a very disappointing experience. There were no staff present at night, which made things difficult when issues arose. The linens were dirty, the floors were filthy, and to top it off, there were no light bulbs in the lamps. The dryers didn’t work either, as they had no heat. The elevators were unreliable, and to make matters worse, there was a fire alarm at 1 am. No staff were available to handle the situation, and the fire alarm panel had the key left inside, allowing anyone to deactivate it without proper checks. The only bright spot in my stay was Ms. Sofia, the housekeeper. Despite the language barrier, she was incredibly sweet and helpful. God bless her, she truly deserves better than working in a place like this.

Overall, hotel has run down. Dogs barking in hotel. Cigarette smell coming from rooms as you walk down the hall. Mattress was horrible and miserable to sleep on. "Free Breakfast" was just coffee and packaged muffins. Only doors that worked to enter building was front door (so if you parked on side next to a door you still had to walk around to front). Shower handle took forever to figure out how to get water warm. Room not overly clean. Staff was indifferent to complaints/concerns.

Hotel has definitely seen better days, it did not look this run down inside prior to the last renovation! The entire hallway smelled, & not pleasantly! My room had no TV remote, when another room was offered, it, also, did not have a remote for the TV. The person at the desk did not know how to re-program the TV remote, instructions should be printed out & laminated for them to use! As has been the case for a decade with this hotel, no luggage cart was accessible. Making everything but the front entrance an alarmed emergency exit only is VERY HOSTILE FOR THOSE OF US TRYING TO USE THE HOTEL & HAVING ANY LUGGAGE WHATSOEVER!! This was the first time in a decade of using this hotel that I saw roaches running across the floor in broad daylight, there were also ladies at the front desk complaining of roach infestation in their room as I was trying to resolve the TV remote situation. I normally have meetings in my room, this was the first time in a decade I was embarrassed to have to use this facility. Without a very sharp upward change in this declining direction, I no longer, after a multi-year association, feeling comfortable using this hotel. Tried to speak with the hotel manager, Michael, after checking out, he was extremely difficult to reach & then seemed unconcerned about the situation I encountered during my stay, alas, customer service seems deceased.

Cochroaches, no pillows or blankets, not enough dishes for our room. Room was old and dirty. Pool was cold and filthy. Husband stepped in bodily fluids and sex toy under bed. Breakfast was stale granola bars.

I highly advise you find somewhere else to stay. Traveling for work has brought me to some very nasty hotels, but this is the first hotel that i’ve ever canceled after one night. Bugs in the room, utensils with food residue, stained pillows, closed pool, “free breakfast” consisting of JUST oatmeal packets, etc. It was disgusting. I paid more for this hotel than i did for the beautiful Air BNB that I decided to stay in after. The staff was very nice though, dealing with my issues and giving me a refund. But the staff themselves stated how many of the cleaning staff didn't show up for work the one night i spent there. So that should tell you enough about how the place is treated. I mean this in this nicest way possible, this hotel would provide more to the customers by tearing down and becoming a parking lot for the hotel next door.

I was told it had a fitness center and it doesn’t. I could never find ice machine and when I did, it was broken down I will never able to get ice. The ladies at the front desk were very rude. No one ever spoke. They were not smiling. they always seem angry. It was only one young lady from another Hotel that worked there. She was nice and the men were OK.

This hotel appears to be housing homeless people so it is run down. Some corridors smell more than others. The HVAC is not balances so howling sounds of air being sucked through the door undercuts is prevalent. The pool has been closed for almost two years for lack of upkeep. My clothes smell like smoke now just from being there. It was nice to have the kitchen & extra living room space but unfortunately, we would not recommend this place.

It was convenient for getting to the airport and the suite was large and well-appointed. The desk clerk was not very friendly, the elevator button didn’t work and we had to pay extra for wi-fi

Pool wasn't clean

Rude front desk lady. We get to our room and the bedroom area is flooded. Housekeeping came up and mopped up the water and as soon as she was done the water kept pouring in the room from the roof. The curtains were falling down because the ceiling couldn’t hold the weight. Called front desk and is was a man who said no rooms were available and said we couldn’t get our money back because we used hotel.com. I insisted he write something that stated what happened and he wrote one line and told us to leave. We were polite and treated horrible. I have pictures of the room. Broken light, drawings on the bathroom door, broken curtains and flooded

The carpet in my room, 214, was stained from end to end. The tub was rusted, there was severe rusting inside the microwave, and the room smelled like dogs. Feeling uncomfortable to walk on the carpet barefooted is a sure sign that a room is unsanitary. Don't be fooled by the "free breakfast." I was offered a nutragrain bar and chocolate muffin from the front counter.

