Room itself was nice, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker all worked for us. Great that they allow dogs for a $30 one time fee. However the floor was very gritty and dirty. I used wet wipes 4 times over and dirt was still evident. So I just asked for a broom and mop and cleaner solution. 15 minutes later had a very clean floor. Problem solved! On a positive note, the offerings for continental breakfast were very nice, with an array of selections, and the coffee was really good too. The staff were all very nice as well. Location is fairly quiet and walking distance to a lot of eateries.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We got to park right in front of our door for easy loading and unloading. We could have used a chair in the room, which we were told was supposed to be there, but one never came. this room had nice counter space, a/c worked well. Breakfast was average but had hard boiled eggs which was important for us to get protein. Would stay again.

I'm still wondering about the fenced in "lump" in front of the property. I thought it was a pool but did find one at the back. My friend (lives in the area) said it's been there for years and it's an eyesore. Rooms are adequate and the breakfast was good. Staff are really nice.

Great little hotel. They are renovating the parking lot so there's a gate in the middle of it but it's clean and quiet even being near the road. Staff is awesome and friendly. The breakfast is cereal, toast, coffee and juice. Nothing fancy but it's something. There's a coffee maker and small fridge. My only complaint is the toilet is not bolted down properly and it's unstable. Big rooms with ceiling fans and nice shower/tubs. Will stay here again.

The staff was very nice. The chairs around the pool were broken. The furniture is dated, but the beds were comfortable. It took forever for the water to get warm. It was a terrible waste of water.

Disappointed. Booked our stay because there was a pool. Even drove by to make sure it was working. Once we checked in, found that it was padlocked and unusable. Wi-Fi didn’t work, phones didn’t work, hotel phone number doesn’t work. Room smelled awful. Breakfast was minimal with all carbs. Rooms need updated badly! Couldn’t wait to leave.

This was a cheap hotel with excellent staff and a free breakfast, however the property and room were in bad shape. The pictures looked nice, so I thought it would be fine for a single night before heading into Yosemite. We were given a room on the second floor. Some of the cement stairs leading to the second floor were replaced by rickety boards and the railing moved as well. There were also torn chairs outside the rooms, unfinished painting and tile work, badly done diy repairs to walls and switches, and a heavy smell of cheap cleaning chemicals. The front of the property was fenced off with cyclone fencing and tattered tarps as if construction was going to be started a long time ago, but had not. The staff and breakfast were nice as was the room price, but do yourself a favor especially if you have kids and spend a little more and stay at the Holiday Inn or similar down the street. This place gave my family the creeps. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but I was devastated at my choice and holding back tears when we entered our room. It was by far the worst hotel on our family trip.

The room itself was clean when we arrived, however their website mentions daily housekeeping which is totally inaccurate. We were there for 3 nights and they never emptied the trash, cleaned the bathroom, or gave us fresh towels. We had to go to the office to pick up towels. The breakfast area was clean and well-stocked with a continental breakfast. The remote control did not work and the attendant said he would fix it the next day but never did.

Feces on the side of toilet tank near handle. Roach in the bathroom. Door threshold strip was hanging loose with screws exposed. Smoke detector had been removed. Lousy TV, and Wi-Fi didn't work. On the good side, shower was new and nice, beds were clean and comfortable, and staff was nice.

Property and room are run down. Problem with ants in the room. Towels and sheets are very worn, pillows lumpy, and bed squeaky. Didn’t provide enough washcloths for people in room so one person had to do without both nights. Floor was sticky. Has microwave and fridge in room, but ice maker was not working. No hair dryer and only two hangers provided. Door didn’t seal (visible gaps), which might explain the ants. Pool water was green (not operable). For $174/night it is way overpriced. There are three newly built hotels on the same road…

It was perfect for a quick 1-night stay. The bathroom was spacious, the room was very clean and the staff was super nice and suggested some very good places to eat. The continental breakfast was not so good, the cereal was stale, danish didn't taste fresh. The biggest downfall was the cleaning-chemical order. It was too strong we had to have the door and window open and it still lingered as we slept. We even noticed the neighbors had their door open for the same purpose, to air out the room.

Other than WiFi that didn’t work throughout our stay, the multiple holes in the wall of the bathroom where towel racks likely were located, an outlet for the tv with no cover, and an arm chair with noticeable stains on the cushion, everything was fine. Room 19 just seems to need a handyman to patch and paint and install a towel rack, replace an outlet cover and remove the armchair and change a lightbulb in the ceiling fan. We did get creative and used the ironing board for our towel rack! The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Yosemite and the staff were all friendly, but the hotel itself just needs some TLC before I would return.

Had a great stay, front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. They laid out breakfast early to accommodate the half marathon runners and gave us great recommendations for food. Only complaint is the AC didn’t work well, hot all night. Would definitely stay here again

Very friendly staff. This is basic lodging for a tourist area. We knew this going in and we are satisfied. Internet was poor. We had to go down the street to Starbucks or McD's to take care of some online issues.

I love my room at the Oakhurst Lodge, it was clean, everything worked well, and the high ceilings were super cool! My only reason for four instead of five stars is, if you have a dog, their property is not very accommodating for a good place to use the restroom. One of the grass fields in the back got stickerbushes all in my dogs paws. But i 100% recommend for travelers without pets!!

