It was fine, especially since it included breakfast! My biggest issue was that the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool. It even had a spout with cold water shooting inside.

Hotel is going thru renovations, outside has construction containers and unkept perimeter . Elevator does not work & had to climb 3 floors. Interior was new & clean! The shower was bes but the shower faucet was not working right, either cold or too hot, seems like plumber not installed properly. This could cause An injury to children or elder. Over all Rate was good, close to freeway, I give it a 2.5 star!

We enjoyed our stay here. Even though we were right next to the freeway it was pretty quiet. Except for the morning of check out, loud banging started coming from the room above ours around 830 am... i called the front desk and the gentlemen had stated they were doing remodeling. That's fine and all but next time have them scheduled for later in the day, not so early. Also upon check in we were not informed of breakfast hours or where it was being served. The rooms were nice and decent, not enough towels in my room so i did have to ask for more. The biggest red flag though, was the pool and jacuzzi! They were disgusting filthy and so so gross! Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. My little one was really looking forward to using it and was really upset we couldn't. But other than that, everything else was good. Would definitely stay here again

We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor and the elevator was not operational. TV did not work; no connection to antenna or service. Breakfast hours did not work for us (6:30-8:30 am), so no benefit. Beds were good enough to get some sleep, but no frills. Two small pillows per bed with only a think blanket that was aged. A/C did work. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Hotel is rundown. Pool was dirty, only one waffle maker in breakfast room and breakfast room was hot. Only one way in and out parking lot so you have to pass the hotel go over the freeway to make a u turn.

The room was gross and dirty. There was still hair in the shower. It sounded like someone was bumping the connecting door making it feel unsafe. The girl that checked me in was just sitting on the couch with her boyfriend when I got there to checkin.

This is not for you if you want fancy up to date modern rooms. It’s close to the beach and fairly priced but there was a lot wrong. The bathroom was dirty….trash on floor behind door, bathroom door had a hole. It just also needed a deeper clean. If you know you know. Shower controls were also very outdated and our water would not turn off. They had to call a plumber to fix the issue and did not change the room to another room while being done. They did not offer. Bed in room had two pillows per bed and linen was minimal sheets and thin blanket. TV did not work. AC unit barely worked as well as fridge they seemed to be on their last leg. Room also had a funky smell when we came in. Again it just needed a deeper clean. I really wanted better but you get what you pay for.

Doors had gaps underneath them, the room smelled like mold and cigarettes, the air conditioning smelled weird and was very loud. The bathroom looked dirty, and the carpet looked dirty. The bed sheets also had stains on them and overall looked unclean. Also the toom itself and the TV was pretty small. The elevator was broken and had to climb to the third floor, and the pool was not so clean. Overall, I've stayed in motel rooms bigger and better than this one. Very expensive for the quality provided. Would definitely not stay here again.

Room was decent, nice beds. Breakfast was great every morning! The pool was cold, but we came in April, so i get it ...we swam in the hot tub :) it was right next to I5 so loud. Also to exit you had to turn right, kind of a pain, because everything you wanted was left...kind staff and clean, safe property.

I made a quick trip to Encinitas for a spa day and hiking trip (Annie's canyon). The hotel had a convenient location as it was near my activities, as well as the freeway and the main strip near the beach. The room was clean and quiet (surprising considering how close the freeway is)! The room seemed to be recently renovated where a lot of the fixtures seemed new; I couldn't get the bedside lamps to work, but there were plenty of other lighting options. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was OK, but I would suggest getting a longer shower curtain as it was too short and had the floor covered in water. The included breakfast was great and saved time going into town!

The check-in young lady was very friendly and personable. While the walkways/building appear a bit worn, the room was nice-looking, clean and comfortable. - The TV did not work. It showed a message to go to “menu” and “check antennae connection”, but there was no “menu” button on the remote, and I did not know how to check antennae connection.

It had a very convenient location next to the freeway and the free breakfast in the morning was a delightful plus. The room was a bit stuffy and smelly, especially in the bathroom. I think it was coming from the shower drain. My neighbors were a bit noisy or the walls are thin.

It says its a no smoking property and that all smoking must be done more than 20ft from any door, yet so many guest would smoke cigarettes right outside of their door. The continental breakfast was very basic and was not equipped for when the motel was full. Most days my kids were never able to have waffles. The rooms were small with no closets or wardrobes, and had nowhere to hang up your clothes or your private belongings.

We were disappointed with our stay because at about 1:30 AM the ceiling started to leak in two different places in the room. We called the front desk several times, but there was no answer. We went to the front door and knocked for a while, but there was no answer. Outside of the hotel, there were bins of dirty laundry sitting in the hallway.

The absolute worst experience . Was not sanitary and their staff or receptionist GLENDA was the worst and rudest person I have ever encountered. She was not understanding in fact she was very hostile because they gave me a dirty room . I should be the one upset and instead she gave me attitude and was pissed off . The young lady at check in was fantastic! So friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff (Paty) was ver attentive, friendly and kept the breakfast area filled with food and clean. Love coming to this hotel. We always sleep well and comfortable. Highly recommend

Very clean, great location right next to the freeway. Check in was easy and friendly, breakfast was great and it didn't close until 9:30am which was ideal.We went to a wedding the night before so we didn't wake up super early.