Property is in terrible shape - smoke detector hanging off wall, rusty/corroded fixtures in shower, mold stains, light fixtures broken or missing covers, stained carpet. If this was a discount hotel, I would say you get what you pay for, but I paid close to $250/night.

It was full of roaches everywhere in the room, and it was supposedly a no smoking room but it reeked of cigarettes, the bathtub was dirty and has dead roaches.

Overall this was one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. It started with photos online did not match at all what the property looked like. The staff we encountered was extremely rude. The bathroom was falling apart including water spraying out of the wall. Paid for a sleeper and received only a chair. Was given a coffee pot when we requested but no coffee or coffee cups. Overall bad experience.

I was very disappointed with this stay. The room was so dirty. The carpet was soiled and had not been vacuumed. The floor was not vacuumed with crumbs and food. The dishwasher was broken, old canned food in cupboards. One single dish towel was dirty. The phone didn't even work. A roach crawled out of the dishwasher when we came in and put our food on the counter. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires out of the wall. Mold in the shower gross stuff clogg the drain. It smelled like vomit in the room. Our puppy was not allowed out of his kennel because floors were so disgusting. The ironing board cloth was grossly stained. Gross spots smeared on wall. Didn't know if it was buggers or bugs. We stayed because we had driven 10 hours and got in at 11pm and didn't know the condition of the room until 2 hours later after going out to get food. My kids were so grossed out at the condition of the room when we got in it. We were too tired to look for another place to stay. I heard my son telling his friend it was worse than camping. I told them if they showered to keep their shoes on. They chose not to shower. We kept gagging. We used the complimentary plastic cups to use to turn on water. There was urine stains in front of the toilet and fan cover was missing exposing hole in the roof. Would not recommend this room to anyone looking for a safe clean place to stay. My son passed 2 shirtless young men in the hallway with a gun in hand. Not making any of this up for a free room. $167 night

I woke to roaches in the bathroom. Told the staff and left. I know they couldn't give a refund because i went through a third party.

Terrible. The room had clean bedding and towels. That’s it. It wasn’t cleaned before we came in. Pics show food in the kitchen sink drain, hair in the tub, sticky floor throughout, a NEEDLE shoved down in the bathroom sink drain, some kind of white “cream like” substance on the bathroom counter that was wet and sticky, blood splatter on the floor and bathroom door. In the lobby, a puddle of coffee on the floor that I alerted the staff of when we checked in. The next morning it was still there. This place is disgusting

This was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I have stayed at may extended stay hotels and have never encountered the issues I had with this hotel the first room we had had no towels the bathtub was dirty. The TV didn’t work and the smoke detector was beeping so we contacted the desk. they moved us down the hall to another room. However, this room was infested with bedbugs. The bathtub also was dirty and the entire place smelled of cigarettes. The bed was dirty. The towels were dirty and there was a clear crystal substance all over the counters., I went to the store and ended up locked out of my room because the key didn’t work and there was a note that the front seat didn’t open till 7 am. There were 2 other guest sleeping in the lobby for the same reason.not what someone expects when they spend that kind of money for a single nights rest. After no sleep all night I was finally able to get I to my room missing the breakfast and the house keeper went thru the hall banging on every door like it was military or jail. Check n or get out- this stay cost me more than the price listed .

Cockroaches everwhere. This is the only hotel i've ever left. I checked in then saw the room and left. The light bulbs where growing fuzz, like they've never been cleaned and the mattress and bedding had stains. Worst experience ever. I expected more from an extened stay.

Very basic, but clean. So basic I had to ask for a hair dryer. Coffee pot, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils are available upon request. Multiple items showed poor maintenence. Top drawer in dresser broken, cracked, chipped, and broken tiles, cheap vinyl flooring, water spigots need adjusting, no tub stopper. A convenient place to stay, but we won’t be back.