This Lodge location is incredibly convenient for accessing Yosemite, with nearby coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Additionally, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. However, I am giving this lodge a three-star rating due to a few inconveniences I encountered during my stay. Firstly, the bathroom doors are sliding and open into the room, which means that you can smell everything when someone is using the bathroom or showering. Secondly, there are only two lights in the entire room, which proves insufficient for adequate lighting, and there is just one night lamp. Moreover, one major issue I forgot to mention is the hot water situation. To get hot water in the shower, you must run the water for a frustrating 10 to 15 minutes. It appears that the water heater is located far from the room, which is not only inconvenient but also a waste of water and money for the property. If you're in a hurry and need to take an early morning shower or a late-night one, be prepared to wait. Lastly, the breakfast offered was below average and did not meet my expectations. Overall, while the location and staff were great, the room's amenities and breakfast could use significant improvements.

Stopped here for 2 nights when going up to Yosemite National Park. The room overall was nice to stay in. Although it is dated, it was still clean with the basic amenities. Being able to park in front of your room was great too. The complimentary breakfast was lackluster. Very few choices to choose from. Two things of concern though: The Wifi was slow and the bathtub in my room was clogged and the water took a while to drain.

The room was clean. Parking is partially concealed from street view, offering added privacy. The staff did an excellent job explaining directions. Breakfast is very good and the view from both the dining area and terrace is impressive. Wi-Fi could be improved.

This hotel was especially accommodating to our needs. Our flight coming into Fresno was already going to be a late one, so we called to verify check in, they said just call when we're 10min away and they'll meet us at the front counter. Our flight ended up being delayed and we didn't end up getting into town until 1:30am. Someone was there to meet us like they said after calling. They also had already set up the baby play pen and thermostat in the room prior to us getting there since we were traveling with an infant. Parking was available right out front of our room. Everything is on ground level. The room and bathroom were a decent size. Nice Dove soap/shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion were all in room for use. There was a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. My only complaints would be the fridge got too cold and made the formula baby bottles into icy shushes....i unfortunately had to dump them. I did not see anywhere to adjust the temp of the fridge after that. And our room TV worked, but i could only power on and adjust volume from the actual tv, those 2 functions would not work on the remote control. Other than those 2 issues which are fixable, we would definitely stay there again. You can't beat the price and the accommodating service. Also, so many things were in walking distance around us, it made it very convenient.

This hotel was especially accommodating to our needs. Our flight coming into Fresno was already going to be a late one, so we called to verify check in, they said just call when we're 10min away and they'll meet us at the front counter. Our flight ended up being delayed and we didn't end up getting into town until 1:30am. Someone was there to meet us like they said after calling. They also had already set up the baby play pen and thermostat in the room prior to us getting there since we were traveling with an infant. Parking was available right out front of our room. Everything is on ground level. The room and bathroom were a decent size. Nice Dove soap/shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion were all in room for use. There was a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. Had a great stay, front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. They laid out breakfast early to accommodate the half marathon runners and gave us great recommendations for food. Only complaint is the AC didn’t work well, hot all night. Would definitely stay here again

Woman that checked us in the night we arrived was super friendly. My fiancée requested an extra blanket for me because I forgot the one I use when we travel (I'm always cold) at home and the woman brought one to our room for me. So thankful! Check in was super easy, and the woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, and the hotel was walking distance from several restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Yosemite.

Oakhurst Lodge is a great place to stay! Conveniently located in the center of town, clean, comfortable and affordable, it is my first choice for staying in the Coarsegold-Oakhurst-Mariposa area. The property is nicely remodeled and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable (both outside and indoor sitting area available). Very convenient location if you're visiting Yosemite National Park.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The motel itself was certainly older, but there were no issues with cleanliness. It was also nice to stay out of the big city, and Oakhurst was nice and quiet little town right near Yosemite. The breakfast was limited in options (i.e. if you like protein for breakfast, you will be disappointed), but fine for kids. The pool was also good. It was actually nice to stay somewhere a little different to the standard cookie cutter chain hotel

This Lodge location is incredibly convenient for accessing Yosemite, with nearby coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Additionally, the staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. However, I am giving this lodge a three-star rating due to a few inconveniences I encountered during my stay. Firstly, the bathroom doors are sliding and open into the room, which means that you can smell everything when someone is using the bathroom or showering. Secondly, there are only two lights in the entire room, which proves insufficient for adequate lighting, and there is just one night lamp. Moreover, one major issue I forgot to mention is the hot water situation. To get hot water in the shower, you must run the water for a frustrating 10 to 15 minutes. It appears that the water heater is located far from the room, which is not only inconvenient but also a waste of water and money for the property. Enjoyed our stay! Front desk lady who waited for us late in the night was really sweet. The room look like it was renovated recently. Nice and quiet area. Breakfast was also really good. My only gripe was the bed could be a bit better. Would still recommend to anyone heading to Yosemite!

The room was clean. Parking is partially concealed from street view, offering added privacy. The staff did an excellent job explaining directions. Breakfast is very good and the view from both the dining area and terrace is impressive. Wi-Fi could be improved.

Disappointed. Booked our stay because there was a pool. Even drove by to make sure it was working. Once we checked in, found that it was padlocked and unusable. Wi-Fi didn’t work, phones didn’t work, hotel phone number doesn’t work. Room smelled awful. Breakfast was minimal with all carbs. Rooms need updated badly! Couldn’t wait to leave.

I love how quaint this little motel was. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was very very clean as was the bathroom. My only complaint is that the shower floor was extremely slippery because there was no grip things on the bottom to keep you from slipping. It was easy access to this place. Plenty of restaurants around to eat at. As a matter of fact, we ate at the restaurant right behind this motel and it was exceptional as well. The highlight of my trip to this motel was meeting Stacy while I was enjoying my breakfast in the lobby. She made sure we had everything we needed and if we wanted anything else she said she would be happy to get it for us. We then struck up conversation and it was as though we knew each other forever. She made my stay especially meaningful. I would recommend this place to anyone. You can't go wrong!
