No Elevator and on the second floor. Had to switch rooms at check in as they smelled of pets bad. The staff was friendly, ice machines were both broken. Bed was good, bathroom is tiny. Breakfast was okay and very busy everyday.

This place is a hidden gem for sure! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, an awesome pool/hot tub with pool toys, plus a lawn game area on the outdoor patio. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, featuring hot meals that were different each morning in addition to what you would expect from a typical continental breakfast. The dinosaur theme was really fun too. No lie, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It is on the older side and there is no elevator to get to the second floor, but everything was spotless and well maintained. The only hiccup we had was that there was only one working ice machine that was being heavily used so we were unable to get ice the first night of our stay. Other than that, everything was superb! Highly recommended staying here especially if you have kids.

Booked this room thinking it was close to my appointment and that it had a pool and a hot tub. Well the pool and hot tub were both out of order (and had been for weeks). Then I get to my room and theres no bath tub only a shower, and absolutely no t.p. in the room. I had to call doen to the office immediately. But the people working there were all very nice

Staff and prices were great, but the rooms and bathrooms were pretty small compared to other hotels. Pool smelled of sulfur at times and I noticed lots of bugs in the water. Probably should use more chlorine to keep it clean or something.

Only complaint was that the pool was not filled and couldn’t be used, wish I’d been made aware of that before booking it might’ve changed my decision. Other than that it was lovely.

We have a little yorkie dog so of course we had a room designated for dogs but it reaked of urine smell. My yorkie immediately went to smell all the scents in the room. On this trip since we have her we have stayed in many pet frienfly hotels and this was the most expensive we stayed in and it was the worst smelling one. Very disappointed.

The carpert was so filthy that our feet were sticky. The beds were clean. And the Staff is always lovely but this was our 4th visit to the Best Western and it has gone down in quality each visit. We will not return and will book a different stay next year.

Room carpet and the arm chair were stained/not cleaned, toilet was not clean, the fridge contained alcohol and open drinks from the previous guest, and the air conditioner is so loud that you cannot sleep with it on. By far the worst Best Western that I have ever stayed at.

The bathrooms need help! There was mold on the ceiling about the shower and it looks like someone age the bottom of the shower curtain, I did not take a shower in there. The sink it located outside the bathroom and the room we were in, the p trap smelt so bad that I had to keep the sink plugged otherwise the room smelt rotten. The front desk was nice and the breakfast was good. But really, there is nothing worse than a dirty bathroom!

The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok. Staff was so friendly. Big downfall was not that many channels on the tv and the Netflix app would not connect for us log in. Also the room had some random items form previous guests which was odd.. Bobby pins in the bathroom and eyedrops under the nightstand

I reserved a 2 queen room. Was given a king plus a cot, which I was fine with. After I signed the check in and was charged, I was then told there was no tv or shower head. The man at the counter didn't seem to think that was a problem until I said it was. He said he would get the maintenence guy in asap to hopefully take care of the shower. We got into the room to find no blankets on the bed. The sheets looked like they had been there for months. Dust and other particles all over them. There was dirt, spill spots, trash and dead bugs all over the floor. The alarm clock was under the bedside table. Went to ask for blankets and was given 2 of the thin ones that go under the comforter. After discovering the sheets were dirty we went to ask for clean ones. An older woman brought towels. When she was told we needed sheets not towels she responded with an eye roll and walked off with the towels. I decided at that point we weren't staying. The man then came back to the counter to get us checked out. I told him he should have that room cleaned before giving it to anyone else. He had absolutely nothing to say. Not until he handed me my refund receipt. At that point he went on to tell me how the manager would be calling me (never did) and that I should contact Expedia to ensure I got my refund. Not sure how that is Expedia's or my responsibility. If i haven't received my refund by the next 2 business days i will be calling my bank and Best Western corporate office. Worst experience

Overall I would have to say that this Best Western was pretty good. The only issues that I had was the comfort of the bed. I could feel the springs in the mattress. The other issues was how loud the cleaning crew was in the morning. I could hear the staff talking loudly outside my door at 8am when I was still trying to sleep. Other than those two issues, my stay was good and I would stay there again in the future.