I had a hard time sleeping the first night. It is pet friendly and a dog across our room barked constantly and woke me up at 4 am. People slam doors all night, our a/c made too much noise when turning on. And, even when the floor has been remodeled, the door filters too much light and three sudes. The room was very clean.

No remote in the room for the tv. No complimentary water of coffee makers. Pillows were very flat. A lot of noise in the hallway from other customers early in the morning.

Room as good size for 2 people. Bed was a bit to soft for me and the sofa bed mattress was too thin. Had a leak the last night but they compt us for the night. All in all i would stay there again.

The service and cleanliness was very good! However, the furniture and appliances are well beyond their service life. The fridge had a broken handle. The furniture showed painfully obvious wear with the main dresser sporting severely bubbled particle board around the bottom and drawers that the bottoms were soon to fall out of. The remote for the TV could not turn it on or off and could only control the volume and could only toggle the channels up but not down. The yellowed microwave worked but the display was barely visible. A building exit hall had a broken "Exit" sign dangling from its mount and was turned toward the door itself. There was an apparent water leak in the ceiling close to that sign. Is a phased remodeling and/or furniture and appliance replacement in the works? I recently stayed in two different Extended Stay properties in Houston Texas and both of those properties were just as worn and tired. The site is denying me permissions to upload photos.

Hotel Rooms are in poor conditions, damages to the walls, furniture, & appliances. Hotel itself is okay they keep as clean as they can. Walls are thin since your able to hear people in nearby rooms & in the hallways. Hotel close to the Valley Metro Station.

Checked in, receptionist said there was NO hot water until Monday. No empathy towards the situation, had already paid for hotel and did not have time to go somewhere else because concert started at 5 check in was at 3 and I still needed to get ready after a 5hr trip from California. The room was terrible dirty no couch no chair no desk looked nothing as promised when reservation was made. The bath tub was disgusting and I had to shower in very cold water.

Staff at front were nice and helpful. First room reeked of cigs and the bed broke when I sat on it. I switched to another room. No smell but the room was old. Like stains on carpet, corners of wallpaper torn up, bathtub had cracks. Water pressure was abysmal in room. Came out squirting in bathroom. Under sink found a dead roach and an almost empty spray can left. Drawers had used napkins and other open plastic utensils. Washer door was busted. No utensils except a plate in washer. Bed luckily no bugs but yuck. Mystery red, brown , and yellow stains. Filthy. Just gross.

not sure exactly what defines ‘long term”… if these are travelers or longterm local residents… but this place is worn out and kind of a dump. Nothing grossly offensive… but the bed is soft and has a huge dip in it, the shower feels like a sprinkle and does not flow properly, the shades dont seal out light totally… carpet is stained… hallways feel like a cheap apartment complex past its prime… on the good side it was quiet, ac works, and it was pretty clean… towels n bedding fresh.

The place is reasonably clean, quiet, safe, economical, and off the beaten path just a bit. It is conveniently near St. Joseph's Hospital and less expensive than the other nearby hotels. The tub in 322 was only usable as a shower, and the exhaust fan did not work, however that was sufficient for my short stay.

From the moment we attempted to check-in the experience was horrendous! Homeless sitting and loitering the parking lot and lobby. No one at the front desk after 10 mins waiting. When she finally came out of the back, she was texting and laughing, completely inattentive. Gave me directions to my first floor room, and when I brought it to her attention the key she gave me was for a third floor room…her response was “my bad”. After arriving in room, the toilet would not flush. The button was broken inside. Had to flush manually by removing the lid.! Attempted to call the desk, however the phone did not work! Went back down to desk, to request another room, however after waiting 15 min and yelling for someone, I finally went back to the room. “Free Breakfast”. HA! There are packets of hot chocolate and I stand oatmeal at the coffee station in the lobby. Oh, and spoons. That’s it…not even napkins! At 193.00 for the night, I can tell you we will never stay there again. BEWARE!!

Great staff Just amazing

Got there super late after having been driving for 12 hours straight. Just wanted to sleep. Went to check in and was told i couldnt because their system was down. Wasnt offered any kind of accommodation or anything even after showing them my booking. Was told to call the reservation line so i did and after 15 minutes of arguing with them for a refund they told me i had to call guest services but they didnt open until 8am. I ended up sleeping in my car on not the best side of phoenix. Still waiting for my refund too

My stay was not a good experience, the check in lady was very unprofessional and and rude. I also wasn't given the correct room that i reserved. The manager also did not try to make things right about my room. I was told that there was nothing they could do to make things right. I will not be coming back to stay at this motel again in the future.

