My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, the hotel looked cozy and nice from the booking info. It was absolutely a gem, easy walk to food, shopping, and the casinos, plenty of free parking, the rooms are spacious, and the bathroom was impressively large. The lobby is cozy and u can enjoy coffee or tea on couches by a nice fire. We enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi, we didn't try the adjacent restaurant but it looks nice. Nice hotel, give it a try!

Family members were visiting from out of town which included 2 children, a 7 year old and a 5 year old. It was important to the kids that we stay at a hotel with a pool so I chose this hotel mainly for that reason. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the entire duration of our stay. Upon check out, I mentioned our disappointment and the staff member offered us a 15% discount on the rooms to compensate us for not having the pool available. She said that she would give us a 15% discount on the rooms and credit our credit cards. Over the next few days, I looked out for the credit but it never came through. I called the hotel a few days after we checked out and mentioned that we had not received the refund yet and the staff member said that the manager would call us back. We never received a call back so I tried calling again and again and kept on getting the same answer, that the manager would call back. I called at least 5 times and no one ever returned my call nor did we ever receive a credit. This hotel is dishonest and a shady operation because multiple employees lied to us. I can understand that the pool may have issues and may not be available under unforeseen circumstances. What I cannot tolerate, is dishonesty and being lied to. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

Very comfortable room and bed. The pool is nice and there are fire pits. One day there was yoga in the lobby area. The WiFi was great. I hosted a zoom conference without issue. Everything is walkable from here. There's a great private beach about 5 minutes walking and the hotel can give you a voucher. There's a nice restaurant connected. Great little coffee spot 3 blocks over in the lobby of the Coachman.

Decent hotel with cute, updated rooms. Easy walk to the outdoor concert, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast consisted of coffee and oatmeal packets. The pool was out of service due to “the season” (front desk gal was all business, so I did not ask if that meant the pool is available during the winter months and patrons use the lake during the summer months (?)). Beach pass was $15, vs the usual $30 - free if you’re there before 9am. I would stay here again, knowing it’s just a clean place to sleep and shower.

The room was great. Comfy bed and very quiet in the back rooms. It had everything we needed and we took advantage of the walkable location to restaurants, shops and the beach. Nice walk to concerts at Ceasar’s also. Pool, hot tub and dog friendly.

My reason for booking this hotel was free breakfast was included which that was not the case. It wasn't even a continental breakfast. There food options were cereal, yogurt, and bars. The front desk gal was rude no people skills. They could have at least given us free beach passes (which we were told they gave out) for our stay in the small room. Pool needed some attention had algae.

Our stay was excellent! The Station House gives you many lovely amenities. They really make your stay feel really special. There's a pool, hot tub and 3 fire pits! I will definitely go back!

Very friendly staff and walkable to all restaurants and ski gondola - top priority. Felt upscale but room a bit tight. Great bathroom. Nice locations- living room, 2 outdoor fire pits to relax. Only weakness - small, overcrowded hot tub for ski location and jets were small.

Great location and hotel. Easy to walk or get a scooter and go to stateline, heavenly or the beach. Property had a ton of amenities; pool, hot tub, cornhole, fire pits outdoor area to sit and an attached restaurant/bar.

The staff there is excellent. They were all nice and helpful and we appreciated the free drink and cocoa/tea bar at night after the concert we attended. The property is nice and we liked the lounge area. The room was clean, but I will say the shower needed attention with cleaning and there was a definite musty smell to the whole room. That and the fact that the AC kept blowing the blackout curtains apart were the only reason why I knocked a star off.

Wouldn't say the room was dirty, but it was incredibly dark, the carpet in the room was stained, and the bedspread had holes in it. Made it feel dingy. Otherwise it was fine. Fire pits and welcome drinks were a nice touch.

Liked the fire pits and s’mores….otherwise, there are so many issues. Rooms are so dark you could not see in your suitcase. My one bedside light was flickering, the sink did not drain and the safe did not work! The carpets had huge stains on them, the shower is poorly designed…had to get in And get wet to turn the shower on! When I checked out I gave feedback about things that needed fixing and the desk person did not even take notes! The food offered for breakfast was inconsistent and even non- existent! If you say you are offering yogurt and pastries and granola bars, have them out for people! A real lack of regard for the consumer in this case! We loved Lake Tahoe, your pace…..not so much!

