Charming Woodland Lodge 2 person 1 bedroom

A very quiet and secluded lodge, equipped with everything you could need for a stay. It is a proper home from home. The owner, Juliet, met us on arrival and made sure everything was ok and even left us some welcome gifts. We only had a very brief 2-night stay but using this lodge as our base was perfect. I have only marked down the comfort by 1 star as the mattress was a little firmer than we like - but obviously this is just a personal preference and should not detract from the overall stay at the lodge. If we ever need to stay in the area again this would be high on our list of options.

Woodland Lodge is a beautiful secluded property that is well appointed. Filby is the most beautiful village adorned with floral arrangements. Amazing! So many attractions close by including the Broads, Caister and Gt Yarmouth. Host, Juliet, was excellent. Bread, cakes and milk provided for when we arrived and went the extra mile and more regarding some things we left behind. Could not be more satisfied. A delightful and charming accommodation resulting in a refreshing and relaxing holiday.

So cosy and well appointed. Juliet and David have done a wonderful job creating this little hideaway. Goodies on arrival very welcome and handy shop not far away. Everything is brand new . Your hosts are only too eager to help make your stay memorable. The village was awash with flowers for Filby in bloom.
