property is OK but don’t count on the shuttle. It only takes you to the airport does not pick you up until after 3 PM.

Plenty parking clean well lit rooms with carpet. Laundry& garage parking.

Had covered parking and was very easy to access small businesses located walking distance to downtown. Laundry wasn’t functional when there but that is not a big deal.

It was an odd hotel - some aspects were great - our guest room was large and comfortable, and there were unusual upstairs common rooms that were light and inviting. However, the fitness room was dark and messy, the entire layout was hard to understand, we asked to check in early, and they said our room was ready, but we would have to pay $30 to get in early. So we sat in the obby for an hour and then they waived the fee. The coffee machine was turned off at noon promptly, presumably to save money. The bathroom light in the guest room was on a timer, and left you in the dark after 15 minutes or so. I have never seen this in a hotel guest room before... The airport shuttle was perfect, just as they said it would be. Since that was the reason we chose the hotel - a kind-of-affordable place that would get us to a very early flight, we got what we paid for. Area prices for airport hotels are now over $1500 a night for a normal room, so we were looking for something less than that.

Room was not completely cleaned. Tub had hair in it and counter was not cleaned. Finger prints and glass marks in surfaces. Bed was comfy and a/c did the job. The property needs updating in the rooms and patch jobs are evident. Caulking was mildewed and a/c unit needed a cleaning.

This small and cute boutique hotel is no-frills in terms of amenities, but has maximum bang for your buck. Very clean, quiet, and well cared for with everything you need in the cute room. There are some really pretty atriums/ courtyards. The airport shuttle was a big plus. We will definitely stay here again when we fly out of SFO.

We arrived later and we got a room. The bed is okay. The room appears nice, but only half the lights worked. The tub still had male hairs in the tub from the previous guest. We stayed on the 2nd floor, the bathroom floor sagged and the tiles shifted around on the floor. 😳 My husband noticed dried blood on the side of the bed which was not from us. That was quite alarming. We would have opted to change rooms, but it was 11pm at night and needed sleep for our flight. We did have a quiet room. The only perk for us was the shuttle to the airport and we were able to long term stay our car. The staff wasn't overly friendly or welcoming. It is a decent place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. There is absolutely no frills.

My sheets and blankets were dirty when we arrived to our room. Had to use my cell phone to call front desk because room phone was broken. When house keeper changed the blanket that too had stains on it. Ended up using our own blankets we traveled with. The next day I saw the housekeeper and asked for 2 face towels and she got upset and had an attitude (lady with blonde hair) wouldn’t return or recommend.

The room was great - wonderful, comfy beds. My picky issues were the coffee pot - poured water in, water poured out the bottom. The hair dryer kept blowing the GFI and wouldn’t work. I was taking a shower and thought a big caterpillar fell in the tub - looked up, and it was dust from the vent above that had obviously not been cleaned…ever…there was at least 1/4 inch of dust built up on it. And the brand of shampoo and moisturizer was awful. The little things, you know?

Before booking, it mentioned breakfast included. Upon arrival, there was no breakfast ! Staff was very rude and impatient. Room was very dirty. I had to clean for an hour before using bathroom!

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The AC unit was extremely loud at night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I also requested a wake-up call that never came, which was very disappointing. On top of that, the bathtub was broken, adding to the overall poor experience. Not a restful or reliable stay.

Rooms were new and clean with everything you needed including phone chargers. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Parking was onsite. There were two large common areas to meet with others in our group. Best of all, just one block off the busy main road were about 4-5 walkable blocks of shops and restaurants. Also, only about a seven minute drive to rental car lot and airport.

There were a few random, broken things in our room like the toilet paper holder and towel holder and the noise from the street was VERY loud, but overall, the room was clean and the hotel overall had a really cool vibe! Good parking. No breakfast. Hot chocolate was out on their coffee machine in lobby.

Hotel Aluxor is conveniently located hear SFO. The rooms are brand new, clean and spacious. The bathrooms are also new and spacious. Staff are knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Free airport shuttle is a BIG PLUS! Parking and Self-laundry are available. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there are so many choices within walking distance. One of the best Korean meals in town called TOFU is 10 minutes away. I highly recommend the Aluxor.

The hotel staff did a nice job taking care of us. The one thing that I would correct is the room lighting. None of the lighting in the room, with the exception of the cling entry light was adequate. In the main portion of the room, it was very dimly lighted.

Basic, clean place to stay near SFO. There was air traffic noise, as expected, but the walls were thin - could hear neighbors and people walking above us.

Accommodations were fine. But I really needed good WiFi to be able to work while I was there. I was in Room 263 and the WiFi was non-existent! Maybe it was just proximity, but I could not use the internet at all. It was beyond slow! I was not able to get my (very urgent) work done.

Our room windows? We couldn't close it. Room noisy and cold.

I’m going to think twice before I consider coming back to this place. Staff and service were very poor. Walking distance to eateries was great. Good food in Downtown San Bruno.

