Dependable, economical hotel centrally located with nice desk staff. Breakfast was free but could be better as it was sort of “continental” but the waffles and coffee were good! But, the first day, they ran out of items and the second day, they began to take down the breakfast items a few minutes early. The swim pool was closed which is not a great thing since it was summer and HOT outside! Also, the mattress was not very comfortable.

The only thing that was annoying was that the card keys were unreliable. I had to go to the desk 2x to get a new key. Other then that it was a great places to stay at. Clean pool with towels stocked. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The perfect stay. Close to food places and gas stations.

Always liked La Quinta but this one was awful. The room was very dated, the outdoor pool was full of moss. The room TV did not work had it looked at twice still never worked. T continental breakfast was very limited. I will never return to this location.

Stayed in this La Quinta for a couple of nights (its close to Simm's Steakhouse).Safe, quiet (enough), friendly staff, good parking (especially for RVs). Water temp in the showers varies from scalding hot to slightly boiling. Fitness center is fine. Treadmill and elliptical work, bike does not. Decent spot to catch your breath & get a hot shower while traveling.

Back entry door(East end) was not secured at all. It seems to look like the 1st floor flooded as sometime go and was never fully repaired you can smell it in the carpet. Carpet needs to be replaced.

The whole first floor smelled of dog urine. The back door to get in said it was locked 24/7 but was unlocked 24/7 instead. My key never worked to get into my room so every time I needed to get back to my room I needed a new key. Breakfast was offered but it was very limited with yogurt and toast. My tub in my room had hair in the drain and scattered throughout the bathroom.

This LaQuinta is a good value. The decor is dated but everything is clean and functional. If you're older, it's not dated, LoL. Good coffee and breakfast. Have rebooked and experience is the same. Overall best value in Lakewood Colorado.

The carpet was really dirty in our room and down hall way. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful .. they were all great . I couldn’t tell you about the gym we didn’t use it . There was dogs in about every other room. There was a car in the parking lot that had make shift tents made across from windows to the road with everything they had piled all around no one asked them to leave ! The door at the end of hallway was never locked even at night, there was people coming in and outmost of the night … so it was very disturbing that the homeless were able to just walk into the hallways while your paying guest were sleeping !

My only real complaint was the tv. Twice there was no signal.when the cable was working, the volume control didn't work and was stuck on a rather high volume. Property was a bit older and run down, but not dirty. Staff was 😃

It was just ok. Needs updating. Cardkeys repeatedly quit working and had to be replaced. Carpet was stained. The best part about it was the location and the fact that it was dog friendly.

Very nice, spacious room. And I’ve never had a hotel room with as many electrical outlets spaced around the room. Both sides of the bed. Easy to charge our phones and tablet.

I went to check in at 3pm and my room wasn't ready. I waited for about a half hour, no problem. The next morning I woke up with horrible back pain and went to get ice for my pain and the ice machine was broken. I went downstairs at 9:40am to get a cup of coffee and some ice for my back. There was a heavy-set woman behind the desk who gave me two bags for ice. I went to get coffee and there wasn't any. My shoes stuck to the floor like someone had spilled syrup all over the it. When I told the girl, she said, "Breakfast is over." I then told her my shoes were all sticky and I don't know what to do. She said she'd get someone to clean it. As I walked away, a blonde woman with tattoos down her arm was on hold on the phone behind the desk and said something derogatory to me. I stopped and said, "Are you talking to me?" She then swung her head around and said very loudly, "AM I LOOKING AT YOU?" I could NOT believe how rude and awful she was to me! I guess she wasn't happy with me interrupting her speaking to her co-worker. There I was, no coffee, sticky shoes, and in horrible pain from my back. I went back to my room and cried. I went out that day and came back to my key card not working....twice! I ended up sleeping elsewhere that night. I was fine until that evil woman yelled at me.

On the second day of our stay our door would not unlock. The manager tried using his pass key with no success. The maintenance man came right away, even though he was through with his shift for the day and obviously tired. He was very accommodating and replaced the lock in about 15 minutes.

Kimbery was one of my favorite part of my stay. She is extremely good at her job. She treated us like we were the only ones checking in. She displayed a true interest in our visit to Colorado and suggested a few things for us to Check Out. I also observed her interaction with other hotel guests and was equally as genuine to them. I looked forward to seeing her everyday I was there. She always welcomed me back to the hotel and even noticed a new t-shirt I bought for a souvenir. She represents quality hospitality at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham/DenverSouthwest Lakewood. I will definitely stay at this Hotel in the future. From one Happy Texan.

Checking in was ok. Went to go on the room, took 4/5 truss to get the door unlocked. Card reader is faulty Bed were nice soft pillows. Room seemed to be clean. Wasn’t the quietest room. 5 in the morning door was slammed. There was kids running up and down the hall. My daughter went down to get coffee. Once Susan took 5-6 times to get the key card to work. There were no towels in the bathroom to take a shower. Didn’t have time to go down and get towels. We complained to the girl at the desk when we checked out told us they have lots of problems with the card readers. Told her about the no towels and she just said well that’s weird. She just came off like I don’t care. Get out and go. I don’t think I would stay here agian.