When we arrived at this property with our family of 4, we found out that they had over booked and our room was not available and that they had NO ROOMS availabile. Our family of 4, at 11pm, was given no other options. We were told there was no manager available to speak with until Monday (this was friday night) and the receptionist was extremely rude, not only with us, but the 2 other families who were also turned away. Thankfully we found a hotel 0.4 miles away and walked ourselves down the street, in a questionable area. The only good thing was that we didn't have to stay in this hotel that smelled strongly of marijuana the second we walked through the front door.

It was very quiet and we were not bothered by anyone and the staff helped is with everything we needed. The lady at front desk never hesitated on anything we asked her

The staff was great both nights and did their best with what they had. I had to wait to check in because my room was not ready and then I didn’t have any bath towels, and what they had available was slightly damp since the dryer wasn’t drying properly. And then the next day my room key wasn’t working. It was overall suitable for a place to sleep, but the facility wasn’t something to write home about.

Enjoyed about a 2 mile walk around the city area & ate out. Had appt. with Dr. next day , so it was a convenient place to stay.

Close to downtown and the light rail and bring s in literally right there! Block away

Two words come to mind: Dirty and dive. By far this was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Thankfully, it was one night. Walking the room corridor, even in poor light I could see most doors, door frames had dirt smudges and the carpet looked like an old race track. My room. The bed and bathroom were fine, but again the carpet and sofa were disgusting. The one vending machine was broken, so I had to walk to a near by Walgreens to get bottled water. In the morning, there were no muffins. I had one coffee and the carafe was empty, no staff attending.

Staff very rude. Did reservation and was only given one key because I did not state we had 2 rooms. Attendant did not bother to check we had prepaid and was wanting to charge again. Once you walked in the hotel it smelled like weed. Even up to the 3rd floor. The breakfast included just coffee nothing else was displayed. I asked the attendant and rudely she stated it is right behind you that is it. In the room the counters and table had crumbs. The floor was not swept correctly. The fridge and micowave was not cleaned. There was no blow dryer has stated on the website. There were people arguing at all hours of the night into the early morning hours. Overall the worst stay we have had ever.

Worst customer service, I booked for 2 queen beds, but I got a kings bed instead, there was an iron box, but no ironing board, I asked the staff, they said they don’t have any extra one, bathroom sink was clogged, don’t be fooled by the free breakfast, there was only coffee and a granola bar, never stay there and don’t recommend

The hotel had a good location with lots around it. It’s obviously dated. It is not the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been to. It was minimal and had the rates been less I would have expected what we got. Not horrible but I probably won’t stay again especially for the money we paid. The breakfast ran out and wasn’t refilled at it was 8:30 and went till 10:30 on the weekend.

Hotel front desk workers lack customer service hospitality. Did not make eye contact with us or speak more then 3 words to me during check in. And when we checked out. Asked feont deak for clean linen for couch bed was givin a sheet. Waited about 10 min and the guy came back and ask why i was still waiting so i asked for a blanket he was more worried about his motorcyle then making sure we got the linen we asked for.. theyre was dirty linen in a draw bybthe bathroom and hair in the tub. The couch bed mattress was stained and looked as if someone urinated all over it.the free breakfast was a coffee station with mini muffins. Will not stay in that facility again.

The location is excellent. The outside looks good. But don’t be deceived. The inside is dirty, outdated and the amenities non-existent. There was never a “ breakfast” of any sort offered. The coffee service consisted of packs of tasters choice and hot water. No hair dryer. No ice. No water unless you want to pay 2.50 for a very small bottle. There is a notice you can ask for a coffee maker, plates etc but they didn’t actually have any. Basically a very expensive beat up room the size of a closet for an exorbitant price.

No "grab n go breakfast" as advertised, coffee only. No ada grab bars in tub/shower. Wife has mobility/balance issues, made showering unsafe. Traveled with another couple, but our rooms weren\'t close together, in fact we weren\'t even on same floor. Ridiculous spray aereator on bathroom sink faucet. A bit noisy from barking dogs and roaches were crawling around kitchen counters.