The room was clean and the property safe. However, no one told me about the free coffee and breakfast so I didn't know about it until the second afternoon I was there. I also had no idea that there was no room cleaning for those staying three nights or less. I probably would not have stayed there had I known. It should be posted in each room or the employee at the front desk needs to do a better job telling guests these things. The TV in my room never worked right. I asked it to be fixed and even after that, it still didn't work right.

Very disappointed with our stay… online and social media make this place look amazing and it’s less than impressive in person. The staff was not helpful- if anything if they were at the front desk they seemed annoyed by questions… the lawn area is sad… the pool was okay. No room service or house keeping available. Our room was too dirty to make me feel comfortable- the stains in the carpet, the dust and stuff all over the floors… I have two small kids and didn’t want them touching anything. The one thing this place has going for it is the location… however the neighborhood surrounding it was sadly very crappy… the beach access was nice but we had to wait in line 45 mins to even be allowed on the beach… overall a disappointing trip to south lake.

The motel is very good at hiding its age, but some reminders peek though; the very thin walls allow you to hear quite a bit of your neighbors, the smaller dimensions, etc. However, this is probably one of the best values going. It is walking distance to most desirable attractions, parking is plentiful and there is a restaurant on site. Lest you forget you're in Tahoe: bears did come and vandalize the garbage cans, so make sure to take food items out of your car.

The 200 sqft Cozy King was suitable for my spouse, our toddler and I for a weekend trip to Tahoe. The room was tidy and equipped with the basics. Very conveniently walking distance to Heavenly village which had everything we needed to enjoy our trip; I.e. coffee, shoppes, and restaurants. We plan to stay again during the summer!

Family members were visiting from out of town which included 2 children, a 7 year old and a 5 year old. It was important to the kids that we stay at a hotel with a pool so I chose this hotel mainly for that reason. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the entire duration of our stay. Upon check out, I mentioned our disappointment and the staff member offered us a 15% discount on the rooms to compensate us for not having the pool available. She said that she would give us a 15% discount on the rooms and credit our credit cards. Over the next few days, I looked out for the credit but it never came through. I called the hotel a few days after we checked out and mentioned that we had not received the refund yet and the staff member said that the manager would call us back. We never received a call back so I tried calling again and again and kept on getting the same answer, that the manager would call back. I called at least 5 times and no one ever returned my call nor did we ever receive a credit. This hotel is dishonest and a shady operation because multiple employees lied to us. I can understand that the pool may have issues and may not be available under unforeseen circumstances. What I cannot tolerate, is dishonesty and being lied to. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here. The first 2 times we absolutely loved it, this third time was a struggle. Apparently they’re going thru ownership change and the service definitely showed. We were given the wrong room and walked in on other guest (oops). We then had to wait 20 min for one room to be done. The kids wanted to go swimming and there were no pool towels. It didn’t feel like a boutique hotel experience, it felt like they were short staffed and the staff that was there was doing their best to keep up. We won’t be staying here again.

The hotel stay was overall great, we enjoyed everything about the stay. The location was perfect. Only downfall was the customer service, the front desk was short and didn’t have clear answers when we asked questions. They seemed clueless and also tired. It was a busy week/weekend and a holiday but the customer service can use some improvement. We would be back and would interact less with the staff next time. The rooms were clean, smelled clean and had the basic amenities needed. They do give you a bottle of wine of your choice when you check in. Station House looked way better than all the other hotels around the area. The pool area could be alittle more clean but again, overall it was a great stay!

