I liked the little things, ie pop for $1, fridge, mic & breakfast—yogurt, fruit (banana or orange) & donuts that were delicious! Pool is lovely! Wish parking didn’t have so many compact spots but overall I’d go there again happily!👍😀

I booked this room in advance two beds. When I arrived I was asked to give up My room for a king size bed. No discount for my inconvenience. I declined. There was no remote control in my room. Had to wait a couple hours to get remote. Hot tub was locked with pad lock. Could not get in with my key. Then it was cold. Towels are very thin and small. Beds were comfortable. Kid that checked us in was really nice but overworked with just him there.

Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel needs attention: liquid stain marks in hallway and stairs. Plenty of parking during our stay. Landscape kept in good condition. All the lights worked. Pool and jacuzzi was clean and in good condition. Shower water pressure was good and strong. However, the handles and controls needs replacing. The furniture in the room was mismatched.

Basic room with tv, fridge etc. Bedding and towels clean. Floor in bathroom could be cleaner (as in looked clean but when wiping up water from shower there was dirt on the towel), also handle on shower faucet came off. They offer to supply a microwave, and the front desk clerk brought it right away, but the outlet he plugged it into blew after 5 seconds. But pool and hot tub were nice, staff were all nice, and it was basically fine.

Location was good. Staff was friendly to me. Hot tub worked. Old style motel. Was next to highway so could hear some traffic, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Maybe it was bad luck, but this one was a miss for us. First off, the amenities werent as advertized. The hot tub featured in the very first photo was drained, even though it was perfect weather for it. The carpet in the room was covered in suspicious-looking stains. There wasn't enough toilet paper in the room for our three night stay, just two almost-used-up partial rolls and no new roll anywhere in the suite. The bathroom shelf was askew, causing anything you set on it to fall on the floor, and so was the shower rod, making the curtain hang down onto the floor of the tub. The towels were so scratchy you didn't want to use them. And the tub/shower diverter didnt work, so that the only way to take a shower was to ask for maintenance to come in and switch it. But then, we were stuck with just a shower and no tub, and as already mentioned, there was no hot tub either. Oh, and almost all of the parking was "compact". Fine by me, that's what I drive. Except that most guests weren't, and many spaces were totally unusuable because of vehicles parked over the white lines on both sides, making parking harder than it should have been.

The chairs are so filthy even sit on them. Places is horrible dirty and I couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there.

Very comfortable and quiet but since I was a housekeeping supervisor I noticed that a little more effort in cleaning the room could be really appreciated.

Room was very dirty. Beds were very uncomfortable. A lot things were worn out and broken in room. Rug was old and filthy.

Clean room and sheets smelled fresh. Just didn’t like the stained carpet, but everything else was good.

The carpet in the room was dirty and had many stains. Outside, the trash can, vending machine and ice machine were filthy.

A wonderful, well-situated hotel with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, within short distance of many restaurants.

This is a VERY dated property. With that being said, the sheets were clean, the towels and sinks were clean. Sketchy people at the hotel, wasn’t sure how safe our car was and definitely didn’t want to go out at night. The lock was flimsy. Across the street is a nice new Starbucks and Chick FiA

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was what we wanted as it was close to an event we attended. The room was very warm when we arrived and the air conditioner was so noisy that we had to turn it off to go to sleep. The room was fairly quiet considering it was next to the freeway. There was an emergency response event while we were there with police and fire vehicles on site. We don't know what happened.

Easy check in. Asked for a 1 hour later check out and they accommodated. Beds were very comfortable!

Very nice staff, very comfortable bed and pillows

The shower head was a little wonky, bed wasn’t as comfortable per my preference. Walls were thin so I can hear conversations from above and side of me. Overall, it wasn’t near perfect but it was still ideal. Place is clean. Room is a good size. I would stay again if I needed to for the price and location.

The room was spacious and clean. The carpet is kind of old. But the bed was comfortable. A good room for a reasonable rate.

No dining on premises. Clean but dated. On third floor you heard freeway noise all night into 2 am

The beds and pillows were comfortable, hot water later a long time but carpet very stained, curtains were shabby, and people were outside partying so night long and kept waking us up., could also here traffic on highway but thats to be expected it being so close by.

The bed in my room was VERY comfortable. I could lay in it for weeks. I also loved the atmosphere of the inn, the amenities were really good as well.

The ac unit is taking too long to cool the room, this makes it uncomfortable to be in the room. This is not a four star hotel

This is our 2nd time staying at the Oak Tree inn. The 1st time we stayed it was a very quick and easy check in. We stay at another hotel after we came back to town, and after our stay there, let me tell you I’d choose the Oak Tree Inn over that other hotel any day. Which is why we stayed again for a 2nd time and will be staying for our 3rd time during Christmas. I love the fact they accommodated us and gave us the same room requested from our 1st visit! Such a nice and understanding staff, love the little breakfast choices in the morning! Great for a quick grab if your headed out fast. All around best hotel/inn ever stayed in and we will keep coming back!

My stay would have been great except for the fact that when we checked in the clerk denied us from letting our service animal stay with us. We didn't have our paperwork and he wouldn't allow our dog to stay. We have stayed at so many hotels and we have never had a problem. My father in law highly recommended your hotel but i don't think we will ever stay there again. Nor will my father in law. It was just so disappointing.

