Gjesteomtaler

Hva gjestene synes

When I made the reservation it was for a hotel NOT a cabin, that was far away from the amenities; pool, lake view, hot tub. My husband has difficulty walking and a cabin we were in was too far away to enjoy the amenities. I would not recommend both hotels.com or the hotel itself.

Overall, great! Very clean, tastefully decorated. We had a 2nd floor King (#205). Amazing, picturesque view of the lake, beach + pool. 2nd floor rooms are on ground level, so easy access to lobby and parking lot. Note, the only way to get to the pool/beach is by taking an elevator in the lobby or using stairs thru restaurant (which was a little awkward). In retrospect, a 1st floor room might be nice if you want to walk right out to the beach/ pool area. By the pool, there's an outdoor barrel sauna with a translucent side that gives a view of the lake. Inside, there's a large sauna attached to the cold plunge. Indoor cold plunge/sauna were new + clean. I didn't have time to use the gym but it was above average for a hotel gym w/heavy dumbbells, cable machine + I think I saw kettlebells. There are a few odd design choices in our room that were slightly clunky, even though the room was lovely - the bathroom sink faucet is placed so far back that it's impossible to wash hands without spilling water all over the counter. Bathroom sliding door was heavy and sticky. When sitting on balcony, know that you can't see the view well thru the wooden poles of the balcony - but there are great views if you stand! Kind of a bummer they were always out of towels by pool. Wish the hotel did not allow kids in hot tub - wish parents were more considerate of letting their kids run wild there. Know that the restaurant plays music until closing, while the beach is peaceful +lovely, it's not quiet.

The remodel of this hotel was fantastic. The design and location are unbeatable. The views, the fire pits, the sand chairs, the pool are all super nice. The pizza place is great with top notch dinner views. A few things. The ceilings are thin and could hear a lot of noise above us. Feet walking a lot, possibly a dog walking and jumping off the bed a lot throughout the night and early morning. Also they sell Resort Passes for the pool, a majority of the chairs were taken by locals leaving guests with no loungers or have the squeeze 2 people onto one chair. At $300 a night, a guest shouldn’t have to fight locals for a lounger by the pool. Overall very good, we would go back but please limit how many resort passes you allow in the pool at once. It should exceed 25-50% of seating.
