We were very excited to be going to Tombstone for the night and with the heat lately looking forward to the pool, no where did it say the pool was not working till we checked in very disappointed with this, the hotel is old and up on the side of hill beautiful view of area. With an old hotel you get old fixtures and plumbing the taps dripped all night, but the room is clean beds good and it has a fridge and coffee in room, would i stay here again yes but i would also ask about pool.

Very disappointed in our stay. We had two children and the pool was closed for maintenance. The pool was green with growth happening! We booked this place because it had a pool and breakfast. The pool was closed (had been for a while and will likely continue to be for a while), and breakfast was watered down coffee, toast (butter and honey), and dry cereal. If I didn’t already pay in advance I would have not stayed there. We were very disappointed in our stay. The kids were very bummed. It was hot Arizona weather with no pool. Unfortunately, it was really disappointing. Rooms were old and not updated. No phone or microwave in rooms. Added a star for the very nice Front Reception lady, the appealing landscape surrounding the building, and the view.

Rooms are decent for the price. Views are amazing. Easy parking and close to all attractions. Great place on a budget. No breakfast as restaurant was closed. Pool closed for maintenance. Enjoyed bonfire rings in the evening.

You get what you pay for. The property is old. The towels are scratchy stiff and your bath towels are as big as most hotels bath mat. I had to attempt to skim the pool to swim but the deep end was coated with green algae. It’s convenient off the highway.

Our room was infested with roaches, even with lights on they were all over the place in the open. There wasn’t any other place to stay so we had to stay for the night. There was also a camel spider in the bathroom. But it’s the desert so that’s not surprising.

Don't stay here. Room very dirty. Hair in bed sheets and under bed. Crumbs on top of the bed. Something on walls probably mold. Window had a hole and crack. Pool was closed for maintenance- they should take pool off of their site it was brown and disgusting. We left and went to the hotel next door-which was very clean

Avoid this hotel! We were given a dirty (yet made up and looked ready to go) room only to find bed sheets covered in human/animal hair! The new linens placed still had a lot of hair. No Wi-Fi, no satellite tv, no ice machine, and no hot water. The knob in the shower was broken for hot water. Bathroom sink was leaking nonstop. Hygiene products in bathroom looked used, old, and rusted. Stains on mattress and pillows. Picture on the wall was broken. The floors were beyond disgusting as it was filled with hair and turned your feet black within minutes. Hotel is not “old in nature” but in very poor, poor condition. I will say the ladies working were kind but the owners were flat out awful. No compensation or refund was given. Overall, all the positive reviews are down previous management. This new management is awful, insanitary, and provide horrible customer service. When I spoke with management, they both acted surprised by these events. However, these recent reviews say otherwise. Just avoid this hotel at all costs.

Our sheets had socks stuff to the inside of it .. not sure if they even cleaned the sheets. The shower drain cover had hir in it like it wasn't cleaned. the sink had hair on it.

Road noise was not too bad, but there is traffic/noise until wee hours of morning. Heater in our room was pretty loud/clanky.

This is an excellent little spot literally 3 minutes away from Tombstone Historic portion of town. It felt like it literally sat at the edge of town. Waking up to the view of the mountains and just sitting out and enjoying the evening was wonderful. It was a great little spot to stay a few days. Beds were comfortable, it has this oldness to it but it was a great feeling, not like something needed to be updated kind of old. The only negative thing was the drainage to the sink. It was stopped up and had a hard time draining. Breakfast was nice and simple, eggs, sausage, with options for pancakes or waffles.

Our room was very "tired" and showed lots of wear. The pieces of soap were so small they were useless. Fortunately, we had brought some of our own. The towels were small, thin and rough. The breakfast was the worst we ever had at a motel. It was posted as continental, but another sign said a "hot" breakfast was available after 8 am. Apparently hot meant heating up cold waffles.

The staff is probably the best ever. We were so taken care of. They made us feel so welcoming. We had breakfast every morning. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. They told us that the place was under new management and was going to be going through renovations. That's a good thing because it does need some tender loving care. Some updates and things like that but other than that this place is amazing. The views were spectacular the pool needs more love. Please don't change the staff.

Less than a minute from downtown Tombstone. The mountain view is oustanding. I've stayed here in both snowy and scorching weather and no complaints. Hot Breakfast is a nice added touch. The front dest folks are super friendly AND helpful. As they say, "I'll be back".

WE arrived Jan. 31 to check in. I asked what time breakfast would be the next morning as it was included in the Expedia description of the stay. They said dining room was closed for remodelling and was not open. no breakfast or compensation for it would be provided. The next day when checking out there was no visible remodelling going on, the day before either.

It was a great cute little place to stay. I was not impressed with the "hot breakfast" of frozen waffles next to a microwave. They also had a few cereal choices with a gallon of milk in the fridge, one flavor of bagels, and a broken coffee machine.

Website is full of compliments about the breakfast. One of the reasons I booked there. Under new management and there is the most spade breakfast imaginable. You don’t find that out until you go for breakfast and see the little sign that tells you of the changes. They should at least have the decency to take it off their site.

Close to Tombstone and lovely view; room was quaint but poor paint job in bathroom, sink almost blocked and tap turned wrong way! Breakfast disappointing: no choice of cereal, no regular teabags (only 2 types of herbal), no jam/marmalade and no knives - had to spread little sachet of honey with spoon. Sign on door said "sorry no hot breakfast" but hot breakfast isn't advertised - confusing. Don't know why they just don't take the sign down!

I liked the property because it was close to our destination. The people who work there were nice and helpful. We knew that the property is a bit outdated, but even then the views were phenomenal. However, when I booked the hotel, the reviews were raving about the hot breakfast. The pictures showed a different story than what the reality was. It was disappointing. I am not sure if it is because it is under new management. The sausage was not cooked, you had to make your own oatmeal, which I did not see hot water for. Overall, it was ok.
