Though the building is older, the room was super clean and comfortable, the pool was immaculate and perfect temperature, the place is charming, quiet and convenient. Alejandro was very polite, welcoming and extremely helpful and patient when we had trouble with our window shade.

The Inn was a really lovely place to stay, just a few miles south of downtown Santa Barbara. We were just there for the night but I wished we’d had more time to enjoy the amenities, including the pool and rental bikes. The room itself was clean, cheery, and private, tucked into the back of the property facing the mountains. The bed was super comfortable. We also enjoyed an easy walk to Butterfly Beach, just about 10 minutes from the hotel. So pleased we found this place! The staff is also excellent: I left behind a pillow that I like to travel with. I figured it was gone and failed to call for a few days. But when I did the staff kindly located it and offered to mail it back to me just for the cost of shipping. I was really impressed all around and recommend the Inn highly.

Perfect location and priced nicely for what it is. Small and simple rooms with $10 parking for overnight. Nice little pool area and very friendly office staff. Easy and affordable stay in a area perfect for walking and offers free bicycle rentals from the hotel.

We have stayed here twice and always enjoy our stay. Rent the bikes, ride along the coast! It’s the perfect location with restaurants and shopping at your fingertips. I would say my only complaint is just that the beds are incredibly firm and the pillows will leave your neck a bit sore for a few days afterwards, but that could just be my personal preference at play here. We do enjoy our stay and hopefully next year we will make it back!

I traveled alone and my room was small; the bathroom even smaller. But I don’t think my room was indicative of what others will get. So for good things…. Super clean. Room has a fridge and microwave and desk to eat at. WiFi was decent. You can walk to a small beach in 10 minutes and to shops and restaurants even closer. Being an older property, I was expecting thin walls but seemed very quiet to me. Pool is outdoors, heated but small. Overall it’s expensive (I had probably their smallest room, not peak season and it was $245/night after taxes.) But all of Santa Barbara is ridiculously expensive so maybe don’t hold that against them. Given the location, it is probably decent value.

They have bikes for guests to use, we biked down to the harbour. Had a lovely swim in the heated pool. The property is older but really well maintained.

The hotel is in an excellent area with several restaurants. Although it doesn’t offer breakfast, there are plenty of options on the hotel’s street. The room is very good, and the heater is very quiet. The staff was super friendly. Parking costs $10, which is much more affordable than in LA or San Diego.

Nice place clean. Lots of stairs so not good for mobility issues. Noise from train is loud, they give you earplugs so they are aware. Good location as far as access to restaurant s and beach was close by.

The location is fabulous, and the beds are very comfortable, however the rooms and bathrooms are dilapidated and smell. The windows don't open or close easily. It is an old structure that is too new to be quaint and too old to be functionally comfortable. I had a slug in my first room and it smelled like a sewer, so I asked for a switch. The second room still had a strong musty smell but better.

Our bed was great! The hotel outside was very nice. Worn and dirty carpet, broken shades! The shades are broken on the two bedroom windows. So the bedroom was dark and had no outside light. If our stay had been for more than one night I would have ask ed to move rooms. Furniture was old and worn as well.

We really appreciated how kind the service people were. The room was very clean. The bathroom needs a fan and the shower needs to be redone. It was small and water flow was so low. The curtains were hard to open and shut. The bed was super comfortable and the blankets were great! Overall a really good experience.

I loved the room but didn't like that the carpets hadn't fully dried from being cleaned and the room had a musty smell. A few clothing items fell on the floor over night. In the morning they were stained front the carpet dew. Other than that we were pleased with our stay.

We had a really nice stay here. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. It is not a modern accommodation but the rooms are well kept, and the location is very convenient. There are some room options here that suit small families, which is very nice. It is very close to the zoo and State St. There was one young lady working the front desk during our stay, who was very helpful to heat food in the microwave for us and provide extra plates and napkins. We swam in the pool with our toddler in the late afternoon and the pool was very clean. Young kids do need to take caution when the pool area is wet. Overall we’d definitely stay here again in the future.

The room was comfortable except for that the bathroom was tiny! It was hard to use the restroom without having to shift one’s body to the side to avoid hitting my head on the wall. Also didn’t like the shower head. It’s too high, very low pressure water and very basic, with no adjustments at all. I did love the way the room smelled and the overall maintenance of the facility, as well as the location. The close proximity of the passing train might be considered a bit of a problem but it wasn’t as important as the other stuff mentioned. Overall, I would recommend it.

