Stayed 3 nights

This was our second time staying here when visiting family out of state. We really liked it the first time and when we came back, wanted to stay here again. The property and rooms are very clean and comfortable. It’s easy to park and access your room due to multiple convenient entries that are accessible by room key for safety. The breakfast is kept stocked and delicious with lots of choices. The pool and hot tub are really nice and I like them being outdoors. Proximity to town and surrounding areas is a huge plus. Overall, great hotel to stay at!! One area I want to draw extra attention to was the amazing people who worked there! The house cleaners were really nice and helpful. One person in particular made this visit extra wonderful. Brian, who was working the front desk, really helped make the whole stay positive. We were out there for my grandmas funeral, which of course was a depressing reason to be there. He wasn’t aware of that, however he was kind and wonderful from the moment we checked in to the night before we left. He gave us extra pillows, suggested places to eat in the area, and helped us out in other ways. Every interaction with him was positive and that really helped the whole experience! Aside from us, I observed him being kind and respectful to others he helped. He was a genuine and caring person and we greatly appreciated him!

Loved the room and staff. I was uncertain about the extra charge of $20 for our prepaid room. Still not sure why the extra charge.

Shower head needed cleaning. Maybe add it to the daily list of items to clean. Checking in the only parking was on the second level which requires a key to enter. Had to send my son around the building so he could open the door (by the pool) where we were parked and where the luggage was. If my son hadn’t come to meet me I would have had to do that myself in the dark. Consider a remote switch for the front desk staff to utilize when guests need to enter through that door. Breakfast was nice and the pool area was nice. Appears they allow non guests to use the pool. I witnessed 5 or 6 young men enter the pool rearrange most of the furniture took all the lounge chairs and some of the regular chairs. Moved a table and umbrella so it shaded the hot tub. When they left they left all the furniture where they used it. Any guest of the hotel that came in after that had to get a lounge or chair and carry to where it belonged.

The Fairfield was top of the line across the board. the facilities are well maintained and the rooms are up to date. The entire place is clean and taken care of...the pool was very nice and convenient. The breakfast was excellent but get there ahead of the advertised close as supplies begin to dwindle.
