I enjoyed my stay. For the price the room was good. I would give it 5 stars but the service was hit n miss. 1 good staff member for every bad one and they unnecessarily charge $5 per night for parking. The room was clean and bug free. Nice cold a/c.

Nice pool, nice fitness center

Elevator didn't work. I couldn't stay and carry luggage to a 2 floor room. Now i have to dispute the charges. I had to find another hotel. Missed some of my activities because i was busy looking for a new place to stay.

I wouldn’t come back. Stayed there a week. Elevator was out of order 3 times. Staff was ok but didn’t seem to really think it was that big of a deal it not working. Seriously!! What about handicapped people?? And what’s with their bathroom fan?? Sooo ungodly loud and annoying when you’re in there. The only highlight was the pool. I had stayed here last year and it seemed to run better but now a year later, it seems it’s slowly falling apart in areas..

Suite was great, large room, comfortable bed, great amenities in room. Hot tub was cold and seemed unclean, pool was ok.

They collected a $100.00 deposit at check in and only refunded $89.82. Their excuse was a $5/day parking fee, which was not noted when I made the booking on Expedia or mentioned when I checked in. The lady said it was in fine print on the check-in form I signed, which is of course inadequate and after the fact. Note that this hotel isn't in a congested downtown area, it's in stupid Tempe across from a shopping mall. An extra charge for parking is bait-and-switch nonsense. Be forewarned.

Elevator was broken. Pool was closed. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Holes in bathroom walls. Paper towels in room were brown from smoke. Hallways smelled of weed. Do NOT stay here.

Website is a lie. Pool and Jacuzzi both out of order. They were still prominent on the website, but obviously not functioning. Just plain deceptive. No reduction and no refund option. Room smelled and had not been fully serviced.

A centrally located hotel next to really good shops and restaurants. It's a little ways from downtown Phoenix but it's very close to the airport. Hotel has a good pool, gym, and laundry facility. Good stay

The hotel is not clean and hallways reek of Marijuana. Mattresses uncomfortable and furniture stained and outdated. No hair dryer.

When we first arrived, the room was dirty. The floors weren’t swept. We found an earring on the floor, and the shower still had hair in it from the guest before. The receptionist was able to get us a different room, which was much better.

We booked our hotel a while back when we found out we were chosen to adopt so this is our “baby moon” Looks amazing in the pictures BUT when we got to the hotel, there was a stench which it’s pet friendly so we understand! It’s pretty dirty but we’re only here to basically sleep because we are so excited to explore Arizona. Long story short. We decide to stay another day. My wife tells me Absolutley NOT THIS HOTEL, but I explain, we’re just sleeping it’s only $115 a night. Not to bad. They first tell us no. They’re completely booked. No problem, I totally understand. Then a manager comes and tells us it’s totally okay it’s no problem we can book another night. We get the rate. $100 for another deposit and then $250 for one night. More than double for this room. We’re going to stay because we already paid but I Definitly would not recommend this place at all. I will say the blonde lady at the front desk was really sweet. I’m not sure if she was a manager but we really appreciated her kindness.

Check in not until 4 PM, and even if you get an early check in offer online, it's not honored. I had to wait 4 hours to check in, and there's no lobby to wait in. There's a bench in full sun in the middle of the parking lot, and that's where I was told to wait FOR FOUR HOURS while watching homeless people urinate across the street. They didn't offer to let me into the pool area to wait in the shade there. The bathroom fan was super loud, the furniture was dusty, and a metal end table was rusty. When I picked up the bath mat to throw in the tub at the end of my stay, the bottom was filthy, so I know the floors haven't been mopped. Be sure to plug the peephole with tissue, and be aware that you can see light around the entire door frame. I experienced a man yelling, "HELLO?" at the door across the hallway from mine for about 10 minutes at 2:00 a.m., so that was a fun little perk as well.

Expectations not met. A complete inventory of lacking services, amenities, and cleanliness based on room reserved. 1-check in fine, allowed early check-in but had to finalize the with charge and signature after and in room. 2-In Room phone did not work. Rceivd call from front desk, could hear them, they could not hear me. 3-ADA light did not work. 4-bathroom had spot cleaning, hair on hygiene bottles in shower and sink. I Spent 20 minutes cleaning bathroom. 5-shower curtain missing, shower sprays heavily into bathroom and walls, walks rotting. 6-kitchenette amenities missing. No pots/pans. 7-floor at entry sticky, not cleaned. 8-Silly String on ceiling and light fixture. 9-film on built in table. Spent 10 minutes cleaning kitchen. 10-no heat or air. Did not work. 11-could not prepare any meals as no working equipment available in room or at front desk. 12-checked out early. Did not stay 2nd night of reservation after that. We did not receive the quality of services the property claims to include. Nor the cost of the room for an ADA room. Absolutely horrible! Everything in the room needs to be cleaned, repaired or replaced. It’s either missing the amenity or it’s broken or dirty. The person who checked us in was advised that there were issues when he called and couldn’t hear me. He came to the room and explains that the repairman wasn’t there but was coming tomorrow. That didn’t happen. So we checked out. I still haven’t received my closed folio!!! REFUND PLS!!

