One of the best things about Grand Pacific Palisades was the size of the room. It was very spacious, and having two separate bathrooms was especially convenient. I think the layout would be ideal for families or larger groups traveling together. However, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay. First, the facilities felt quite outdated and could benefit from renovation. We were also surprised to find a welcome message addressed to someone else in our room. It was a small detail, but it made us question how carefully the room had been prepared for our arrival. The biggest issue was the mosquitoes inside our room. We personally killed two mosquitoes, and we were concerned about getting bitten while sleeping. As a result, we felt we had to keep the bedroom door tightly closed throughout the night. Overall, while we really appreciated the spacious accommodations and family-friendly layout, the outdated facilities, lack of attention to detail, and mosquito problem negatively affected our experience. I hope the management will address these issues, as the property has the potential to offer a much better guest experience.

We were at the hotel for the Fourth of July weekend and we love Grand Pacific Palisades. We hope to coming back soon 😊.

This place definitely wasnt the worst, but it really needs some TLC. Our biggest issue though was that the supervisor (Naz) who checked us in told us that the childrens splash pad and pool area were closed for filter cleaning when we checked in on Tuesday, but that it would be open the next morning. So with this information we planned to have a resort day the following day and save our final day Thursday at Legoland so we could enjoy that area along with the rest of the amenities/ activities the resort had to offer. But the next morning that area that was closed remaind closed and when I called Naz at the front desk she said it would soon be opened up and that they were just doing the finishing touches. Hours later we get a text message saying the pool area would not be opened after all today (Wednesday) and that it wouldn't be open till Thursday morning. This made us very upset because had she told us the truth from the beginning we would of gone to Legoland on Wednesday instead while they were still working on that pool area. Then left Thursday as our resort day to enjoy the kids pool area. We did end up going to the pool area on Thursday after our Legoland trip but it was already very late in the evening and the kids at that point were shivering within 5 minutes of been in the pool and splash pad area. When I checked out on Friday morning I told them how upset I was and it seemed like they did not care on making things right. Won't ever be going to this resort ever again.

Enjoyed are stay family staycation - Kids pool, playground, Adult pool and firepit s'mores - Used to come here years ago with my friends timeshare. You can see they have not maintained it well. The bathroom flooring had tape holding down the tile, the property used to be very clean - leaves everywhere - no one cleaning them up. The foam in the kids water park and playground very warn - There were used band-aids around the kids pool. Since they were there all weekends it indicates they were not doing a good cleaning in the kids pool. Watching the kids have fun was enjoyable. I will probably be back again, because overall it is a fun place for the kids. Just hoping they pay for more staff to attend to the details.

The resort was very nice. We did not use any of the amenities as we only stayed one night due to a conference and the location close to the venue. The room and staff were very helpful, rooms are large and clean. Furnishing we nice however, the fixtures could use dusting and the first floor windows had spiderwebs. Unfortunately we could hear running in the room above until 10:30 pm.l called the front desk around 8:30 pm and they call them. But since it was not 10 PM, they could not enforce anything until 10. After 10:30 ish and a second call the running stopped.So if you are an earlly to bed, and dont like runners above you, ask for top floor.
