For a Hyatt Regency in Greenwich CT. You would expect so much more. It was average at best & the room was just very run down. Not what you would expect at all

If you are looking to get some rest this is not the place. Got a hotel so we I could get some quiet and work, it was the opposite, a loud wedding sounded like banging all night until 1 am. I called front desk starting at 11pm and they never picked up. Finally called the Hyatt main line and they connected me. The front desk agent spent time on the phone looking for another room, after waiting for a response and getting nothing from him I said, just give me a late checkout so I can sleep in. Fast forward 6 hours later and all I hear is ding ding every minute from the elevator which is right next to my room: I went to my job exhausted with a headache and they could not find another room for me. Complete disaster. I never give bad reviews but this was so awful and after working 12 hours on no sleep because of this hotel I am doing you a favor. Book a different hotel.

Beautiful property. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Wish there was somewhere to get food after 11. Attended a function that didn't end until 11 and there was no where to get a snack , our fault for not planning ahead. Otherwise, we love this hotel.

We came up from Queens as a way to get out of the NYC and to enjoy the pool and amenities. The cab ride from the train was only $12. The property is amazing and so well decorated. You can tell that the furniture and interiors were well thought out. The whole inside/ outside atrium was wonderful at night. I love how relaxed and safe the hotel felt and walking around the hallways was giving 'liminal spaces'. I highly suggest the half chicken and salmon meal from room service that we ordered twice. We ate once in the restaurant but they didn't have many options for vegan/veggie or kids, so it was nice -but- the room service was much better option for us. We really love the tiny shop of snacks and also there was a shopping center directly next to the hotel and a CVS we were able to walk over to. The main problem that would stop me from giving a 10/10 was that the pool , pool room and gym were not clean. We had a good time swimming on Friday and Saturday but by Sunday morning the pool was so dirty we didn't dare swim more than 20 minutes. Overall for ambience, location, price and experience I would recommend.