Very dirty

The room was old and outdated and looked nothing like the pictures. It was not clean and had an odor. The smoke detector kept beeping and the front desk staff tried to change it but it did not work.

The obly thing i did encounter was roaches in the room my whole stay

Not much good to say here. Property old and furnishing worn out. Found dead bugs in the cabinets holding plates and glasses. But the worst was the smell — a combination of wet dog and pet urine. No cleaning service unless you are there for a week.

This property was ok. It had all the necessary amenities and the suites are nice with the full size fridge and stove. However, the rooms can be a bit cleaner. The table in one of the rooms I stayed in (I had separate reservations and stayed twice on one trip) was still dirty from food after the last occupant. The bathrooms were not clean, as I noticed a layer of dust on the shelves as well as hair on the sink and floors. I did have an issue with my room, but it was promptly corrected by switching me to another room.

Refrigerator noisy. Shower did not drain. No water pressure. Curtains were torn.

We had a 1 queen bed. Nice size, clean. Bathroom door was funny trying to latch closed. No remote for the TV. But ac worked great. This az heat has been hard. But the room. Was nice and chilled.

Quiet location, close to everything, beds were really comfortable. Would like to have a firestick tv instead of the basic cable but other that that its enjoyable

Love how close I-10 is & there's shopping/food close by also. The TV's aren't smart so it's reg cable

Great trip, had a super late check-in about 130am, staff was available and super friendly. Gave a list of places to eat and go shopping if needed. Room was clean, just a little outdated but nothing to cry about. Had a huge desk to work on which was perfect for me. Bed was super confortable, a bit low for my taste but the pillows more than made up for it. Made matters even better was that AZ Mills Mall was right down the street. All in all, staff was excellent and even let me get a late check out as my flight got pushed back from midday to midnight.

The room was spacious, and clean. No housekeeping service. But they had extra towels.

Room clean, hallway light did not work when I checked in. Refrigerator and AC made noise all night. Take ear plugs if you’re a quiet sleeper.

Clean rooms with ample space. Supplied for an extended short stay, much better suite cooking options vs. regular hotel. Shower is nice and hot. Facilities are overall a bit outdated. I didn't check out lobby, gym, or laundry but available if needed.

Property was a bit tired, but our room was updated, quiet,clean and comfortable! Just slept in the room, as we were there to watch our son race.

Even the one-room ¨suites¨ are spacious and well-furnished, including a microwave and a dishwasher. Bedding is good quality. I imagine that it´s a comfortable place for a long stay. The downsides are a lack of pedestrian access (due to traffic, I had to take an Uber to go to a shopping mall that is 500 meters from the property) and decor that is quite dated. The front desk staff had trouble explaning the deposit policy, and in general seemed a bit overwrought.

I always have a great stay at Sonesta. Rooms are clean and the staff is always friendly. I never have any issues

Night front seat was great. Theresa was pleasant and made it very easy and comfortable to check-in. Answered all my questions. Room was clean. Had a great stay.

The manager charged my card for $414.00 and then stated the payment never showed up but my bank told me they had the tracking number and the charge is pending because sonesta suites hasnt confirmed or denied the payment. I've been out 500 and it my mother in law didn't come down and pay I would have been sleeping on my car.

Room was good size, clean and quite nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. However the staff was not attentive and not very helpful. No one was even at the desk when I arrived to check in. After waiting several minutes I tried to call from the exterior phone but no one answered. I went back to the front desk and waited several more minutes before someone finally came up apologizing that they had to use the restroom…. Also, when they explained they needed to take a deposit for incidentals, I asked what “incidentals” they were referring to and they could not explain it other than to say it was for parking. Please note, there is no mini bar, snack bar or room service at this hotel so $100 for incidentals seems a little steep. Upon checkout of course, I was refunded the entire amount less five dollars and some change for parking. This would have been a five star review had it not been for my experience with the staff at this location. Sad but true.

