Very nice property. Great security. Pool was not working and the staff was indifferent about any compensation for this like points, fee parking or a meal. I was surprised by the required parking fee. I didn't recall seeing that anywhere.

The hotel was newly renovated and looked nice, the pool was small and dirty and you had to pay for parking which we didn’t know till we got there

Pool was freezing. Check in they didnt explain things. Parking was nuts. Make sure you bring earplugs the rooms are small and the air-conditioning was LOAD. Traffic outside was load. It was either way cold or way hot.

Check in was late, rooms were not ready; then check-out was enforced. Stains all in the carpets. Water wasn't work - no ice machines, jets broken in the whirlpool near the pool. Other messages sent in advance about check-in requirements but no heads up on these things impacting all guests. Overall, not great.

Very warm in common areas altho room was cool. Parking? Kind of sketchy. Very nice checkin staff. Room Was clean and sufficient for what we needed. Worst part was only 2 working elevators so often a long....wait.

We liked having an outdoor pool, unheated and in some disrepair. The exercise equipment was good, no air conditioning however. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, and needing a key card to stop on another floor made getting ice a challenge. The carpet in front of our frig was very stained and looked dirty, not very appealing. The on site restraunt was ok. You need to use a credit card to purchase snacks/pop so be ready for that. It is close to shopping and sights and easy to get around town.

I was worried about reviews but was really blown away once we arrived. Room was so clean and comfortable! Every room has a balcony view. You can avoid daily 15$ parking by parking outside of the hotel gate- not far at all. Staff was SO helpful with my many questions >_< lovely pool and gym. Wouldnt recommend breakfast, it was a lot of money for what would normally be free at other hotels. Odd. Otherwise this place was wonderful.

When you first walk in, the hotel is amazing. Front desk staff was nice and efficient. $15/night for parking seems a bit excessive. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was warm at best, like a bath. The room was decent, beds were comfortable enough. The thermostat on the wall never went below 72 despite having it set to 65. Wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom and the water pressure left a lot to be desired. Breakfast price was steep for a buffet, but kids eat free so that was a huge plus. It’s not a bad hotel, it does feel old though. Get the job done for our trip so I can’t complain!

The lobby and restaurant smelled like sewage and I was disgusted by this hotel. The shower wasn't clean and the drain was clogged. I didn't notice the shower was dirty until I stepped in and I could feel the dirty, sandy, gritty, disgusting tub. I brought it to the attention of one of the employees when checking out and he didn't seem to care. Please look elsewhere for your stay in Denver. It's very disappointing that I see reviews from 3 weeks ago with the same problems I experienced. I'm only giving a 1 star so I can warn others to look elsewhere.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Denver East. One of the things I appreciated most was the secured parking garage—it added a strong sense of safety. Access to guest floors required a key fob through the elevator, which I found to be an excellent security feature. The room itself was very clean and well-stocked with amenities such as lotion, body shampoo, and a hair dryer. The on-site restaurant was a nice bonus, offering convenience and quality. Expedia tells you breakfast is free at Holiday Inn, and then you find out that it's ten dollars and the Holiday Inn clerk says, "We called Expedia and told them to take this off their website, but they haven't done it yet." This is false advertising that is, of course, gainful to both Holiday Inn and Expedia, but the customer is expected to pay and bear the brunt of their false advertising. No apology nor recompense was offered to me. Carpets in the room are dirty and need shampooed.

The hotel smelled like sewage. We checked in, stayed 30 minutes and left and stayed elsewhere. The room was shabby . The surrounding area was run down. Surprise fee to pay to park. Staff was very friendly but I would not recommend this hotel or come back ever again.

Overall stay was ok. I would stay again if I had to. The noise on the north side of the hotel as bad. It must be near a fires station as I heard multiple sirens during the night and cars revving their engines at 2:30 in the morning. Our mattress had a sink hole on my side of the bed. Other than those two issues not too bad.

Hotel was great the area it was in wasn’t bad the hotel felt safe the staff where amazing the rooms were a little small and outdated and new linens didn’t seems fully clean when we checked in cause there was a food stain on one comforter in the room but overall amazing

The hotel is on a very busy street so those rooms facing are very noisy through the night. The clerks were helpful on moving me to a quieter room on the opposite side. Hotel is conveniently located for what we were doing. It struck me as a tired building. Older decor, appliances, etc.

Upon arrival, I was informed that I would have to pay $15 a night for parking which was a downfall. Also, breakfast is not free. The bed was rock hard and there was a really loud noise every 10 to 15 minutes and we could not figure out what it was But it went off all night long. Rooms are very small. But the staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is really nice but would probably not stay here again. also, our room was facing a very busy road and you could hear the traffic all day and night.

While the property shows it's age, the renovations along the way have been decent. The room style and appearance was clearly updated in the last 5 years. However the condition of that update was not ideal. One corner of they had almost 3 feet of wallpaper peeling and buckling off the wall. The chair at the desk had a cigarette burn in it. The bathroom had very little water pressure and took a skill to flush the toilet and to rinse clean in the show. I was unable to adjust and control the constant-running AC, but luckily I prefer a cold room. Bed was comfortable. Views were nice. And the additional was furniture (chair, ottoman with side table, desk and chair, mini fridge) were great for getting work done from the room. Front desk staff was only mediocre. Barely acknowledged me when I approached. I asked specifically to have housekeeping visit while I was out the 3rd day (I had NOT received daily service). Front desk confirmed they would, but I returned to an untouched, dirty room. Final bit. I don't mind paying for parking, as it was only $15 for 4 nights. However, I was only able to park in the lot 1 of my 4 nights. Every other night I circled and all spots were full, leaving me to park on the street outside the fence. I asked to have that charge removed, but it seems it was only reduced by $5. All of this said, I would actually stay again. Location for my need in Denver is perfect, with easy access to the I70

