Booked a 2-night stay thinking it would be a great experience, but unfortunately it turned out disappointing. We arrived the first night exhausted after attending a family viewing, and all we wanted was to rest. As soon as we entered the room, there was a terrible smell, and the bed sheets clearly had not been washed. I know the difference between old stains and sheets that were simply not cleaned, these were not washed at all. There was visible hair and food left behind from the previous guests. I went downstairs to report the issue, and thankfully they were able to switch us to another room. My family and I had to move everything late at night, and during the process I accidentally left behind my gold cross necklace. I reported it immediately and even left my phone number in case housekeeping found it, but no one ever followed up with me. There were several concerns during this stay: 1. Honesty and communication regarding lost items. 2. Cleanliness of the rooms. 3. Parking - they charge for parking, yet the parking area is a 5 minute walk from the building, which was inconvenient. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. Had I booked somewhere else, I likely would not have lost my necklace or had to switch rooms at midnight because of poor cleanliness standards.