The staff was friendly. They accommodated my request of having a room on the first floor due to my disability. The room was very clean and decent. The price is reasonable. Unlike Days inn at Duarte, the staff is horrible and discriminates against disabled people, and cancel their customers reservations. I highly recommend this place. I will be returning here.

It was great. I had an issue with them finding my reservation but they stayed with me and helped and got me in a room.

I get a call from them the day I'm driving there and ask me how many beds and what floor I would like. I told them 1 bed and first floor. I was very impressed and thought that was a nice touch. I also told them I would be coming in late around 10pm and they said no problem. When I get there I have to check in at a "Night window", which is fine. But the guy who checked us in seemed annoyed we were there then after 15 minutes of whatever he was doing back at the desk he comes back and says here your keys and I noticed it's on the second floor. So I ask him how many beds are in my room and he says 2. So I tell him that someone called me earlier and asked me what room I would like and told him I was to get something in the first floor as my girlfriend has bad knees and it was to be one king bed. He then acts upset and says he'll fix it. Then after that he says he can't as they are booked and that's all they have left. So why was I called to ask me those specific things then got nothing I requested? The place is old and the outside is full of cigarette butts and look old inside the room. The room was clean and they do have a selection of snacks for breakfast which was nice. It is also great location right off the highway and next to a few fast food places. One last thing... The parking lot is extremely small and it's hard to get a full size truck in there. Especially when all the compact cars take the full size spots leaving only compact spots to try and squeeze into.

I've stayed at the Oak Tree several times, all good experiences. There were new food options within walking distance which were a nice surprise. Friendly staff and good rates make it a great choice.

Super nice young man graciously brought us a microwave. Really accommodating and professional. Thank you for a good nights rest. We had a long trip ahead of us.

I had reservations at hotel, when I called someone on phone could not find my reservation and said they don’t take reservations for less then 6 people. I was upset and went somewhere else. Low and behold someone else at hotel calls me to confirm my reservations??? By then I went somewhere else. I did tell them my experience on my reservations mishap.

When I arrived the first night and started to put clothes away, the first drawer I opened had empty beer cans in a trash bag and a red g-string in it. They moved me to another room, I put some leftovers in the fridge. Only to find out the following day that the fridge did not work. The first time I spoke to the lady at the front desk they gave me a $56 discount. When I complained about the fridge, I was told I had to talk to the manager. When o returned from running errands, asked for the manager who from the get go was angry with me. We walked up to the room, him in a huff to look at the fridge. While in the room the manager insinuated that I unplugged the fridge or somehow was at fault for it not working. After the manager was satisfied that the fridge really wasn’t working, we went back to the front desk where he asked me what I wanted. I asked for a full refund, he told me that he couldn’t do it but could give me another $43. I said it really wasn’t good enough, but fine. As I was walking away, I grumbled under my breath and the manager proceeded to yell at me, telling me that I was more than welcome to check out and to stay at a more expensive hotel. Not wanting to get into a shouting match I simply walked out. Yesterday I got my bill from the hotel. But I will ask either Hotels.com to reimburse me or pressure the Hotel for a refund or I will call my bank to dispute the transaction. I included a picture of what was in the drawer.

The place was a little outdated but clean, there is a decent size frig and Keurig, front desk manager was very friendly and they had bagels, yogurt, and granola bars and coffee. The area was okay there is a chick filet across the street and many restaurants near by. The only thing I didn’t care for was that it was right next to the freeway.

This hotel is in Monrovia, but has easy access to the expressway (210) and shopping in Arcadia. There is a Chik-Fil-A across the street.

We only slept here, which was a good thing. The breakfast was an assortment of snacks, basically. No hot food. No milk. The extras, soap, shampoo, and conditioner were really subpar. The conditioner was filled with shampoo. No iron. The staffwere very nice and wanted to make us happy.

Nice clean spot for the night on business. Hot tub is hot (and the front desk guy was cool enough to go out in the rain to unlock the pool gate (I guess they figured nobody was going to use it in the rain)). Beds are comfy enough. Pillows are great. TV works. Breakfast starts at 6, so that's a bit late for us early risers/movers, but that's a me problem. Loads of eating options in easy walking distance, including a Starbucks right across the street. I'll likely stay here again (<1 mile from my office).

Comfortable hotel for an overnight stay. Easy drive to Huntington botanical gardens. Loved that chick-fil-a was just across the street (walked over) for breakfast. Hotel provided coffee and pastries for the morning. My only complaint was the pastries were past the best by date. Room was perfect for my family. Check in and check out was so quick. I would definitely stay here again.

A no frills hotel, it was a good experience. I have to say very honest people! My husband left his laptop in the room, and they actually called us to let us know they had it at the front desk! They offer a simple breakfast of bagels, packaged pastries, fruit and coffee. Rooms were clean and beds were confortable.

Property is in an easy-to-get-to location. Staff is friendly.There is a nice little breakfast - pastries, fruit, coffee. The rates are very reasonable. This is my 3rd stay there and if I'm in that area again, I will certainly try to stay there.

Nice staff. Exactly what we paid for. Coffee/tea and light brkfst bagels/yogurt in the morning lobby on-time was perfect. Had iron and board at desk when I asked. Would stay again.