While the property shows it's age, the renovations along the way have been decent. The room style and appearance was clearly updated in the last 5 years. However the condition of that update was not ideal. One corner of they had almost 3 feet of wallpaper peeling and buckling off the wall. The chair at the desk had a cigarette burn in it. The bathroom had very little water pressure and took a skill to flush the toilet and to rinse clean in the show. I was unable to adjust and control the constant-running AC, but luckily I prefer a cold room. Bed was comfortable. Views were nice. And the additional was furniture (chair, ottoman with side table, desk and chair, mini fridge) were great for getting work done from the room. Front desk staff was only mediocre. Barely acknowledged me when I approached. I asked specifically to have housekeeping visit while I was out the 3rd day (I had NOT received daily service). Front desk confirmed they would, but I returned to an untouched, dirty room. Final bit. I don't mind paying for parking, as it was only $15 for 4 nights. However, I was only able to park in the lot 1 of my 4 nights. Every other night I circled and all spots were full, leaving me to park on the street outside the fence. I asked to have that charge removed, but it seems it was only reduced by $5. All of this said, I would actually stay again. Location for my need in Denver is perfect, with easy access to the I70

The customer service at this hotel is A1. After a stressful morning Lorena was kind, patient, and understanding. And made my check in easy and quick. The staff paved the way for a fun stressfree vacation.I try to come to Colorado every 3 months because I just love the scenery and most of my fave artists/bands play here. Will def be coming back!

The check-in was late by 40 mins and no apologies or any perks offered.The A/C is not working and after complaining multiple times in 2 days , even after DND Board was put the housekeeping knocked the door 3 times in the morning, did not have sleep at all because of the A/C.

I was worried about reviews but was really blown away once we arrived. Room was so clean and comfortable! Every room has a balcony view. You can avoid daily 15$ parking by parking outside of the hotel gate- not far at all. Staff was SO helpful with my many questions >_< lovely pool and gym. Wouldnt recommend breakfast, it was a lot of money for what would normally be free at other hotels. Odd. Otherwise this place was wonderful.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location, not far from the airport or downtown and it’s easy to get to Mount Blue Sky. Most importantly the staff all over the hotel is very kind, friendly, courteous, hard working and professional. The only hiccup was Tuesday morning at 7:00 am. That is the time they cleaned out the grease from the kitchen, using these big trucks that are very noisy and put out a very gross sewage smell. This is not something one wants to experience at 7 am.

It took 30 mins to check in. There was one person at the desk who went to get a manger and they worked together the whole time. Then another lady was at the second computer ignoring everyone. They finally went and got another person and it took him 10 mins to log in. Instead of offering a comp or something he asked if we wanted to buy our breakfast buffet for both days, we only ate it one day, and was not a fan. Oh and they charge for parking. So every up charge you can think of. The room was ok they redid the furniture and left the ancient paint. The ceiling was a weird yellow color, and the balcony had no furniture. I would stay again if it was the only choice, but there are much better places for this price without all the add ons.

We left some hanging clothes in the closet. We realize this when we got home. There were people in our party, still at the hotel and the staff would not accommodate the other people in our party to bring our clothes back. They also refused to answer the phone for three days in a row. It is a nice facility, but the customer service is horrible and the staff are unfriendly.

Everything was amazing except for one thing and that was the staff at the onsite restaurant did not provide good service. Please note that centiment was shared by many guest as we all had terrible service. The service was a little better at dinner but the breakfast service was bad both times we ate there. Other then that the staff was amazing and very accommodating. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

The hotel was fine. The beer machine in the lobby looked like fun but was always broken. Our first room smelled badly of cigarette smoke but they moved us. The TV was not smart and was awful to use and the WiFi was unusable. They did give us a late checkout which was nice. The restaurant breakfast looked like a continental breakfast and was $15 each which I thought was ridiculous. Otherwise it was good enough.

It was filthy. I paid for 2 breakfast @ 17.00 each. It said you had a restaurant that we would be dining in fir breakfast. In reality it was a continental breakfast at best. For 17.00 i was expecting a descent breakfast, not fake eggs. Very disappointed.

This is not a comfortable hotel to stay at. Design of the building is inconvenient. Most Holiday Inns include free breakfast. This one you have to pay15$ for the same thing they serve on the continental breakfast that are free.

When you first walk in, the hotel is amazing. Front desk staff was nice and efficient. $15/night for parking seems a bit excessive. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was warm at best, like a bath. The room was decent, beds were comfortable enough. The thermostat on the wall never went below 72 despite having it set to 65. Wallpaper was coming off in the bathroom and the water pressure left a lot to be desired. Breakfast price was steep for a buffet, but kids eat free so that was a huge plus. It’s not a bad hotel, it does feel old though. Get the job done for our trip so I can’t complain!

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Our room key kept resetting every time we left the room which made it an inconvenience to keep having to go from the 7th floor to the lobby. Other than that minor issue, everything else was exceptional.

The other guests were very loud at night in the common areas (well past the bars closing time). One night at 3am someone was outside our door yelling at someone else. When we got there our overhead light was burnt out (not a big deal, maintenance came right away and fixed it). The location was close to several stores and restaurants but not in the best neighborhood. Pictures definitely made the hotel appear a lot nicer than it really is. The restaurant food was less than good, and breakfast is not included as it says. Overall, it’s an okay hotel but would not stay again.