No housekeeping, you have to go get towels. Bathrooms in the lobby are always locked. Ran out of waffle batter multiple mornings. Ran out of coffee, the juice machine was out of order. The shop for sundries etc. was empty. Someone on my floor was constantly smoking. The thermostat in the room didn't work. Pretty disappointing, as I stay at other LaQuinta properties and they are always great.

I arrived a little early, but was told that I could not go into any of the Rooms. As an early check-in, I would have to pay $50. So the foyer filled up with people waiting to check in at 3 o’clock. Once 3 o’clock rolled around there was a very big line to check in And guests were not checked in in the order that they had arrived on site. This made for a very long check in process With one attendant. The market was not open so purchases could not be made. The attendant was unfriendly. Overall, the customer service and hotel rules were at best uncaring, and at worst downright rude. The accommodations were OK, some smells in the hallway were unpleasant.

Easy check in, clean facility, comfortable bed, close to Red Rocks! Continental breakfast was the usual- served early enough so we could get an early start on the rest of our trip.

I was blown away by how much cheaper they were compared to other hotels in the area. I wasn’t expecting much, but to my surprise, everything was great. Friendly staff, speedy service, and surprisingly quiet rooms(given the hotel is right next to a highway). Definitely recommend!

Stay was great! First time in Lakewood area, very convenient area for shopping and great places to eat. Will stay in La Quinta Lakewood again!

Stay here if you need a bed but don’t care about the hot breakfast. I’m a sucker for a good hotel breakfast and this was unfortunately the opposite. The only hot option was waffles but the machines were a little dirty and there was no spray so the waffles kept sticking to the machine. They had cereal but the milk was empty. The juice machine was broken so there weren’t drink options either. Like I said, decently comfortable bed but don’t rely on the breakfast.

We have always enjoyed the breakfasts but here there was no real breakfast. no scrambled eggs, no breakfast meats no potatoes, just hard boiled eggs, yogurt and waffles not even a banana. Will check if real breakfast is served before- I would ever consider .booking another room. If you are not serving a real breakfast do not say you are.

We went to check in and there were 4 people ahead of us. The lady behind the counter was more concerned with training the new employee and making everyone wait. She could've taken over, having the trainee watch and checked us in a timely manner. Additionally, its advertises a breakfast, but if you are Gluten Free or trying stay off of carbs, theres nothing for you, unless you want a hard boiled egg.

We need more cleaning, especially in the bathrooms! The breakfast service was terrible, there was never anything after 8 am, if you asked for waffle flour they said that was all for today. The only good thing was how friendly the cleaning ladies were when you met them in the hallways.

We went on a trip with our dogs, and this hotel is very pet friendly. A small deposit but it was worth it to bring our pups along. Many other guests had dogs as well, and it was still pretty quiet (except when my dog barked in the room. Haha). The continental breakfast was pretty standard, but sadly I didn’t see any breakfast meats (bacon/sausage). There were boiled eggs, a clean waffle maker, good hot coffee, bagels and muffins. The bathtub in my room was why I knocked a point down because it was REALLY worse for the wear, and definitely needed a good repaint or even a whole new bathtub. But the room was clean, and the ac worked great. The front staff was VERY nice and pleasant. The grounds were clean and the area was quiet, despite being near a busy road. We all had a very relaxing time. If you’re traveling with your pups, I recommend this place.

Hotel location is good. Feels safe and close to businesses. The place is older, room is comfortable but needs updating. Toilet is very low to the ground! The worse thing, breakfast is very lacking, no protein ( cooked eggs, bacon, sausage or ham) available!

Let me say first that I stayed her 7 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, so naturally when coming back into the area I chose to stay again. Bad decision! Attitude of desk clerk was poor. Clerk stated only one door card can be issued, when I explained that other La Quinta Inn' issue two cards he stated that this hotel wasn't like others. Luggage carts not available. Pool was closed, clerk said pool has been closed for month and a half due to lighting. Friend's and family in Denver area dispute that, no rain for months. Apparently this hotel houses people full time, One family out in front of hotel with all of there worldly belongings, waiting on Uber. When I inquired at the desk, I was told they were living here, but not anymore. Halls smelled like smoke. Ran into 3 people on third floor smoking pot in laundry room. When I inquired as to the safety of the hotel and parking I was informed that I should park closer to the front, as cars parked in the side and rear of hotel have being broken into and theft is occurring. We were planning 5 nights in the area, left the next morning. Have subsequently heard the the whole area is being run down. Look further out for a better experience.

My room 202 smelled so bad like urine I could barely handle it. My bed had a huge deep dip in it. This property is very dated.

Most of the lights in the parking lot were not working. This is not a good idea when all parking spots fill up late at night - all lights should be working!!! Work on breakfast to offer more choices! I booked room in part bcs pool and hot tub!! Neither was open and therefore a huge let down as I live in Idaho where pools are few and far between!!

And book the trip to this hotel and on my way to the location my car broke down my cell phone died and I was not anywhere I could walk to to change the reservation so my room went on used waited till the morning to get my phone charged and called to see if they would either refund me or do something because the room wasn't used at all and their answer to me was no the policy was know that they cannot do anything which I think is that very unacceptable after I paid $200 at 9:30 p.m. to check in unacceptable unacceptable
