The hotel is nice, however they failed to tell us that the restaurant and pool were under construction. Breakfast at the restaurant was accompanied by a sewer smell that lingered around while eating. Then we asked the front desk about the amenities. They decided not to tell us that the pool was being overhauled and we literally had to walk over hoses to get there just to find out it was closed. The rooms here aren’t cheap and I realize what you’re actually paying for are the amenities. If these are under construction, I think the rooms should be discounted and there should be information posted about the construction before someone books. Moreover, I’m not going to accuse anyone of being discriminatory but I did find it odd that the front desk person was willing to go to the back to find a map of the property for the people in front of us, but could not provide one for us when we arrived. We had to search online for ourselves just to find the hotel room. There are things at hotels one can overlook, but when you’re paying a premium to stay somewhere, there really is no excuse.