Breakfast was good, I just prefer a meaty plate Every morningto pick me back up. There were days I had a plate full of sausages and other where I didn't but the gravy had chunks of sausage. Nothing wrong with the whole breakfast experience, just good some days and great other days from my perspective. The whole stay was amazing, even extend my stay 3times. I just could not leave. Thank you. All the staff was real nic3 and helpful the whole stays. From the multiple front counter workers to all of the cleaning personnel as well. Super helpful and happy to help beyond just a simple recommendation. I thank the whole staff for their kindness and eagerness in their professionalism to go above and beyond to even a simple question.
Breakfast was good, I just prefer a meaty plate Every morningto pick me back up. There were days I had a plate full of sausages and other where I didn't but the gravy had chunks of sausage. Nothing wrong with the whole breakfast experience, just good some days and great other days from my perspective. The whole stay was amazing, even extend my stay 3times. I just could not leave. Thank you. All the staff was real nic3 and helpful the whole stays. From the multiple front counter workers to all of the cleaning personnel as well. Super helpful and happy to help beyond just a simple recommendation. I thank the whole staff for their kindness and eagerness in their professionalism to go above and beyond to even a simple question.

Staff was rude, property is overall in a disgusting condition. Pictures make it look nice, but it’s an actually super ghetto. Can’t believe what we paid to stay in what was nothing more than a ran down motel 6. Room was the only thing that was decent. Continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee Machine was down. Imagine a hotel breakfast without coffee. Unbelievable. The small room was over crowded, they were out of everything and it just felt disgusting. We chose to pass on a free breakfast. Don’t not stay here. Thank me later!

The manager was threatening and demanded I vacate the room immediately. I had one more day that was paid for and refused to refund. This was due to my complaint that the room was not cleaned for the 2 prior days and he refuse to give me any new towels. Said if I did not like it leave I said no he then threatened and demanded I vacant. He was very angry and I fear that the situation would turn violent.

Room was decent, nice beds. Breakfast was great every morning! The pool was cold, but we came in April, so i get it ...we swam in the hot tub :) it was right next to I5 so loud. Also to exit you had to turn right, kind of a pain, because everything you wanted was left...kind staff and clean, safe property.

I made a quick trip to Encinitas for a spa day and hiking trip (Annie's canyon). The hotel had a convenient location as it was near my activities, as well as the freeway and the main strip near the beach. The room was clean and quiet (surprising considering how close the freeway is)! The room seemed to be recently renovated where a lot of the fixtures seemed new; I couldn't get the bedside lamps to work, but there were plenty of other lighting options. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was OK, but I would suggest getting a longer shower curtain as it was too short and had the floor covered in water. The included breakfast was great and saved time going into town!

Close to the 5 freeway and the 101 business area. A little rundown but clean and safe. Front desk lady was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Beds were comfy, cleaning product smell in the room was a little strong but remedied by leaving the door open for a bit. A good, inexpensive place to stay.

The place was great. We stayed for 6 nights. The room had a king sized bed and a couch. It had a desk, 2 nightstands with reading lights. The vanity was big. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator worked fine. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. Free breakfast from 6:30-9:30am was a nice spread. Eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Yogurt, fresh fruit and much more. We will definitely be back here.

This is the third time we stayed at the property. While the location is convenient with regard to dinning options, shopping outlet, and location, the property is in disarray. The elevator wasn't working. We had to climb to the the third floor with our luggage. Items in the free breakfast option had been reduced compared to past years. Bagels and cereal were the main staples. The television remote was broken. This was the third time we had issues with the televisions. It is more than likely the last time we stay at the property.

The young lady at check in was fantastic! So friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff (Paty) was ver attentive, friendly and kept the breakfast area filled with food and clean. Love coming to this hotel. We always sleep well and comfortable. Highly recommend

Very clean, great location right next to the freeway. Check in was easy and friendly, breakfast was great and it didn't close until 9:30am which was ideal.We went to a wedding the night before so we didn't wake up super early.

This hotel is SOOOOO over priced! It’s an old, dumpy place. They offer breakfast which was fake eggs, gross “ sausage”, and some other junk in a tiny over crowded room. We couldn’t wait to leave!

It says its a no smoking property and that all smoking must be done more than 20ft from any door, yet so many guest would smoke cigarettes right outside of their door. The continental breakfast was very basic and was not equipped for when the motel was full. Most days my kids were never able to have waffles. The rooms were small with no closets or wardrobes, and had nowhere to hang up your clothes or your private belongings.

Old hotel that needs refurbishment. There appear to be "homeless"people living there. They were hanging out in the parking lot every day drinking and smoking weed. Save your money.

We were in the handicap accessible room. The room itself was great. But getting in and out of the room was hard. My husband is in a wheelchair. He has a prosthetic leg and does not walk independently. He had to stand up and hold onto the door frame and door Handle to step up into the room. The same is true for going out as well. The entrance to the room is too high for a straight in entry with a wheelchair. Something to think about for future guests.

The bed was soft but that’s about it. From the front it looks great but as we went to park there was people all over the parking lot smoking and drinking one guy was even working on his truck while others had lawn chairs out in the parking lot just sitting. Walked into the room and it was extremely hot and smelly however it cooled down fast and I sprayed perfume to help the smell. The couch was dirty stained (nasty) the soap was opened (used) my walls in some spots looked like they wiped snot on them and it was not kept up. The bed was the only good thing!
