Days Inn by Wyndham Pinole Berkeley

I stayed in 2 different rooms due to taking a side trip. In one room I had no coffee maker so was given one - it didn’t work. I took it back and got another - it didn’t work. My tub drain barely drained so I stood in dirty water, the heater didn’t work well, I have to buy Clorox wipes to wipe down the doors due to visible dirt and my shower mat towel was filthy - I had to ask for a clean one. In the second room, I also had to wipe down the doors, the heater worked great but the air conditioner did not & the blow dryer was broke.

There was no water in any of the downstairs rooms at this hotel for the entire 5 days I booked this for. Apparently the water had been out for weeks and I did not get a notice, a discount a refund nothing. The water had been out since a earthquake some weeks beforehand. Not sure why they were allowed to stay open or why booking through a third party company disqualified me for any discount or refund or common courtesy. Very unsanitary and dangerous for guests.

It's nothing like the pictures and the rooms where super dirty I was afraid to have my feet touch the floor. The walls where super dirty I saw a review saying they had bug beds after reading that I was so worried that it I did check non stop to see if there was any I personally didn't find anything or have signs that there was anything. The beds looked really gross when I was looking. The pillows where super small they didn't have extras and when I asked for more towels they had to check to see if they had any extras. The breakfast bar sucked there's was two different bagels and two little containers with two different types of cereal in it and yogurt and that was it there was a sing saying if u took more then one bagel they will ask u to check out and to leave "witch I'm like so o can't make my child a bagel not in less she's there? " and honestly I woke up before my child does to wake her up with food. Never going here again I never felt the need to clean a hotel room so bad I was afraid to touch anything!!! Or have my kids touch anything!!!
