The room was clean. Good service. Seems like the room was relatively recently remodeled. Parking very tight. Spaces were small. Not a lot of parking spots and not much street parking nearby

They are in the process of remodeling the rooms. I had a remodeled room that could have been a lot cleaner and could have had more thoughtful features (maybe they are not done yet?) Eg the bathroom window did not close and the screen was filthy. There wasn’t a shelf or ledge in the shower to put soap or shampoo bottles so it had to sit on the floor. Also you have to stand in the shower to turn on the water as one door is stationary. The 2 shades don’t make the room dark for sleeping. A nice mini-kitchen with a stove, brand new, but no kettle, coffee or other kitchen items. Nice to have motion sensor lights under the bed! Like the new decor. Good to have a new mattress and sheets! Very nice staff.

Great location that is an easy walk to the Grandview stairs leading down to the beach. Shops and restaurants are nearby with a quick walk or really short drive. Very no frills, not even a coffee maker, but multiple coffee shops right next door. Not immaculately clean, but clean enough. Parking is limited and TIGHT! Overall, well worth the stay. We'll probably stay again.

The property itself on the outside it whatever, we came to see the beaches, and everything else in the area, but the room was disgusting, like no one tried to clean it. The bath looked like a dead body was poorly cleaned up in it, and the paint of the bath was peeling off. Ants came out of the drain and swarmed the trash can. We were given towels but had to throw some to the side because they came with weird stains and such. It’s cheap for the price and maybe a one time stay but i wouldn’t come back. The room looks nothing like the pictures.

Bathroom tub very dirty. Looks like it's not been cleaned in yrs. Bugs some died & blood on the beds. Didn't stay. I went right back into the office&told them n there supposed to refund all my the fund. Never stopped to do anything in the rooms. We had 3 rooms. All the same. Nasty. Was told will get full refund & made sure to get receipts for the refunds

Got to hotel and would ny let us check in an hour early even though looked empty. After returning got checked in and went to room and it was filthy. Bedding was stained, tub was black and fixtures and towel holders were rusted.

The Rodeway inn is a choice brand hotel. It matches the star rating and I got exactly what I was expecting. The only gripe I had was the WiFi was a bit spotty. Reception staff were friendly, personable and helpful. They don’t have uniforms like a 4 or 5 star hotel, but there were very nice people, all of them. The location was great and close to the beach, right next door to a nice little coffee stand. Overall fantastic value and matched my expectations.

For the price, you can't beat it. Midweek stay. Was quieter than expected. The bed was old, but firm. The TV was great. hvac worked great. I was very comfortable. The shower was old and stained. It's not a huge deal for a bachelor. I wish there was a chair, or proper place to sit and work or eat. The couch in room was not comfortable.

Getting here isn’t easy as it looks. Better go 25 mph and look ahead or listen to GPS and follow their directions or you’ll miss it. Checking in was fairly easy and quick. What I didn’t care for was that there was a $5 fee when you check in that I didn’t know about, but whatever. Once I got to my room, I was surprised with how spacious it was and thankful for how comfortable the bed was. Having a/c is always a must for me and I was glad it worked really well. But having the option of a ceiling fan was a really nice touch. The area around you is fairly quiet and you get a feeling of safety as well. It may be a bit of a walk, but you will be gifted with an amazing view of the beach and the smell of ocean air as you approach it. Just be warned though, the stairs that lead down to the beach is a bit steep so watch your step. I would definitely recommend this place again to anyone that needs a quick place to stay and a quiet nights sleep.

Because the rate was so good I decided to take a chance on the location right on Highway 1 and I paid for it with lost sleep - even though it was a low traffic volume I heard every single car that went by! If you could get a quiet room near the back this would be an exceptional location. Oh, and check your bathroom window - mine was stuck in the open position (a skinny thief could climb through).

I rarely rate this low, but sadly it is deserved. The room was not in good shape. The toiletries were non-existent. The technology required a rocket scientist to get working. I called the front desk and was treated extremely rudely for not knowing that I needed to hold a button under the belly of the TV for 5 seconds to coordinate the remote to the tv. The pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. This is one place that I will not be giving a second chance.

The front desk was being chewed out while I was waiting to check in. The guy was livid. I didn\'t find out what it was about. When I went to add a night via Expedia after staying 3 days a different front desk clerk came to my room and asked for another $30 for an "online booking fee." I told my son to challenge that, and the lady said then he should at least pay a $20 "management fee." He challenged that and they threw him out of the room. Expedia called them and they told Expedia that my son trashed the room. He didn\'t. They said I didn\'t leave a deposit so the made-up fee was actually $40. I did pay a deposit and I bet it\'s pretty hard to get it back. DON\'T STAY HERE!!!!!

Great location that is an easy walk to the Grandview stairs leading down to the beach. Shops and restaurants are nearby with a quick walk or really short drive. Very no frills, not even a coffee maker, but multiple coffee shops right next door. Not immaculately clean, but clean enough. Parking is limited and TIGHT! Overall, well worth the stay. We'll probably stay again.

I give this place five stars for the price and the location. For those two reasons, this place was amazing. If I paid more money, then I would have expected more. The location was perfect! Close to lots of fun, hype restaurants in Leucadia... And only a couple of blocks to the beach.

Overall it was a great stay. Convenient to many restaurants and grocery stores and coffee cafés. You do have a few homeless people that hang around in the evening. Love the decor of the room, beds were comfy. Stayed in a Deluxe room that had a small kitchenette, but there was no kitchenware. Not sure if you had to ask for it or not. Only complaint, was that the floor was pretty dirty.

Friendly staff. Great neighborhood with good restaurants all in walking distance. It would be nice if there was coffee either in the rooms or the lobby, but good coffee is just a short walk away.

Stayed here two nights while helping our daughter move. Location is good, walking distance to coffee (there is no coffee at hotel) and food. Beds are hard; needs updating. Staff is friendly; check in was good.

I have stayed at this hotel years ago and remembered that they served breakfast. They no longer serve breakfast which was a bummer. The hotel was really good otherwise.

Charged me nightly cleaning fees but didnt clean my room. I have never been charged by any hotel seperate cleaning fees!!!! No coffee available at all. This is the only hotel I have been to that doesnt have coffee nor breakfast options. Charge 20$ fee if you dont return key. Absolutely ridiculous. Had contruction going on in rooms above me. Very loud.

The hotel is being remodeled and the remodeled rooms are very nice with a very useful kitchenette. Housekeeping is very minimal though. They remove trash and change towels. They do not clean bathroom or sweep the floor. When asked at the front desk they replied they only do it upon request because guests complain if they move personal items. They run out of clean bed sheets one day. Found ants in the room and their solution was to give us an ant trap, which they never cleaned the next day. Front desk staff very unhelpful and unprofessional. Rates high. Great location though and they get away charging these rates providing minimum service. Not even coffee.

Very nice renovated room with nice style and great kitchenette facilities (no utensils, or cooking pots, etc. though. You need to bring your own). No coffee machine. Very comfortable. Prices reasonable during the week but they go up excessively during the weekend.

Nice comfortable room, the only thing I noticed was that the floor in the room was dirty. I walked around in my bare feet in the room and when I went in the shower, I left really dirty footprints. Also, there’s no place to put the soap when you’re in the shower no no surface to leave it on to leave it on the floor of the shower!