The fire alarm battery started dying and the fire alarm started beeping LOUDLY in the early hours of the morning. I didn’t want to get up to try to fix it (it was too high for me to reach) because I didn’t want to wake up my kids who seemed to be able to sleep through it. Unfortunately they had fitful sleep from it as well. I, however, had to drive 8 hours to our next destination and had to ingest a ton of caffeine to stay awake and alert after not sleeping. Told the front desk staff and she didn’t care- just thanked me for letting them know the fire alarm needed a new battery… Gee, glad I could help. The situation could easily have been avoided with regular maintenance if the alarms. Really annoyed to have paid what we did for the room for us all to have slept so poorly. The people on the room next door to us were also watching tv and it came right through the walls. Luckily they had turned it off by 11pm or it could have been a rough night due to that as well. Breakfast was also lacking with an unpopular oatmeal flavoring and little else. Overall, the room was fine. You can tell it is an old lodge that they’ve done a few renovations to to being it up to date a bit. I didn’t try out the hot tub as it always seemed to be in use but the property was clean enough and parking wasn’t bad. I don’t know that we’d stay here again.

Loved the location and were so grateful for an upgrade to a spacious king room. Stacy at the front desk was a gem! She was helpful, fun to chat with, and took great care of us. It was a wonderful home base for our stay in Tahoe.

Facility was wonderful. Room was great. But the receptionist Saturday and Sunday morning was very unpleasant and cold. Saturday when we went in for coffee and the breakfast they serve. I asked where they served the food because there wasn’t anything out. She looked at me like I was stupid and replied with “what food we don’t serve breakfast” so I had to ask again about the oatmeal and granola bars and muffins. Then she decided to look and see that everything was empty. But she was too busy on her phone to realize or be bothered to help a guest. And again Sunday morning I went in this time just for coffee and watched three or four more guests come and go and she never looked up from her phone to say hi or good morning or ask if a guest needed anything. If your gonna have that kind of attitude I don’t think guest services is the right job for you.

Check-in was fast, easy and staff was pleasant during our interactions. We were informed that daily housekeeping wasn't available, but if we needed anything to let them know. Parking log was clear during the day, but quickly filled up at night. At night, there are plenty of lights throughout the property. The fire pit area was nice and pool looked great. We didn't try the restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was small but decorated in nice earth tones.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, the hotel looked cozy and nice from the booking info. It was absolutely a gem, easy walk to food, shopping, and the casinos, plenty of free parking, the rooms are spacious, and the bathroom was impressively large. The lobby is cozy and u can enjoy coffee or tea on couches by a nice fire. We enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi, we didn't try the adjacent restaurant but it looks nice. Nice hotel, give it a try!

Very close to the lake and a short walk (5 mins) to the shops and restaurants in the main town area. Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Pool and sitting areas are good for relaxing. A great place to stay to explore the Lake Tahoe area.

My reason for booking this hotel was free breakfast was included which that was not the case. It wasn't even a continental breakfast. There food options were cereal, yogurt, and bars. The front desk gal was rude no people skills. They could have at least given us free beach passes (which we were told they gave out) for our stay in the small room. Pool needed some attention had algae.

For the price, I would have expected a little more. Room was great, zero complaints there. Breakfast was pretty minimal and at one point I noticed the milk was expired and let the front desk person know. She seemed unconcerned and didn’t immediately pull it from the fridge. One staff member with glasses and longer curly hair was wonderful; very nice and helpful. The other front desk girl who was younger with straight dark hair probably shouldn’t be in customer service. Everything I asked seemed like an inconvenience and her answers were often short and borderline rude. Hot tub was small but at least it had one. Loved the movie night with popcorn and the bar/restaurant was nice.

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is very close to the lake and a walkable distance to Heavenly Village where there are shops and restaurants. The parking at the hotel is a little challenging; we were there during the week so we could get a spot, but I think it would be difficult on the weekends. I also wish they had breakfast, but they don’t. They do have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby daily and free beer/wine during happy hour.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean. Having a restaurant on site was very convenient and the meals were delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room. The bed was super comfy. Has a refrigerator but no microwave in room. The room was somewhat dark and could use one more lamp. They have complimentary cocktail hour - wine and beer, coffee, tea, instant oatmeal, prepackaged muffins and granola bars in the morning. There are games both indoor and outdoor to play. I was bummed because the hot tub was broken. The grounds on the property was fair - had equipment laying around - pipes, some broken concrete. Great restaurant on property.