Clean, basic accomodations in Montecito. The road it is on is surprisingly busy at night, so not the quietest, but location makes up for it. Rooms are dated, but clean and functional. Bathroom is tiny with a pedestal sink, so it is difficult to put on makeup or share with a partner. Bed is comfortable. Great location close to many restaurants and boutiques.

Great location, simple, but good overall hotel. They also offer free bikes, with helmet and lock, which is very convenient to go to the local beaches. Staff is very friendly. Room was a little dark. No breakfast in the hotel, but there are plenty of options at walking distance.

Bed was very comfy but I didn’t like paying for parking if I’m already staying there so no free parking was a con but many pros overall. Love that check out is noon because you don’t feel rushed to leave although we checked out by 11:20am it’s nice not to feel rushed. Walking distance to most amenities.

This is a lovely, discreet hotel. Location is excellent and staff are welcoming and accommodating. I’ve stayed here before and will continue to do so as you get your money’s worth.

This is a lovely, discreet hotel. Location is excellent and staff are welcoming and accommodating. I’ve stayed here before and will continue to do so as you get your money’s worth.

The hotel is in an excellent area with several restaurants. Although it doesn’t offer breakfast, there are plenty of options on the hotel’s street. The room is very good, and the heater is very quiet. The staff was super friendly. Parking costs $10, which is much more affordable than in LA or San Diego.

An inn that is very convenient for Montecito but needs money spending on it and updating for the price of the rooms they are charging. I stayed for a week and had problems from the first night - the motor from the ice machine kept coming on and off, the outside light was flickering and the main door and window didn’t close properly. I registered these with reception numerous times to no avail. I asked to move but they were full. Even on the last night I asked for more toilet paper as it had not been replaced and none could be found so I was given tissues. Yes it’s convenient but it is noisy, my problems weren’t addressed and if your room was on the first floor no lift - a nightmare with a heavy suitcase. Would I stay again - no I wouldn’t.

We had a really nice stay here. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. It is not a modern accommodation but the rooms are well kept, and the location is very convenient. There are some room options here that suit small families, which is very nice. It is very close to the zoo and State St. There was one young lady working the front desk during our stay, who was very helpful to heat food in the microwave for us and provide extra plates and napkins. We swam in the pool with our toddler in the late afternoon and the pool was very clean. Young kids do need to take caution when the pool area is wet. Overall we’d definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay for my husbands birthday! Very quick Uber ride to the Santa Barbara Bowl for a concert, and right across the street from great restaurants and cafes. Less than a half mile walk to a gorgeous beach!

Nice place clean. Lots of stairs so not good for mobility issues. Noise from train is loud, they give you earplugs so they are aware. Good location as far as access to restaurant s and beach was close by.

This hotel located in the heart of Montecito is very well situated for walking the town, eating, drinking, even visiting the beach. It is well-maintained, however, simply due to its age the accommodations can only be so good. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom, and despite the best effort to modernize and utilize the given space, there is an undeniable odor or mildew that lingers still on my clothing. The bed was very nice and the enlargened step-in shower very adequate, but the low toilet positioned so close to the wall it was difficult to maneuver. Nonethless, the greeting staff were kind and efficient. Bicycles are available on-property. The location superb and a great price for weekday stay during the summer.

Great location, simple, but good overall hotel. They also offer free bikes, with helmet and lock, which is very convenient to go to the local beaches. Staff is very friendly. Room was a little dark. No breakfast in the hotel, but there are plenty of options at walking distance.

It’s clear that this property is old. It’s quaint, but everything about it screams 1940s. From the parking spots to the toilet seats, everything is super small. The tiles were cracked in our bathroom, blinds were broken, and there’s so much paint on the door jams and window panes that it was sticky to the touch and opening and closing windows took some effort. The room is literally a bed and a bathroom, that’s it. Air-conditioning was OK, beds had dips and pillows were flat. Good options on the television. No charging stations of any kind, and the decor was a bit antiquated, but not in a quaint way. The town itself shuts down pretty early, so there’s very little to do. The property does have a pool, which looked clean.
