They have tried to update this motel and it’s not bad to stay in but the AC are old units and don’t work very good and are noisy. The lobby was a clustered with a bunch of band instruments and also a baby play pin that was dirty and full of spilt foods. The breakfast that they serve doesn’t start until 7 AM and that’s a little late for most of the work people or fishermen or hunters that use this motel. Parking is tough if you have trailers.

Very clean room, the front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe staying there and even was able to use their hot tub which was a fantastic surprise! Great place, will stay here again next time I’m in Gunnison

It was quiet. Parking spaces are huge. For an older hotel, it didn’t feel run down and had no funky odors. The staff were so nice!! Hot Breakfast every morning. Saw one member of the staff wipe everything down (counters, door handles) during breakfast. And the coffee is good, they grind it right there!

We actually loved our stay at Rodeway Inn. They were really busy both with changing out the furniture and a lot of customers. Everyone there that we met were wonderful! It was almost like being with family!! Everyone was so kind and caring!!! And the best part...they love pets!!! They have an amazing area for the dogs! Plus an amazing area for the pet parents. You can grill and picnic right there also. When we are through that area again we will differently stay with them again.

My buddy and I were looking for a budget stay for our climbing weekend. Rodeway knocked it out of the park in value. Beds were very comfortable, room and bathroom were clean, hot tub was in-service, breakfast was timely and hot, and staff was friendly and attentive!

This property is dated and in in bad need of some maintenance and up dates. Tv worked good but was limited on selection. They use a lot of extension cords. Tub had mold around the surround, it took 5 min before we could get hot water, but then it was ok. Their was a vehicle in the parking lot with a full, open pan of used oil next to it. Not what I want to have my car parked next to. chair set just out of the room with the sink and arms were filthy.

The couple at the desk were very friendly but a bit overwhelmed as they were filling in for the owner. We got to our room and after a few minutes to finally chill out we discovered bed bugs ... they were very apologetic and moved us to a new room. The new room had a middle door that didn't have much security because at 1:30am was woken by neighbor making noise and the light around the door. I didn't see bugs in the new room but was covered in bites the next day and I've been traumatized since then.

Minimum breakfast options, out of eggs- the one thing we were looking forward to. Dead bugs on the wall of the bathroom and sleeping area. The air conditioner/heat rattled and woke us up everytime it went on. It needed to be on as that night was a low of 25°. No options for more warmth, bedding was light for the fall temps. Minimal towels.

The room was very filthy. The sheets and bed cover were stained and looked dirty. Walls were dirty and looked like something had run down and hadn’t been cleaned. Stains on walls and doors. Mold was in the bathroom. The chair had stains all over it. We were afraid to touch anything and brought in our own pillow and blanket for the bed. If it hadn’t been so late we probably would have requested a different room.

Firstly, the front desk person/owner was amazing! Funny, welcoming, and responsive! For the room, the desk light was non-functional, and I booked a room that said it was 2 queen beds - they were actually full-sized beds which wasn\'t the best for my 6\'6" bf and me and our dogs. Front desk person said that he is in the process of replacing all lighting, so can\'t ding them for that. Low-flow toilets would be a plus, too, if that is in the hotel\'s future budget. All in all, great stay and value :)

Staff figured out that door was broken so I had to be let in by a staff member every time I came and went. Then fire alarm was chirping and needed new batteries. Light switches did not work. Shower wouldn’t turn off and knobs needed to be fixed. Fridge froze my food and there’s no way to adjust temperature. Overall a terrible experience. I was here for work and this made everything so complicated and stressful. I want a refund.

Very nice quiet stay for one night. Friendly front desk and hot breakfast and a clean room. And each room gets it's own parking spot right in front of your door. It's just outside of town so not really walking anywhere from the hotel. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We found the beds were very uncomfortable. Way too hard to get a good night's sleep. The A/C didn't work effectively. The breakfast was fair...ran out of meat while we were there the first morning. They brought more in but we were done with our meal. There was no juice dispenser. The gallon jug of juice was empty the 2nd morning we were there. There was very limited parking for boats/ATV trailers.

It is an OLD 60's style motel. Staff was very pleasant! Rooms were clean and beds appeared new and were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The free breakfast is very limited and more like low budget motels. Waffle maker was good, but they only had some cereal and breads and gallon jug of OJ. For the price it was a great find.