Hotel check in had me waiting forever, rude

We waited for the shuttle for an hour at the airport and it never showed. I called the hotel multiple times and they said 5-10 minutes, so we waited. After waiting for an hour we had to take an uber and pay $25. Shuttle from airport is not reliable. Staff is okay, but didn’t really give us an answer and didn’t really know what they were doing. Place is small and not overly clean.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean. Will be staying again, as it is a good price for a clean and nice room. Good value.

It's a shame I liked the room (even with no hot water) and property, but the staff had no customer service skills. Unhelpful, rude, no communication with each other so we were told different things. They offered airport transfers which is why we booked, we called when we arrived and was told we had to wait 40 minutes at 9pm in the cold. When we wanted to leave was told to book a seat by one staff member, and then the next morning was told by a different one we didn't need to book just needed to be there and they'll call them up whenever. Well okay. So we came when we wanted to leave and was told it would be another 30 minutes. Felt ridiculous. We were considering booking a second night so asked the front desk, they gave a price that was more expensive than online and we asked and they said well book online then?? We were also told our room wasn't available so we had to book another room and we wouldn't be able to get in until 2pm anyway but it was the same room type so didn't make sense. I know it was our fault for not booking ahead of time but the lack of help and empathy really sucked. Will not return unfortunately.

The staff was nice. They charge a $10 early check in fee which I've never heard of. I've stayed in many places and this was a first. Also, we called for more towels and never got them. The room was clean and nice.

Flight got cancelled with Air Canada had to spend a night in San Francisco picked this hotel because it had a shuttle service. Each of us had 2 suitcases due to us travelling internationally. I booked a shuttle for the next morning at 4:10 am and mentioned that we had 2 suitcases each. The guy at the front tells me the shuttle won’t take more than 1 bag. I literally told him I had read their website and booked the hotel because they offer shuttle service and nowhere does it mention a bag limit. I also said why would the shuttle bring us here with 2 suitcases but not back to the airport with 2 suitcases? Next morning come downstairs to find a handmade sign where there was not one the previous day stating that the shuttle only takes 1 bag tucked into the shuttle times. Shuttle was a little late but when it came it was packed to the brim ppl were standing in it because there were no seats or room. The hotel agent yelled at the driver to stop over seating and to get another shuttle when he is getting full. The driver then got out went into the hotel and yelled at the agent. We had to catch a really early flight so I started looking for an uber. The hotel agent did pull through though and ordered a taxi when he realized the shuttle was full. I’m not sure why it was so full as you literally have to book your time on it. Once we got the the airport the taxi was trying to get us to pay even though the hotel already paid for it. Super sketchy. I would say stay somewhere else.

Great location for SFO

This place was loud and in a not so nice area. People in the room below us were blaring music and the staff didn’t care. It was hard to sleep.

Employees were very helpful, kind and easy to talk to. Location is perfect for me coz it’s surrounded by different kinds of restaurants and stores and mini markets. Shopping mall is just 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus, They provide a free shuttle bus to the airport. They have a place to store your luggages if you’re too early and if your flight is really late at night, you can also leave your luggages after you check out. I definitely will come back here in the future and will be recommended to my friends and families. Pricing is reasonable coz rooms are big, beds are comfortable, you have everything you need inside the room like fridge, microwave, etc. it was a nice stay. Thank you.

They put me in a room far from the front desk. The hallway was dark and scary near my room. If you get a room in the open atrium it would be better. I wouldn’t venture out at night on foot:

No restaurant within the hotel

The room is clean, and the scheduled shuttle is convenient. Additionally, it is situated in a great location, with many restaurants, mostly Asian, within walking distance from the hotel.

Unlike the advertising, there is no restaurant. No continental breakfast, nada. Only one person on staff, so when we arrived, there were several guests waiting in the lobby to register while the manager was elsewhere.

It is obvious why this hotel is no longer linked to Ramada. NO BREAKFAST. Bottled water and snacks are offered at cut throat prices CASH ONLY. I would never book this hotel again

The lobby was barren except for a limited coffee and tea service. There was an area next to the lobby with a lot of bare shelves with a few food items. There was a giant refrigeration unit with just sodas in it. I had hoped to buy something to eat or drink for dinner but no luck. The guy at the front desk-very minimal interaction. Then I got on the elevator which is halfway in the parking garage. I got out on my floor-completely different hotel! Clean, white with plants. My room was lovely-very clean, freshly painted, nice big TV, very comfortable bed. Such a strange place. I would probably stay here again but just plan ahead to bring food since the area is kinda sketch.

It's newly renovated. Staff are nice. If you're ok with hearing the airplanes. It's the convenience of being close to the airport. The shuttle is great for morning drop off. Evening pick up if you're arriving before 11:00. Breakfast is not available at the hotel. But there are many selections nearby.

Paid $40 to check in early. Got to the room and it wasn’t ready. So we had to wait 15-20 mins. Spacious,nice room but it smelled so bad in there and the hallway that I went to Target for room freshner. Other than that parking was plentiful, lots of convenient food places nearby and free hot chocolate or coffee downstairs daily. The desk attendants are competent and nice enough. And the city was really convenient for us. Excellent no frills place for the price.
