reserved a king and initially given a full then moved to a double queen. frindly enough in the beginning but later encounters like asking for toilet paper and reporting that the tv did not work were met with a rather negative attitude but did get the help I asked for. room was a bit shabby and after using the shower it continued to leak reported it at ck out as shower was at 9 pm. the front door to the office is kept locked and after ck in all conversation was at the window. very small parking lot and surrounding area looks somewhat blighted.

There was no smoke alarm in the room. It smelled like a smoking room and it was labled non smoking. There was a dirty wash cloth in the shower. The bathroom fixtures were falling off and the clientele made it uncomfortable to sleep knowing my vehicle was outside.

Jay at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The room was clean, the parking lot well lit with an open space . The location is easy to access from the highway. Easy, comfortable stop for the night.

Checked in late, looked like suspicious activity taking place outside of rooms. Front desk talked through thick glass window. No dead bolt lock on door (broke off) door between rooms was screwed shut to the wall. Didn’t stay, left and found another spot do not recommend. Save your self the hassle

The room was alright but there were some issues. Shower handles were falling off the wall, bed sheets had marker all over them, TV was a hassle to use, bathroom was very dim due to more than half of the lights not working. The beds were very uncomfortable and parking was very limited and if your not careful you are liable to scratch your car when you come or go from property

Everywhere smelled of cigarettes inside and outside. Beds were rock hard. Very limited parking with tight spaces, literally attacked by locusts and praying mantis every time I stepped out of my room. People outside smoking and dogs barking till all hours of the night/morning. Stand up shower only and super tiny maybe 2ft by 2ft if that with the faucet separated from the wall and practically falling off. Spent all night worrying if my car was going to get broke into or catalytic converter stolen. Just a big never again.

No wifi, rooms were clean but the shower was coming apart, lights were missing so it was very dim, beds were uncomfortable, good luck trying to park here and there were very few options for plugs if you need to charge something.

Affordable, clean, and comfortable! Honestly, I was nervous ahead of time based on reviews I had read from past guests, but I think they’ve listened to the complaints and started making improvements. It has a fence in the back of the property, and working cameras. I also felt extra safe when my request to move from lower level to the second floor was graciously accepted by the lady in the front desk No surprise fee or charges after, they were patient when I needed a little extra time before checkout. Checkout the food stands near by during your stay!

There was no ice in the ice machine, the water was luke warm, the shower door would not close and the shower dripped all night. The staff appear fearful and the towels were old and scratchy. Probably never stay there again.

Foul smelling room. Stains and holes throught both beds. The box springs were broken and showing bare springs. Mosquitoe infestation in the room AND bed bugs!!! Got bit up all over. TV didnt work. The second bed was in another room that was hot and stuff and uncomfortable. So had to use one bed anyway!! This shouldnt even be on ur listings as a place to stay at because it is that run down and disgusting and should be condemned.

My car broke down close to red bluff and this was the closest to the repair shop. BAD CHOICE. I knew when the tow truck driver told me to be careful I should of just run away. After the twitching receptionist took my information I walked to the room. Upon entering and acclimating to the smell of cigarettes and mold in my room I did the unthinkable.....I lifted up the four layers of fitted sheets to reveal THE most disgusting mattress that I have ever seen. It was 1 in the morning so I sat in the chair and caught a few Zs.

The tv didn't work with the remote that was in the room. Tried to use device (dish tv) manually, but it wouldn't even turn on. We only got the tv to turn on, but no channels worked. Bed was ok. Room was clean. For the price, it was decent. You get what you pay for.

Didn’t have reservation on file…their explanation was that they are under new management and didn’t have access to Hotels.com. Even though the hotel did provide us a room..we didn’t stay as the hotel room door barely shut. Very unsafe in my opinion.

Our initial attempt to turn on the A/C in the room was unsuccessful, as it appeared that there was no power. After a trip downstairs and walk to the office, we were informed that it was controlled by a wall switch instead of being “hard wired” directly to power. Had we been alerted upon checking in that we needed to switch power to the A/C before turning the unit controls to adjust temperature when it was 90 degrees inside, it would have avoided considerable frustration and effort for an 81 year old guest and wife given a room on the second floor.

First off the guy at tge front desk was rude. He couldnt give me a room key for 2 hours. The room was cockroach infested. Nasty. I call to cancel the next 4 days and the man hung up on me. This place is disgusting stay away. They should be called the roach motel

Very nice people stayed for over 2 weeks, clean property they are currently doing renovations to make the place look nicer and more functional, and are doing an amazing job. Front desk worker has good customer service and handles any issues swiftly. Would recommend staying here to friends and family.

You get what you pay for and this was certainly the case. The room was generally clean. The linen was clean and the bed was comfortable. Inadequate amount of power points. Area was a bit of a concern.

Jay at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The room was clean, the parking lot well lit with an open space . The location is easy to access from the highway. Easy, comfortable stop for the night.

The lobby and property were filthy. Staff was rude. Another customer complained of no hot water. We did not complete check in and left. The area/neighborhood was deplorable.

There is an undesirable clientele and unsafe area. In my case, there were cigarette burn holes in the comforter along with exposed wiring hanging out of the walls. I was only there long enough to partially temporarily place some of my belongings in the room to go to dinner. Upon my arrival back, I put them back in the car an checked out. Expedia contacted the property, who attempted to charge me full price. Expedia got my card charged back minus one night. The next day, the property changed information on receipt, then recharged my account for the full reservation amount again with inaccurate information. The charge went through. I ended up canceling my card, then contacted the Red Bluff PD, and filed an credit card fraud case against the property.

The reception person was very good. Our experience was that this was a \'more- well-kept\' vintage motel; clean and comfy, with air conditioning. We had a lovely breakfast at the "Sugar Shack Cafe." I would go here again. :)

Affordable, clean, and comfortable! Honestly, I was nervous ahead of time based on reviews I had read from past guests, but I think they’ve listened to the complaints and started making improvements. It has a fence in the back of the property, and working cameras. I also felt extra safe when my request to move from lower level to the second floor was graciously accepted by the lady in the front desk No surprise fee or charges after, they were patient when I needed a little extra time before checkout. Checkout the food stands near by during your stay!

Let’s see this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Blood in shower. Shower handle coming off the wall so I didn’t shower. Fleas in room biting me. Cigarette burns in furniture. No closet hangers. Smelled like mold and you could hear mice or rats in the walls.

Friendly staff, simple, clean room, check-in was easy. No breakfast/coffee, but still great value for a nice room in a convenient location for under $50/night.

This Hotel was an absolute nightmare. Their was other people's things all over the bathroom including razors, the fridge was filthy and moldy, and there was drug paraphernalia on the floor along with Narcan nasal spray which yused for drug overdose. When I talked with management they laughed and said the room was clean. I would absolutely never recommend this Hotel to anyone.