Great staff at front desk. Jocelyn and Noelle are awesome. Very nice and helpful.

Great place. The kitchenette was stocked with paper towels and dish soap, which is a minor thing, but helped the stay feel more comfortable. I made a mistake with my reservation and they were incredibly accommodating. They called to confirm, helped me extend the reservation, and made a somewhat stressful situation better. In addition to being a vision, Noelle was very friendly and helpful.

My company typically books me into 3 or 4-star hotels, but this one stands out as the best I've ever experienced. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making my stay truly enjoyable. I appreciate the exceptional service and attention to detail that sets this hotel apart from the rest.

When we arrived we waited over 30 min in the door because there was nobody in the desk to open the door. We contacted the 1800 number and they didn’t answer them either she kept telling me that they were short staffed which i understand but leave at note at the door at least we arrived at 1am and waiting there was not fun! As we were tired, and the employee still had an attitude as if it was our fault.

The manager for the graveyard shift was fantastic & informational.The room was so beautiful. It was like a studio apartment. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I would most definitely stay at Sonesta again.

We got checked in opened our room door to someone else inside. They gave us access to someone elses room which made me scared and on edge the whole stay

Excellent place, friendly staff. Close to the airport, and my job sites. Excellent restaurants in the area also.

As soon as walked in to register, i was greeted by Syna. What a courteous lady. She made check in easy and made sure to inquire if i needed anything at all. The room was clean, in a very nice neighborhood and across from a big mall with plenty of restaurants. Im definitely staying there again. register, i was hreeted by

Friendly employees, good sized room, full kitchen and nice pool with barbecue grills. In the process of a complete remodel, looking good so far. Not located in the best area. Good place for the price.

The location was great, and overall, it was a great experience.

One thing I wish I knew is that Phoenix is very spread out and that its not easy to get to downtown with transportation. If you are not looking to go where the action is and just want to realax and shop its the perfect location. Walking distance to Arizona Mills.

Close to freeway exits. For the most part quiet. Many options around for many things.

This property was located within a mile to major highways so we could get all over the area very easily. Rooms were quiet with wonderful kitchens. Staff was TERRIFIC! Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. the property was a wee-bit shopworn but the value, location, and staff made it well worth it. Pool and pool area were wonderful.

I think you get a lot for the price. I like how you have a stove, a full-size refrigerator, and utensils. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. There wasn't anything I didn't like except that you don't serve breakfast, but if you did, I'm sure I'd be paying more.

Liked that it had a mini kitchen

Property looks nice from the outside but is a bit worn on the inside. Halls and elevator worn. Room was fine, bed very comfy and clean. Bathroom door was cracked right across the middle. No filtered water in gym. Zero amenities. No teabags, honey or food except for purchase.

We liked that there’s a kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and a workout room. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport, close to restaurants and a movie theater. It’s centrally located so we could get to a lot of the Spring Training games. It could use a facelift but it worked out well.

This place doesn’t even provide coffee. There is a coffee pot, but no coffee. They cover that up by saying there is coffee available 24 hours in the laundry room. I was there 5 days and that coffee maker was out of order the entire time. How cheap can they get. The room was pretty nice but the hallways and elevator are in very bad shape. Extremely dirty carpet, dirty walls and doors and elevator didn’t operate smoothly.

The hotel use to be my number one choice, but animals started to lodge and the place stinks of animals. The carpet all around, thehall ways, and even thefurniture to wait really smelled. The place needsabig upkeep and cleanse from animal stench. The service was great and the kitchen is top. The bed mattresswas too uncomfortable and the sheets, smelled so so. Overall, i was disappointed this time around.

Basic but good enough. Most Suites hotels offer breakfast, but this one doesn't. You can fix it yourself in your suite. I went to a Waffle House a short drive away. Bed was comfortable enough. The shower was OK, but the towel was minimal.

The person manning the desk at checkin what grumpy. I was disappointed that there wasn't coffee in the room, although there was a coffee machine. I don't care for powder creamer, so I was disappointed that was not an option. The laundry room where the coffee machine was, had vending machines that were empty.

The staff was very helpful. Rooms are clean, decent and have everything I needed for my stay. The only thing what disturbed me was my neighbours slamming with the doors. You can actually feel them walking and jumping on the floor, everything shakes. So in terms of isolation they could really improve. I did also miss breakfast options. The store is very small. They could easily provide some more items in the store. Furthermore, just fine for me and great value.

No lotion in the rooms, the pool was dirty, bed was hard. The on site "store" only had begals! Staff was great! Room was nice. It's located conveniently to food and stores.