The beds definitely don't look fluffy and comfortable like the ones they show in photos- very uncomfortable, older beds that when you turn over, they about bounce you out of bed! Pillows were flat as pancakes. Surprise $100 deposit at check in not mentioned on Orbitz. Room was pretty clean- hair in shower and on bedding. Right next to pool is not very quiet. People up partying and loud at 4am. Sound barriers in room are not good- upstairs above us sounded like a wrestling match was going on. Breakfast food options limited as compared to other BW's and very basic. Holes in black out curtains let light in. A/C super loud and made an annoying high pitched sound. Pretty disappointing stay.

We actually ended up having to extend our stay due to hospitalization of a family member and the hotel accommodated without issue. I normally only care about a bed to sleep in but we ended up staying in our room quite a bit. It’s very quiet around here even being close to 285, you barely hear the traffic! I never heard neighbors tv or conversations in our room (even though I heard talking walking in the hall)! The staff has been polite and helpful! The breakfast is pretty good (real eggs) with a decent variety!

Very bad customer service experience at the check out. This stay was work related. Had a morning meeting in town and was not sure if I can make it by 11 am check out time. Explained situation and asked if I could leave a small cary on at the desk. Was told a simple “no” without any explanation, then asked if I could extend the checkout time by 30-60 min. The answer was “you can buy one more full stay” Checked out by 8:30 am and the front lady was on the phone with her family or friends the entire time.

The first room the TV didn’t work. After trying another remote and still no picture we were upgraded to a suite that was great. Breakfast was great. I do have to speak to the front desk since they overcharged my card by $100.

Over all it was a quiet, safe area which is most important in a big city! It had a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, tater tots, and even green chile! Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small, and has a dinosaur theme. Pleasent stay, biggest gripe was the front desk guy was new and not trained so took forever for him to check me in.

We stayed here for a few nights when we were in town for a concert at Red Rocks. The hotel was very convenient to Red Rocks Park. There were lots of dining options around the hotel, and it was fairly convenient to the Denver Airport. The breakfast offered lots of choices, and it was delicious. All staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. The rooms were a little outdated and worn, but the beds were comfortable.

Great older property that is really well run. Rooms were clean. Pool was great. Hot breakfast was well tended and staff was always friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. Everything was easy actually. It’s older so some things show wear but overall this place is clean, safe and quiet with great amenities.

I loved staying at Best Western Denver Southwest. This hotel feels like a museum, they have someone at the lobby explaining everything about dinosaurs which it’s really cool. Breakfast was awesome, the staff in the kitchen is super friendly and the lady that helps you to make waffles was very nice. The only downside it’s that it’s far from downtown. An Uber to downtown it’s around 20 dollars but it’s totally worth it! I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the Best Western Denver Southwest was great. The servers for breakfast were so kind and helpful!! I had my 2 grandchildren with me. More than enough food variety and it was good. Front desk was helpful. The housekeepiung was great too. I stayed for a week and had all the breakfast and towels I needed thanks to the staff at this location. Thank you for the great stay!!

Clean room, helpful staff. Older rooms and no towels at the pool. The lady who cooked and staffed breakfast was amazing! Came because of the dinosaurs and fossil theme. Please bring back your Dia de Los Dinosaurs month- I would have loved it!

If you want 2nd floor and need an elevator don't book. We loved our stay. The pool was really nice, hot tub jets weren't working quite right but still relaxing. Breakfast was tasty and staff was kind and friendly. Originally only booked for two nights but enjoyed it well enough to extend our stay and additional night.

After checking in I discovered front desk only issued one key even thought I was traveling with a friend and booked a room with 2 beds, My friend left on an errand with the one key so I approached the front desk requesting another. As he issued the additional key he explained the original key would not work and I would have to return to enabled it, so I requested he make 2 functional keys and questioned why he didn't make two keys initially. In an angry voice he told me that if 10 people checked in he would not make 10 keys and if I didn't like it I could leave and threw the 2 keys at me landing on the floor, repeating if you don't like it you can leave. The conversation went downhill quickly and ended with him running to his cubby hole behind the front desk like a little girl screaming get out repeatedly. I sent a note that night to the hotel management about my experience, that was 5 days ago...crickets! There are so many options for a motel in Denver that I recommend you try any one of them before staying here. I will never return here or any other Best Western.
